My husband and I were fortunate to spend almost two weeks at this lovely house in mid- to late- March. The house is every bit as nice as described, and the setting among the vineyards is relaxing, open, and yet private. The property was clean and comfortable, with more than enough room for the two of us - it can easily accommodate a group with its three full bathrooms and ample sleeping areas. We loved the spacious, airy master bedroom! The owner was helpful from our first to last contact. Driving to nearby areas is easy and fun. We loved the market in and the town of Carpentras, Vaison-le-Romaine to the north, Orange and all it offers, Avignon and its palace - well worth taking a tour of - and Aix. Walks from the house itself are lovely. We loved staying here and hope to return.

We had a great stay in Provence for 2 weeks in May. This was our 2nd time at Chez Chloe and will not be our last. The house has everything you need; very roomy, clean and well maintained. The owner is very helpful in answering questions and concerns via the internet. The property is beautifully situated in a vineyard about 1 mile from the small village of Violes and is very close to many other small villages for wine tasting and some really wonderful restaurants. We would highly recommend Les Florets restaurant in Gigondas for a wonderful dining experience either on the terrace or the dining room. Also recommend the village of Beaumes de Vignes for muscat tasting. We highly recommend this property.

We spent the last week of April in this home in the middle of a vineyard. It was a great location for exploring the many villages within an easy drive around Provence. The village markets were lots of fun and the lovely fabrics of Provence difficult to resist! We enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace before heading off to explore and sample the delicious food at local restaurants at lunch. On our travels and through the markets, we picked up food and wine to enjoy back at the house in the evening. We really felt that a car was necessary to fully enjoy this area.

We had the great good fortune to spend the first week of October at this lovely, spacious home in Provence, and can recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking the beauty and peace of the region. We loved everything about this graceful, Provincal house: its comfort, its look and feel, the quiet and beauty of its setting in vineyard country, and its stunning views of the mountains to the east. A bonus was the charm of the village itself, with its warm, patient shop keepers who appeared to forgive us our countless sins against their language. We were grateful regulars at the small market near the cafe, at the boulangerie, and the butcher. The location was perfect for our explorations into those remarkable, ancient hill towns of the Luberon. We can give no report on restaurants as, with the exception of the occasional lunch while out exploring, we took full advantage of the wonderful local produce with a boost from Les Halles in Avignon and a superb street market in nearby Carpentras and returned, uncharacteristically, to enjoy preparing our own meals. But, we did note many attractive restaurants and wineries scattered throughout the region. There was not a wrong note in any part of our time in this comfortable, lovely, and fully equipped home, and we hope to return. We would be glad to respond by e-mail to any questions.
