I brought the kids here for spring break and we had a great time. The home was beautiful very nice and very clean. It had everything we needed for a nice relaxing get way. The owners were extremely easy to work with. Much better deal then any hotel.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and I had our 43rd anniversary celebration at The Eagles Nest and it was a wonderful experience. The unit is so cute and comfortable. We felt right at home. The view was great and it was so peaceful. The location was perfect for getting in and around Valdosta but also it was close to a local thrift shop, antique mall, country style restaurant and grocery store. What more could you ask!! I can't wait to go back with my 2 daughters and my sister.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My two sisters and I throughly enjoyed the Eagle's Nest. The townhouse was carefully and beautifully decorated -- with comfort in mind. Accommodations meets every need for an enjoyable stay. The lakeside view -- amazing. The Eagle's Nest and lake are truly more delightful than the pictures and discriptions listed. We are so happy to have discovered the Eagle's Nest and hope to be frequent guests.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The Eagle's Nest was the perfect place for my family. We found it neat and clean just as described. Carla was absolutely wonderful to work with. The only issue we had was with the Wi-Fi and it was no big deal. My family visited Wild Adventures Theme Park several days during the week. We bought a season pass so we could come and go. It was only a short drive away and not crowded at all during the week. July 4th we enjoyed the firework spectacular. There were tons of eating places nearby. My son and his granddaddy were able to enjoy fishing together. The view set up was perfect for our family. We look forward to returning in the future. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy the Eagle's Nest!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

The moment we arrived we loved it. we had a great time. This place was in good condition when we got there and it was in good condition when we left. My family and I enjoyed setting on the deck eating our suppers. We walked down by the water and my granddaughter loved swimming with the fish. This was just the perfect place for our vacation. We hope to this again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed at the Eagles Nest for a visit with friends in the area. Loved the room for the 5 of us so much better than a hotel. Our friends brought dinner over both nights and we enjoyed all the quiet and peacefulness of the lake. Great having the deck for additional dining room. Will definitely consider another stay at the Eagles Nest on our next trip to Valdosta. The owners were excellent to work with in arranging our trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I rented the Eagles Nest hoping to have a quiet, intimate atmosphere while enjoying quality time with our grandson on his 1st birthday. We were NOT disappointed. This was and is an amazing property. It is very clean, modern, and very comfortable. We were very satisfied with this rental and can hardly wait til we can make it back down from our Gwinnett County home. We very much recommend this property to anyone who is looking to find an intimate, beautiful retreat for the weekend, or however long the stay may be. It would be well worth it regardless of duration.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at The Eagles Nest very much! The house is wonderful and stocked with almost anything you would need. The lake was beautiful and our 2 yr. old daughter even got to feed the ducks off of the dock. We loved how close we were to the racetrack, malls, etc. but how quiet and calm the atmosphere was at the house. The owners were also very nice and willing to answer any questions we had. We will defiantly be back next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This property is tastefully decorated, comfortable, provides a wonderful relaxing view of the lake, and has been a perfect way to celebrate the end of summer before we return to school. We are staying here for four nights while we take in Wild Adventures Water Park. Our three boys are in HEAVEN that they can wake up every morning and go fishing. So bring your fishing poles! So nice to see them enjoy God's earth instead of playing x-box or some other contraption! The owners have thought of everything and you have all the conveniences of home without having to bring them with you. The unit has all the essentials for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Beats a hotel any day! The owners have been professional and great about contacting us. We will DEFINITELY stay here again when we come back to Wild Adventures. We found a new home away from home! Thanks for renting out such a quality place!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our stay was great! The boys (11& 14) loved the lake either swimming in the evening or fishing in the morning. We loved sitting on the quiet porch watching them. Most nights had supper there also. Perfect spot. Days were spent at Wild Adventures, great family park. Might suggest a second TV upstairs. We hope to come back again. We would certainly recommend this property. Owners were very helpful and property was clean and well maintained.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Our family stayed here in the middle of July for a couple of nights before heading to Panama City for a Softball Tournament. We arrived very late at night, but as soon as we walked in we already felt at home. It was very peaceful and would never know that there were people around us. Our two girls loved jumping off the dock into the lake, and my husband and I just enjoyed being able to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. If we are ever headed back down to this area, we will DEFINITELY stay here again. Might just come without the kids!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We stayed here for the month of March 2011. It was lovely. We found it quiet and peaceful. The condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The lake was great for a view, fishing off the dock, bird sightings, sun tanning. We plan to do it again. We golfed in Lake Park, went to church at Cross Pointe in Valdosta where we met wonderful people. We joined the Y in Lake park. There is a lot of choice for eating places if you include Valdosta. Florida is only minutes from Lake Park. If you like sight see there are many interesting towns within driving distance. day trip! We wish we had access to a small row boat or canoe or paddle boat. We will look into this.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We (my wife & I ,and our 2 daughters (10 & 9) frequent Wild Adventures Theme Park and have been staying at various locations (hotels, campgrounds, etc). Our search for the perfect vacation lodging ended with "The Eagle's Nest"! It offers everything we have been looking for and more - all the amenities and comforts of home - without having to pack up our entire home to travel with us! The location is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, with the large backyard leading to the peaceful lake, and the home offers every comfort and is tastefully decorated! The owners are very accommodating, and have seemingly thought of everything to make your stay exceptional! We look forward to returning for an even longer stay as soon as possible! Thanks for making your 2nd home available for us to enjoy!Recommended for: Families with young children

Memorial Day Weekend, my husband and I stayed at this clean, quiet town home. For us, it was a nice interval of rest and calm. The owner was exceptionally hospitable. Before our arrival, she answered all our questions with a smile in her voice. We appreciated her helpfulness and good cheer. My husband and I also noticed small, extra touches that made our visit even nicer--high quality DKNY towels, a water purifier on the kitchen sink faucet, and candles. During the day, I laid out by the lake and read. My husband fished. We drove to Valdosta for supper at The Bistro. A very good jazz quartet (trumpet, guitar, drums, and piano) played Summertime and other musical favorites while we ate Oysters Rockefeller, Baked Vidalia Onion Dip, and Angus Filets. When we retired in the evenings, we opened the blinds to the full length window facing our bed so that we went to sleep with a panoramic view of the lovely lake. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. As a matter of fact, we, ourselves, plan to return next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and our two young girls (both under three) spent a very relaxing time here. They loved the stairs and we loved the comfortable beds, fluffy towels and the location (near Wild Adventures!). We would love to stay again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
