Sunny Cove Beach House is your oceanfront retreat on the Monterey Bay. Sit on the deck enjoying your panoramic oceanfront view of the entire bay and have your breath taken away. The water crashes up to the cliffs in your back yard, just 50 feet off of your 300 square foot private deck. Enjoy your morning coffee with sweeping Monterey Bay and Big Sur views as you sit directly on the cliffs of Santa Cruz. Share your sunset with whales, otters, dolphins, and a glass of wine!
The Sunny Cove Beach House is a three bedroom, two and a half bath home steps from 'Sunny Cove' beach, a wonderful gem of a beach tucked into our neighborhood. Sunny Cove beach is known for the awesome body boarding waves and for being sunny most days. From the house, you can also walk to expansive Twin Lakes Beach, the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor, and surfing at Black's Beach. Famous surf spots the 'Hook' and 'Pleasure Point' are also just a short drive or bike ride away. Live like a Santa Cruz local during your stay by picking up fresh produce at the Farmer's Market across the street (sometimes they have fresh caught fish!). There are several restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance from the beach house including the oceanfront Crow's Nest at the harbor. See the map below. They are popular establishments, and people come from all over town and beyond. But you can simply walk....
The Sunny Cove Beach House, located in a very nice neighborhood, comes complete with a full kitchen and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal right at home while taking in the ocean view. We provide all linens and beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for your vacation stay.
Centrally located, you are less than a ten minute drive to Capitola Wharf, Capitola Village, Capitola Beach, Pleasure Point, Downtown Santa Cruz, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Wharf. Sunny Cove Beach House is only 40 minutes to Monterey and 90 minutes to San Francisco. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family beach vacation.

Exceeded expectations. As a local who rented the house to host my extended family for Thanksgiving, we were very pleased. The kitchen is larger than the pictures make it appear with lots of room for prep and to cook a large dinner (in our case, Thanksgiving dinner). The neighborhood is very upscale and perfect for walks. Views were amazing. The best value for the price I have seen. Considering renting again in the Summer, even though we live just a few miles away. Thank YouRecommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Loved this house, every morning we would watch the dolphins from the deck, I think they liked to perform for us, it was fun. we also named a little otter that appeared to be an orphan. His friend was a bird that would actually land on him while he was eating. My niece called the otter Iggy. The home is located close to everything. The house is in a cul de sac and we all felt safe. We only have one suggestion that they get a faster internet service. I hope to go back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

Sunny Cove house was amazing! Perfect for our girl's get-away in November. Lots of lounging space and an incomparable view of Monterey Bay. Did I mention the otters...dolphins...and Whales!? They put on quite a show. House/location was in a great/safe neighborhood, and even better than the pics. Within walking distance to Crow's Nest Restaurant (for dinner) and Aldo's (great Eggs Benedict). Thinking of getting my sister's together for a reunion - this would be a dynamite spot. Thanks, Chris for all your help - can't wait to return!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

This house is exactly as they say. The view of the ocean is amazing and unobstructed. The home is spacious and warm. We were able to walk to the Crow's Nest for dinner and shopping in Capitola was only 10 minutes away. The location is perfect for a family vacation or a girl's weekend away. We will definately be returning.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were here for a girls weekend - this house was perfect! The highlight was sitting on the deck watching dolphins and seals play in the surf. When it got too chilly, we came inside and enjoyed the view from around the fireplace. It was nice having the bedrooms away from the main living area and the house was stocked with everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house sits on a bluff directly overlooking the ocean, with fabulous water views from all the main rooms. Very private, quiet neighborhood. You can't ask for more if you're looking for peace and tranquillity. We also enjoyed the central *protected* patio with barbeque. The kitchen is cheerful and well-stocked with a cozy breakfast nook. Though this is an older home, it has been well-maintained and updated for comfort.. There's plenty of room to spread out between the spacious living-dining area and and the three good-sized bedrooms, which are in a separate wing along the side of the house. We were there with our college age sons and they also felt that we couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing setting. It was a wonderful place for a family getaway. We felt completely at home and at ease in this lovely house. There are great places to walk, the house was very comfortable, had everything needed and plenty of room. The views are hard to beat, and watching dolphins and sea otters with a cup of coffee was the best! We already have plans to return for our anniversary. Thanks to Chris, the property manager for being so helpful and accessible.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The kitchen is huge, cheerful and well-stocked with a cozy breakfast nook. Though this is an older home, it has been well-maintained and updated for comfort, such as newer bathroom fixtures.
