My wife and I stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend and could not have been more pleased. It is in a perfect location and only steps from the ocean. This makes it easy to go and come from the house to the beach for anything you forgot or just for another cold drink. Once you cross the bridge to get on the island you do not have to leave the island for anything. They even have a four screen movie theatre just up the road. There are plenty of good restaurants close to this home. One is located only a matter of steps from the house. The home itself is very accommodating for a couple like us or for a large family or friends. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The owners have just repainted and redecorated the interior so it looks fresh. The elevator is a life safer for getting your luggage and groceries to the upper floors. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to get away for a beach vacation. Your only regret will be having to leave.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Two Brothers Lair was perfect for a family get-together with grandparents, children, grandchildren. The home is very nice, very comfortable, and well located. Easy two minute walk to the beach or to the outstanding Island Grill. The elevator makes arrival and departure easy. No lugging boxes and suitcases up and down stairs. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the owners (or their wonderful agent, Amanda Rice) had put up a Christmas tree for us and had bought a new grill for our use. And when we forgot a couple of things when we left, Amanda made a special trip to the house to see if they were there and then promptly shipped them to us. You can't find nicer people to deal with. Next time, I think I'll bring my boat and keep it across the street at the marina.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family spent a wonderful week in this beautiful condo a close walk to the beach. Our daughter and her two teenage children and a friend were very comfortable here and had all that you could possibly need in a vacation home. Pretty view from 3rd floor deck of the ocean. Would highly recommend this vacation home to any of our family or friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners.
Owner response: Joan, You are so sweet and I am so glad that you and your family are having a good time. It is so nice that I got a chance to get to know all your family. It feels like I have known you for a lifetime. Maybe next time you come back (hint...hint..), we can grab lunch. Amanda Rice

I was amazed by the home when I finally got a chance to see it in person. When my girlfriend and I rented this home out I was in Iraq at the time so she had to do the looking for me. This home did us well in letting me relax and appreciate the sound and smell of the ocean. You can imagine they don't have that in Iraq. I had so many friends come to visit and I hope we didn't make too much noise but it was such a blast having so much room to have people over. The home worked out well during the family get together that we would have every few days. I loved waking up in the master bedroom and being able to walk out on the balcony to get some fresh air. The home is very spacious and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a home to be comfortable in. It worked out great being able to spend time alone with my girlfriend and turn around and invite friends and family for dinner. The wireless internet was a big plus since we use the internet to correspond with work and I am a fan of the xbox and netflix so that amenity was needed. Your kitchen...I love it. The fridge was big enough to pack enough food for all my guests and my girlfriend was doing a good job at putting that stove to use while I kept things steady on the grill. The only complaint that I have would be the woman next door who parked in the driveway one night. I knocked her door to ask her to move her vehicle and there was no response. As I am on the phone with the tow truck driver she comes out and doesn't say a word to me and moves her white bmw. Not to mention she pulled the rental sign out of the ground and threw it in the yard to make room for vehicles that were going to park past the property line. The home is wonderful and I suggest putting and keeping the grill on the 3rd deck for easy cooking with the kitchen being up there. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home and making my vacation back in the states enjoyable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family had the opportunity to stay at this rental for a weekend get-a-way. We were pleasantly surprised at this immaculate, spacious home. There were 10 people altogether and this home accomodated us all nicely. The pictures do the home no justice at all. Even more, working with Amanda was easy and she was very welcoming and accomodating throughout the whole process. This find is definitely a treasure hidden along the sea. I cannot wait to plan our next trip right back to the same spot again in the very near future! We did not want to leave but had to unfortunately return to the realities of the real world. It was fun while it lasted!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks so much for the kind words. I am glad your family enjoyed it and I really hope to see all of you again in the future. Amanda Rice

This is our 4th year coming to Atlantic Beach, NC. And each year we try to pick a home, where it is located, with in a few minutes from the house. The picture do not do this wonderful home justice. We love the 3rd floor, and all the floors of this home, the best, and bath rooms, where great, and the decor was wonderful. In the Guidees to this home, it says that it's PET FRIENDLY, but it's not. One thing that we will have to look for next year, while the information say's it is, the Group that holds this home for rent, does not allow pets. We think that it needs to be changed. Over all we have had a wonderful time, here. The "Pacfic" shops across from McDonalds is a great play the gentalmen working there is very nice, and really went out of his way to help us, find and get everything that we wanted, and needed to take back home. Each of the floors here at the house, are hardwood, a lot of light in the house, during the day, which is great. The door's are a little tricky to work, on locking, so we just used the Car Port, to go in and out. We couldn't get the fire place to work, some of us wanted pictures in front of it, and we couldn't find how to work it. The home is well, worth the price. It's well maintained, clean, and fresh when you come in. The walk to the beach, we had to go up the road to another pier in order to get on the beach, where it is great. We were here for the Boat Show, Racing over the last weekend, as we are currently wrapping up our two week stay, we will forever hold this vacation dear to our hearts. I would say, if you have kids, and a few people coming with you, then I would recommend this property to you. See you all next year, same time. Sept.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Rob, I am so glad that you enjoyed this property and you were a very pleasant person to work with. I apoligize that the door was so difficult to work with and it is being taken care of. I am a little concerned with the Pet Friendly statement though? This home is Pet Friendly with a max of 2 pets and there is a non-refundable pet fee, per pet. If I or someone else told you differently I am sorry. So I hope to see you and your family back next year and be sure to bring your pet with you. Thanks and see you in 2011!!

Why Atlantic Beach:
Atlantic Beach is an area I frequented as I was growing up and was always drawn back to the Area because it has all the amenities and accommodations that a larger coastal community has without the traffic and congestion. It is rich in history dating back several centuries both on the Island, Morehead City and Beaufort. The inshore and offshore fishing is excellent with the gulf stream being only a short boat ride away. At the end of the day, nothing compares to a walk on the white sands of Atlantic beach as the sun sets over your shoulder.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
We have Two very nice restaurants within 100 yards of the home that features both local seafood and a variety of fine cuisine that will satisfy both adults and children. Fort Macon, one of the most famous confederate strongholds of the Civil War is only 3 miles up the rode, while the historic city of Beaufort is only a short 10 minute drive. There is waterfront shops and restaurants open morning, noon and night. If you enjoy fishing, you can bring your boat and dock it right across the street for a small daily or weekly rate and you`ll only be a mile from the inlet that leads you out to some of the best fishing on the North Carolina Coast. Walk to Breakfast, lunch, Dinner or the beach and never get in the car. We have ocean views, sound views, elevators if needed and plenty of room to entertain family and friends.
