Beautiful location & wonderful hosts! Great price! We had a lovely visit seeing Zion, Bryce & Snow Canyon. We did lots of hiking. The pool was even warm enough for us to get in the last day even though it wasn't officially open yet & we enjoyed that after a day of hiking! The setting the house is on is so pretty and landscaped very nicely. The apt. is very cozy and perfect for the two of us. My only suggestion would be to have a table & chairs (with backs on them) up in the apt as well as outside to sit and eat. The bar stools were great for kids. The stairs can be a bit hard taking luggage up & down for those a bit older.

What a great place. Just as pictured. It was a great place to come go "home" to after a day of hiking the area ...especially Zion National Park which is just 15 mins away and awesome.

The description and photos of this rental are very accurate. The unit was clean and had newer kitchen and bath furnishings. The shower was great. The water pressure and quality were great. Sometimes rentals that are outside of main populated areas have well water with a bad odor, that leaves residue on your skin and there is low water pressure - not the case here. The owners were very easy going yet professional and responsive. I'm not a mountain biker but the area was great for scenic drives and hikes. The paved road to this property also goes to the top of the mesa where there are some dirt roads. Kolob Reservoir road is very close by. It's an easy drive to sights in the St. George area such as Snow Canyon State Park and the dinosaur tracks and of course the apartment is very close to Zion Canyon. A couple of notes: there is a kind of steep set of stairs to get to the apartment - my 13 year old retriever mix dog had a little bit of trouble. The patios, deck and grill area are all shared with the main house - not a problem because the owners are nice but just something some folks might want to know.

We had a wonderful time staying here in late winter/early spring. Chose it because we wanted comfortable-yet-affordable accommodations with a kitchen (not available in cabins inside Zion) so that we wouldn't have to eat out every meal. Found the description as well as all of the previous reviews to be accurate. This is a great location, absolutely beautiful scenery, clean, well-kept, modern. We aren't even mountain bikers, although we tried it with rental bikes on the JEM trail and had a lot of fun. Mainly we hiked in Zion and Bryce, which was incredible and rewarding. The owners Monte and Bonnie were extremely helpful and friendly when we asked for advice or anything else, yet afforded us total privacy otherwise. Would recommend this rental to all and would definitely return ourselves.

We spent 6 nights at the beginning of November and had a great stay. Our stay was primarily for Mountain biking and this was a great location to explore lots of local trails - Gooseberry, Little Creek, Zen, Jem/Goulds - all nice and close. Also, super close to Zion!! Monte, our host was super gracious and was fantastic at giving us local knowledge on the best way to ride the trails to really make sure we had a great time. The accomodations were great - private, comfy bed, lots of movies, great kitchen with all the goods that you'd need to prep your own meals. All in all, we were really happy with our stay! Thanks Monte and Bonnie. I think we'll be back!! :)

The apartment was exactly as described on VRBO, My girlfriend and I found it to be the perfect place to refresh after a day of exploration in Zion Park. The apartment provided all the amenities we needed to relax and unwind during the week we spent there. The pool area was the icing on the cake. The views of sunrise and sunset were spectacular! Monte and Bonnie were great hosts and very helpful with information about the park and local area. If you are looking to get away and enjoy some peace, you will find it here. Our favorite restaurant was the Bit and Spur. We went once for dinner and again just for dessert. Also, the Cafe Soleil is great for lighter meals or something sweet (awsome baked goods). I hope this is helpful and you enjoy your trip as much as we did.

Just returned from 4 days of mountain biking in the area and can't say enough about the experience. There were (5) of us in our group and the apartment was plenty big enough and has all the necessities. The hosts are avid outdoors people and supplied a biek stand, tools and chain lube to keep our bikes running well. The apartment is minutes from the JEM trail and a short drive to Gooseberry. Back at the apartment, you'll have access to a very nice pool to cool off. If you're adventuresome enough, take a two minute drive to the Virgin River and do some rock jumping.

