Out the door and toes in the sand! This amazing ocean block home has it all! Our gracious beach retreat is perfect for families looking to escape to the shore. Newly renovated in 2010 and awaiting your arrival – and just 4 houses to the beach. Weekly Rentals Only June-August.

This spacious two-story home will accommodate multi-families in five bedrooms, 2.5 baths plus a hot and cold private outdoor shower. The home is tastefully appointed with Tommy Bahama style elegant furnishings and décor – yet it’s meant to be lived in and enjoyed. Guests will love the lower-level open floor plan with two large living areas both with 52” flat screen TV and plush comfy sofas. The modern open kitchen has granite countertops and all new appliances. The island bar seats 6 and opens to the second living room also with comfy sofa and chairs. This is a fabulous place to gather while cooking a big family dinner or in the evening for cocktails with friends. A beautiful wood dining table spans the two living areas and can comfortably seat twelve. There is whitewashed flooring in the kitchen and a rich hardwood floors in the first living area. There is also a half bath on this level.

The second living area has a comfy sofa and chairs, additional seating and a 50-inch wall mounted flat screen TV. There is off-white Sisal style carpeting in this room and an enclosed laundry area at the rear of the room with stack washer/dryer. This living area spans the back of the house and looks out into the very private back yard with mature evergreens and lovely landscaping. '

There is a 14x14 screened porch with a Brazilian cherry sofa and loveseat. In addition there are two comfy rockers and a cottage-style white washed dining table that seats 8. The vaulted porch ceiling is painted with dreamy pastel blue and white clouds set above the ceiling fan. This is truly a special place to retreat at the end of the day. The landscaped yard has several lounge chairs and additional patio furniture. It is fully enclosed with 6 foot privacy fencing and is graced with miniature white lights throughout, a water fountain and garden lighting – a truly enchanting place to relax in the evenings. In the mornings you can enjoy your first cup of coffee under the shade of the trees or on the screened porch while watching the outdoor wall mounted porch TV.

The second floor has a large open center hall with hardwood floors – all five bedrooms are on this floor. There are two bedrooms that share a large full bath with shower in the front of the house. Each room has a high-quality bedding (queen and king), lovely furnishings, ceiling fan, TV, large closets and newly finished hardwood floors. All furniture, including beds, is new in 2010. The are three additional bedrooms at the back of the house. These bedrooms share a large double vanity bathroom with tub and shower. There is a king bed in one room with cable TV. This room has great views of the back yard. The two additional rooms are what we call “kids” rooms – both can sleep two to three children depending on their ages. One room has a queen and twin bed while the other has a full size and twin bed. There is an additional sleeping mattress under the queen bed that can be pulled out if needed.

Amenities include large capacity washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, one full refrigerator and one mini-refreshment refrigerator, stereo/DVD/CD with IPod dock station, Comcast cable TV and high speed wireless internet, 52” wall mounted flat screen TV in main living areas, one outdoor TV on porch and a gas BBQ grill. Two-zone central air and heat, outside hot/cold private shower, off-street parking for 3-4 cars. The house is a 2400 square foot split duplex (two homes share one lot with one common wall but all outdoor spaces are private). Tenant provides towels, linens, soap and paper products.

Chef and/or catering services can be arranged upon request. We also can arrange to have wood delivered to your house for your family beach fire (you pay cost of wood and town permit fee).
