Our renting experience was everything we could have asked for. (Erik even had us a decorated Christmas tree waiting on us). I will definitely rent this house again.Recommended for: Age 55+.

What a great place for a relaxing family vacation. The home is layed out well, is beautifully furnished and is close to all the activities we enjoy - the lake, gambling, golfing, etc. The owner, Erik, was awesome. Very responsive and really cared that we enjoyed our time in his home. The game room off of the garage was PERFECT for the teenage boys - they had their own place to hang out and listen to their music, without really disturbing the adults. The only negative was it seemed that over time people have been "removing" the kitchen supplies. There were not a lot of bowls for cooking or serving, or dishtowels, but there was plenty of silverware/dishes and other amenities. We would definitely stay in this home again. The house was everything as advertised. Very well appointed, from the kitchen, living room, bath rooms and bedrooms. In fact, it was lovely! For once the photos were pretty accurate. We had friends stay for two nights and they were very impressed. We weren't too far from all activities. Would recommend the Gondola ride to Heavenly and especially, the tubing! My friend and I are in our 60's and we loved it! The owner was easy to contact, and had I noticed the combination to the hot tub was on the Fridge, I wouldn't have had to call. The front stairs could be difficult if you are older. Would not want to try in winter! However, because the living space was on one level, it worked well. Overall, had a wonderful, relaxing time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed in during our recent tahoe trip. very good location and easily accessible. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 9 adults and there was still plenty of room available in the house. The air hockey table and the foosball table is an added bonus. Great fun! The house itself was very well maintained, recently renovated with modern amenities. There's also a jacuzzi available, but we didn't use it since it was snowing heavily. We definitely want to stay at this house again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a great ski weekend in this home. It was the perfect size for two families and the game room off of the garage was perfect for our teenage boy and his friend. The game room is only accessible from the garage, not the main house, so it would not be good for younger children. The home is very close to heavenly ski resort and our favorite restaurants. It even worked great when we ate in. Plenty of room for everyone. Very comfortable accommodations. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property was absolutely perfect for us! The central location, 3 bedrooms, & 3 bathrooms were perfect for our group of 3 couples. The home was very warm and welcoming and had everything that we needed! Erik was great and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back next year!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is such a nice house for our group weekend trip! Everyone loved the house and location. I am extremely satisfied by all the things that were provided in the house -especially kitchen supplies. It was also very easy to work with Erik, he had been very helpful throughout the entire process.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed here for two nights. Perfect location to go to the beach as well as a trip to the casinos. Everything we needed was there - appliances, kitchen utensils, two TVs with DVD, high chair for my kid. We even got a late afternoon checkout for free since there was no one checking in the next day! Will definitely be checking this place for availability first for my next trip to Tahoe! The owner was extremely helpful and responsive via phone and email when I had some questions.Recommended for: Families with young children.

From Highway 50 (Lake Tahoe Blvd.) take Ski Run Blvd. Make a right on to Pioneer Trail and a left on Pony Express(apporx. ¼ mile). The house is at the end of the street on the left side. For late check-in, please call me at 408-218-5022 to make special arrangements. Only “Paid-in-Full” reservations will be entitled to arrange for a late check-in. Security Deposit & Damages: Each rental unit has a required security deposit equal to one night's rental rate or a minimum of $500.00. In lieu of a security deposit you can opt to purchase CSA Security Deposit Protection for a nominal one time fee of $39.00 instead of having to front the security deposit fee or have it charged to your credit card. This protection will provide you with the assurance that inadvertent damage by you or a travel companion will be covered under the plan up to a maximum limit of $1,500.00. Eliminating the worry of when and how much of the security deposit you will receive back. Any damage to the property, other than normal wear and tear, is the responsibility of the tenant. Assessment of any such damages is determined by the property management company of the property in which you are staying. Occupant is liable for any damages to the premises and to the furnishings, equipment, and household items therein, which occur during occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. Damages include, but are not limited to long distance charges. Check-In and Security Deposit: For all reservations, check-in time begins at 3:00 p.m. (For December 26 – January 4 check-in time begins at 5 p.m). About the owner: Our family enjoys everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. In the winter, we are only minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort where we ski and snow shoe, and Alpine Meadows, Kirkwood and Squaw Valley are just a short drive. Summers are filled with golfing, hiking, playing on the beach, biking or relaxing on the back deck in the hot tub. There are plenty of options for dining and entertainment including the Casinos and movie theaters, as the home is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe. We hope you enjoy our home and the beauty of Tahoe and all it has to offer, as much as we do!