There were three of us staying in the apartment, and it fit us well. We cooked in the kitchen and out on the grill. The fire pit was great fun to hang out and talk about the mountain biking/hiking from earlier in the day. The location is excellent for riding Hurricane Rim/JEM trails. (i.e. straight out from the driveway) The views are spectacular and I highly recommend the property if you have a small group and want comfortable accommodations with easy access to explore the fantastic Zion NP and mountain biking on numerous trails. The owners are great people, answered our many questions, and even are guides for mountain biking the area. Several restaurants are close by near Zion, but the house is very private and allows an escape from the regular tourist spots.

Our stay was delightful and at these rates it's a steal!! We have paid three times this rate for rentals the were not nearly as nice. We are avid mountain bikers and THIS IS THE ONLY RENTAL IN THE AREA WITH TRUE RIDE-OUT ACCESS TO TRAILS. The JEM/Hurricane Rim/Goulds trail system starts at the end of the street. Gooseberry and Little Creek are a short an easy 30 minute drive. Monte and Bonnie are professional guides with "locals only" knowledge. The discription of the rental does not do it justice, the property is beautiful with spectacular views in every direction. Not one but TWO patios with fireplaces, a beautiful pool and pleanty of space to just relax after a long day of riding or hiking. The rental is close to Zio Park but not up in the canyon like Spirngdale or Rockville where traffic noise and hustle and bustle of two-million tourist a year imposed on the quality of our stay. Monte and Bonnie, our hosts were available to answer our questions and offer advice but were never imposing. Stay here....and you will no be disappointed.

Monte and Bonnie are gracious hosts. Before our stay I had lots of questions for Monte and he was very patient in answering every one of them. The Loft was spacious and classy, everything was new and clean, and they really took care of us. It has a kitchen and a grill to cook on, which is nice if you don't want to eat out. They even cleaned the grill off for us after we used it. It was too cold to use the pool area, but it looked nice :-) The property is beautiful and the rental is situated so you don't feel isolated, but you still have your privacy and the feel of open space. Zion National Park is very close as well as other sightseeing destinations and biking trails. Don't hesitate to book your stay with them, it will continue to be a hot commodity.

A perfect base camp for exploring the surrounding region, which obviously has a plethora of destinations and activities to be enjoyed nearby, while at the same time being just off the beaten path. The apartment was perfect: everything required to enjoy cooking meals and living the good life were handy in a clean setting and the scenery and sunrise/sunsets were spectacular. The owners were very pleasant and good folk.

This is an excellent place for hiking and biking the Zion area. We stayed here while visiting Utah in Fall 2010 and it was the highlight of our trip. If you're mountain biking in the area, you can't find a better spot; you step outside and you're looking at Gooseberry, and the JEM Trail is **across the street**. The main entrance to Zion Park and Springdale are a 15min drive down the road. You're close enough for easy access to the park and yet outside the tourist traffic. (It is also very convenient to the Kolob area of the Park.) The apartment/studio is very clean and comfortable, with good light, a fully serviceable kitchen and lots of space. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable, and know all the local trails. A great stay. If you're in the area to ride, don't stay anywhere else.

This was a perfect place for us when we visited Zion. We were doing some ATVing, running & mt. biking near Zion and really couldn't asked for a better place. It's only 10 min or so to Zion and conveniently located to many activities. I really loved how it is seperated from other houses and how it is right under a mountain...beautiful running trails n bike trails all around. The room and other amenities were quite nice. Only disappointing thing was that they didn't have any TV or DVD so be prepared to be out of technologies, esp. if u have kids.

Our stay was awesome! Our hosts had an answer to every question, and we really ran them through the traces! We could ride OHVs right up the street, the biking, of course, was super, perfect distance from Zion that we weren't right in a tourist trap. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and worth every penny!

Great place to stay. If you are a mountain biker this is going to be THE place to stay in the Hurricane area. Monte and Bonnie are excellent hosts as well as fantastic guides. We rode Gooseberry Mesa and several other "locals only" trails that we never would have gotten the opportunity to sample on our own. Accommodations are perfect for (2) couples or a small family.
