  We could not have been happier with our stay at this little beach cabin. The beach was amazing, the property was well maintained and the the cabin was rustic but with all the nessesary amenities. Placencia offers a perfect mix of laziness and adventure. We did 3 fulll days diving, a day on the monkey river and the rest of the time between the palapa in hammoks and under the searing central american sun. If you need transportation (which you will given the proximity to town) you can rent a scooter from leo next door at the green parrot. The people of placencia and Maya beach are very warm and welcoming and If you stay here make sure to make friends with Jake bartending the little tiki bar next door at the maya breeze inn. He is a great guy who makes great drinks. We will be staying here again in the not so distant future.

  We were referred to this property by a hotel in Cahal Pech. Booking with Ken was simple and easy. We found the studio to be very quaint, comfortable, and private. It was also very clean! We appreciated the modern luxuries of the A/C, full kitchen, small appliances, complete kitchen, drinking water dispenser, and bicycles to use. The Green Parrot Resort next door was very accommodating with helping us access the bikes and transferring to the airstrip. A small grocery store is just down the street (2 min walk). The owner of the store was kind enough to let us take a cart of groceries to the house :). Overall, our stay was very relaxing as intended. Thank you Ken!

  The beachfront house was excellent for us. We enjoyed snorkeling at the Island off shore and the kayaks used to get there. We also enjoyed touring the town and eating at the Green Parrot and other places. Leo and the staff at the Green Parrot were very good.

  My husband and I just returned from 8 days of heavenly bliss! What an adventure and this little place was so comfortable! We loved the warm people and especially loved the people from the Green Parrot next door! Leo was so awesome, scheduling our adventures snorkeling, a Mayan tour (Xunantunich) and Monkey River. He uses local tour guides and can really make your excursion so worth your time! This was my 1st time snorkeling and I was very nervous but Leo connected us with Aurin. He took us to Silk Caye and Frigit Caye and was so very patient. He made me feel so safe! The highlight of this place is renting a canoe (next door at Green Parrot) & paddling to nearby False Caye! The water is crystal clear and you can see sea urchins, starfish and coral from the canoe. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Ken!

  This was our second time to Belize and the second time staying at Carrib delights! Again we find this is a great home base for our style vacation because we love the beach and ocean, but we always rent a car to discover the rest of the country. This time we set out to San Ignasio and PG during our 10 days there, both can be done with a day trip. My number one highlight was going to the village of San Miguel to tour Tiger Cave with Vicente, a Mayan guide. He was very nice and knowlegeable about the cave and the nature around us, and at the end of the tour he invited me into his home for an authentic mayan lunch with him and his whole family! As always just like last time I can't wait to go back as I'm planning it right now.

  The beach house was perfect for our vacation. My husband & I were very comfortable in the upstairs unit. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of extra towels & linens available and the bed was very comfortable. Most importantly, the unit has air conditioning! The screened porch was great for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails looking over the beach & Caribbean. I was concerned about being so close to the Green Parrot Resort, but it worked out very well having a restaurant & wi-fi next door. The manager of Caribbean Delights works at the Green Parrot & is very helpful with almost anything a traveler would need to know. We have been traveling in Central America & Mexico for over 30 years & rate the Caribbean Delight in the top 90% of places we have stayed for convenience & comfort. It is not a 4 star hotel, but if you are looking for a peaceful get-a-way with options to go out & explore or chill on the beach this is the place. Two thumbs up!

  My wife, daughter (13) and I stayed here for a week and loved every minute. We drove from Belize City which is very scenic and very much worth having a car every day. Don't believe the books you may read, driving in Belize is no worse than any city in the US. From the privacy to the activities around this location, this is a perfect home base for your perfect vacation. We ate at most restaurants within walking distance and we never had a bad meal. If you want to save some cash either eat in or just down the road (south) in Seine Bight there is Verns, which is a roadside stand, the food is outstanding and Vern who is a woman is a sweethart. To some it up, as we speak I'm setting up my next stay at Ken's place for my 10 year anniversary. Thanks Ken!

  Ken is a great owner and easy to access via email and phone. His place is great, clean and relaxing. Very relaxing, if you want to hang. His photos and description are very accurate. His price is great for the area and the air conditioning is a huge plus. Mosquito screening in both places was great. Do not ever purchase a room in Belize without an air conditioner or screens. Both of Ken's rooms have them and both were well used. The beach is clean, easy to walk on and shallow. It is a few yards from your door. We cooked most of time. If you want to get all your food for the week you do have to make going to Placencia a big shopping day. It does cost $15 USD each way to get to the Placencia. We went when the water around the island was murky so we could not see much, but got a great trip to Silk Caye with Splashdive. Restaurants charge about $12-18 per meal per person. Prices in Belize are not cheap, but they are reasonable. Placencia has some good restuarants: the Shak, the Secret Garden. Just expect food to take a long time to be served.. remember you are in Belize and food is served on Belize time... not your time. Have a great time in Belize and rent from Ken.
