Our cozy 2 story clean cottage is located right on a highly prized white sandy oceanfront beach, in a quaint untouched lobster fishing village in blueberry country near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
The cottage sits within 75 feet from the waters edge. One can sit and listen peacefully to the gentle surf as it caresses this beautiful shoreline. There are gorgeous expansive views of open ocean and spruce-studded islands. Clamming is also nearby for one to enjoy. There are many lobster wharfs where one can go and buy their lobster for tonight's dinner right off the boats from the local lobster man's daily catch.
This cottage has a beautiful stone fireplace which creates a great ambiance and charm! We have a fully equipped kitchen, a picnic table, satellite TV and a dvd for your pleasure.
One can admire magnificent sunrises and awesome moon rises from both the living/dinning room as well as the upstairs master bedroom. An interesting and enchanting Down East vacation getaway at it's very best!

We enjoyed our stay so much. Listening to the surf late at night and early morning, the sun warming the kitchen table, people walking, jogging, and picking up sea glass and the seagulls soaring over head. I did a lot of painting of the islands and boats. We just love it there.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Stayed here 50 years ago on our honeymoon. Stayed again on our anniversery. Best ocean view anywhere.........will probably do it again next year. Quiet,relaxing. Our kids rented it as a gift. Owner very gracious.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.
