We loved your beautiful house. We went boating on the reservoir nearby and saw many beaver houses and two blue herons. We had wonderful ping pong doubles tournaments. We felt extremely cozy and will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future... We enjoyed eating several meals on the deck. We used the gas grill for hotdogs and it worked very well. Our family had a wonderful vacation in Becket! The babbling brook was all dried up but we did get to see 2 porcupines climbing up a tree right off the deck! The bungalow is very comfortable and homey. It is a wonderful place to unwind and visit all that the Berkshires has to offer. We visited many area museums and the men of the family did lots of fishing. Thank you!

Thanks again Arthur and Caroline for another great week! This is our 3rd stay at your house and we enjoy it more each year. We had a snowstorm (about 7-8 inches) one night that made for great skiing the next day. We skied 2 days at Butternut and two days at Jiminy Peak. Both were great!! Our boys enjoyed exploring out back and building another jump (to snowboard and ski over and down). The boys are “almost out growing the bunk bedroom, but I’m hoping for one more year if possible. Our friends and family who stopped by also enjoyed visiting with us at your comfortable and relaxing house. We hate to leave, but the week is over already. We hope to visit again next President week. This was such a warm, inviting home. I loved lying in the hammock, relaxing in the living room with a good book, or sitting on the deck. Our vacation was peppered with the wonderful music of the Tanglewood students—our little daughter (granddaughter) included. We were able to enjoy the concerts in the evening and soaked in the Berkshire atmosphere in the daytime. I guess we were sort of addicted to the Prime Outlets! David did some wonderful painting while mom and I shopped. I got some much-needed rest and mom commented that she finally didn’t feel the need to be “doing,” but could just listen to music and really relax for a change. Perfect weather and a perfect setting.

Our second stay was even better then the first! We all had a great week skiing, relaxing, eating, drinking, entertaining friends and family, sitting by the fire and playing games. Today we are going home. This is a beautiful house and we enjoyed it very much. My sister and I played monopoly everyday. I read the 6th Harry Potter book to my mom. We had a wonderful time here in the The Berkshires. We rode trail rides, swam in lakes, ate ice cream (numerous times) and more. I also had a wonderful 9th birthday here. Two days remain until the end our relaxing and therapeutic week at your charming cottage. The hiking kept us busy during the day and the cultural activities provided our evening entertainment. To see Mark Morris, Donna McKechnise, and Savion Glover [at Jacob’s Pillow] within a four-day stretch was like eating three gourmet meals (with no calories!). And we love the bungalow in the woods. If you ever want to sell, give us a call. Otherwise, we’ll just have to rent again next year.

We really enjoyed our week here in Becket! (It went too fast!) We skied "Butternut” and “Jiminy Peak” and had fresh snow almost everyday. Great conditions at the mountains and beautiful scenery everywhere!! The house was a great place to relax after skiing each night. The fireplace was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The kids loved the house having their private space in the bunk-bed room. The only problem we had was the house alarm beeping occasionally during the night. Thanks Arthur for your help with that. Maybe we will come back next year!! Let it snow…
