Having lived in Colorado for 20 years and having numerous opportunities to rent condos in various ski resorts across the state, I can say that this last stay at the Mountain Plaza Condo was certainly one of our best. The location could not be better. Lifts are literally a few steps from the condo door. The condo itself is beautiful with very comfortable leather furniture in the living room, a good sized kitchen with granite counter tops and high quality appliances and comfortable beds in the bedrooms. The second bedroom with two queens is huge and had plenty of room for our daughter and her husband to put up a Pack and Play for their infant and sleep their 4 year old in the second twin. There is an enclosed porch with well cushioned chairs for reading. I would think that later in the season this would be quite usable. Ski storage both on the first floor as soon as you enter the building makes storing and transporting skies to the lifts quite easy. A second ski closet on the third floor immediately next to the unit had ample room for ski boots and helmets, items that can quickly clutter up a condo with six skiers. One of the main reasons we chose this condo was the size of the dining table. This was a family vacation and we were able to sit six adults and two small children at the same table each day without having too use bar stools at a kitchen counter which is so common in units of this size. The owners have been very responsive and helpful. The unit was spotless upon arrival and we would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a condo for 4-6 people. We had rented this unit for five days in February and six days in March without having seen it other than the pictures on the internet. We were a little nervous about that commitment but having now stayed there once, we cannot wait to return next month.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of four stayed in July of 2012. We weren’t able to book this condo for our full stay (it was already reserved), so we spent 2 days at another condo (which was in a different building) and the rest of the week at this one. And we are so glad did-- this place was absolutely worth the wait!!! VERY SPACIOUS and perfect size for a family (or two!). 3 full bathrooms are unheard of. The effort the owners put forth to make this an enjoyable stay is obvious—items are labeled and easy to find with in the condo. The owners created a notebook full of current information about the condo itself, the resort, and the area. The décor is outstanding—we have stayed at several other VRBO’s around the country and it’s so nice to stay at a place where the owners really care about their condo and the experience the renters will have. Everything is extremely updated, organized and CLEAN. The condo’s location is excellent—we felt very comfortable letting our two children (ages 9 and 12) explore the area because everything is so very close in proximity to THIS condo. Our two kids wanted us to add that they loved having their own queen-size bed to sleep in (better than their twins at home!). We all enjoyed the screened-in porch every morning and evening. Perfect coffee and cocktail spot! For all that you get, we find this to be an excellent value.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came to Copper for a spring break ski vacation with another couple. This was our 2nd time at Copper, previously we stayed at the Mill Club. This condo is not only well updated/decorated/clean but the perfect amount of room. Another couple could of easily came with us. The owners are very helpful and make the stay very welcoming and easy. Location was perfect, ski in ski out, but not facing the mountain which is great because our last stay sleep was constantly interupted by snowcats on the mountain. This condo was less than our stay at the Mill Club and better overall. Would recommend to a friend and stay here again and again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This place was worth every penny. I will be booking this same place next year for our families annual ski trip and any trips to come. The condo was everything we could have hoped for, it was clean and just as described. Kitchen was great and well stocked with pots and pans, water was always hot, plenty of towels, each room had a humidifier, I could go on and on. We had zero complaints about this unit and zero wants! My three kids are already asking about next year! If you are reading this trying to figure out which unit to rent for your trip, stop looking and contact the owner now. You will not regret it! Owners were great to work with and very helpful in planning all aspects of our trip. My family and I just returned from a 5 night stay in this beautiful Condo at Copper Mountain. It is truly right at the base of the mountain - we walked out of the back door of the building - walked a few yards - put down our skis and we were on the lift - wonderful! The unit itself has been recently renovated, and is "like new". The beds were comfortable - kitchen well stocked - couches in the living area great - tv's in den and both bedrooms with cable. The owner has a "guide book" on the coffee table - it includes information covering everything from where to dine, rent skis, where to find the humidifier in the unit, to directions to the grocery store - all excellent information and a great time saver! The ski lockers are on the first floor - come in from the slopes - walk a few feet down the hall and store your skiis and poles. Up to the 3rd floor - the private locker is the next door past our unit in the hall - it was wonderful coming in and taking off our boots in the hall (she even has a little stool so you can sit down while removing your boots - much appreciated by my husband!) and leaving them in the private locker - no "puddles" on the floor of the unit. The bedrooms are in a "split" arrangement which allows for more privacy. The master bedroom and bath are big and comfortable - plenty of drawers to unpack. The 2nd bedroom is huge - 2 queen beds - a big desk - private bath with a separate vanity area outside. The 3rd extra bathroom was an added bonus.Wi fi was much appreciated. You will need a car - you must pick up your keys from an office building in Frisco - very conveniently located right off of I-70 about 6 miles from Copper Mountain. We received excellent instructions and did not experience any problems with key pick up. The unit was just as advertised and exceeded our expectations - we loved it and we will definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and also, plan to return ourselves!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Over the past ten+ years we have stayed at over 25 different condos in the Summit county area (Keystone & Copper mainly). This is the best unit for the location, price and overall quality that we have ever stayed in - the whole family agrees including the teenagers! The unit is completely renovated and the location can't be beat. Since the unit is on the end of the hallway, it is very quiet and has a nice view of the lake in town. The furnishings were high quality and the pictures are very accurate. We will definitely stay in this unit again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving in this beautifully decorated condo. The condo is extremely well located and exceptionally comfortable. Every need you might have has been thought out and covered by the Popes. In fact everything felt brand new and the condo was much larger than we expected. I think the shock that my 9 year had when we explained that the condo was not a hotel but was someone's ski home explains it best. It truly felt like 5 star luxury hotel accommodations rather than a simple "ski condo". The pictures online do not do it justice! Plus organizing our stay could not have been any easier. My family stayed at this wonderfully appointed condo to attend the Warrior Dash. We found it to be exceptionally clean, comfortable and with everything in perfect working order. My teenager was delighted at having a couple of places in the condo to retreat to as well as being one staircase away from the center of the action. And while this condo is central to shops, restaurants and the ski lifts it's also quiet. It's located at the end of a long hallway from the elevator. This meant no people walking and chatting past the doorway. All in all a super find. They even sent back some very important medals that my son acquired after running the Warrior Dash. TWICE!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

I have been to several different resorts in Colorado, but in January 2012 made my first visit to Copper Mountain and it will not be the last. It is the best. And what made it even better was the condo, the location is perfect close to the ski lifts, shops and restaurants. The condo is luxurious ,spacious and well decorated. The owners were a pleasure to work with, we could not have done better, very satisfied. We had a fabulos time and I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to share your home away from home. Both my husband and I agreed your taste in furnishings and decorations are exceptional. We LOVED your gigantic guest room and the fact there are 3 full baths.... a huge plus. Truly, there is nothing I can recommend to make it any better! IT is a cozy and comfortable, and even the nights we cooked, had everything we needed. THANK YOU! Our family Thanksgiving was celebrated in this lovely condo in Copper Mountain. I found the accommodations just perfect for a family with a beautifully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area with flat screen to watch the ballgames, spacious bedrooms and 3 full baths....all the amenities of home! At the end of the day, the 3 internet connections allowed us to check our laptops and follow the weather conditions for travel as we left for home. Being located in the hub of activity was ideal for children and adults alike. We were able to walk everywhere....ski school, the lift, restaurants, shops, etc. Especially appealing and convenient was the restaurant downstairs, featuring the soup of the day, hot chocolate for the kids, and a variety of choices as we came in off the slopes. Another real plus is the heated garage which allowed us to unload and reload in comfort. I will definitely stay here again...in fact, I hope to have the opportunity to experience the summer activites as well.
