This seventeen story high rise sits directly on 370 feet of the famous sugar-white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. San Carlos offers a large beach side pool as well as a sauna. In addition to the wide expanse of white sand beach, San Carlos has amenities that include outdoor pool, sauna, fitness center, covered parking, and covered entry. Our policy is simple: under-promise and over-deliver so as to give you the absolute best value in vacation rentals today. We want you to feel the value you're getting for your vacation dollar and be among our numerous repeat customers, and we want you to tell all of your family and friends about the great vacation you had in a Relax On The Beach property.
YOUR INVESTMENT
Prices for all of our properties include everything except Alabama state sales tax and a nominal $125 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is standardized among all of properties. We also use a professional linen service which charges a one time fee of $25/bedroom + $10/bathroom. The linen service includes all towels,linens, soaps and shampoos. A $49 damage waiver is required insurance to protect you in the event of any mishaps.
There is a $50 cancellation fee up to 30 days prior to arrival.
To protect your investment, we also offer trip insurance from an AAAAA rated insurance company. We highly recommend you give it your consideration because, if you would have to cancel your trip for any reason, you'd receive a full refund for your rental.

The condo is beautiful, has a great view of the Gulf and has everything you need at your fingertips. The condo complex itself is well kept and is in a great location...close to everything. The shopping carts at the complex make it easy to transport your stuff to the condo. There are 3 elevator banks which are very quick. We did not have to wait long for an elevator, other than our last day when one elevator bank was under repair. The beach is wide and clean...note, if you plan to bring a shade tent make sure you put it in the correct location on the beach (behind the wood pole on each end of the condo property line) or the lifeguard in the red truck will make you move it. The pool is also very nice. We did have a little trouble getting the keys for the condo out of and back into the lock box on the outside railing but we eventually got it to work. We had a wonderful stay and hope to go back soon.Owner response: Hi Mark! We are so happy you had such a nice time at San Carlos! This was by far the most beautiful and comfortable condo I have ever seen. The pictures dont do it justice. The Master bedroom was the most luxurious bed and bedroom Ive ever seen. I wish I could wake up every morning in there. The place is decorated very tastefully and easily accomdated our large crew. Everything you need is provided iron, dishes, soap, etc. Also the location is amazing, we walked to The Hangout, Mikees Restaurant, Hooters, Scoot a Round Rentals, Sea N Suds, etc. It is so close to all the surf shops, major restaurants, bars. Master bathroom has HUGE jacuzzi tub and large shower. The Closets are huge and each room has closets and dressers so you dont have to live out a suitcase. Washer and dryer works well, we washed clothes and towels daily. The next time I visit Gulf Shores I plan on renting this condo if it is available!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

About the owner: My name is Kevin Wendelburg. I am a property owner, a real estate investor, and an Alabama real estate agent committed to 100% customer satisfaction. I will strive to under-promise and over-deliver with everything that I do. Hard work, personal responsibility, and an over achieving desire to provide the best product on the market are the cornerstones of my business, RelaxontheBeach. I started RelaxontheBeach in 2004 because I knew that the vacation rental/property management business in Gulf Shores needed a complete overhaul. I purchased my first beach house in the early 2000's and immediately listed it with one of the larger property management firms in town. While I was thrilled that the house rented as well as it did, I was not happy with the draconian commission structure, poor cleaning standards, and slipshod maintenance. I began to advertise and manage my property on my own and I doubled rental revenue in the first 24 months of owning the property. Neighbors took note. I received phone calls. I received emails. How in the world, they wondered, was I able to generate so much traffic? Every weekend there was a car in my driveway. 'Simple' I said, 'treat every customer like family.' The personal touch makes all the difference. Our potential guests are personally greeted by a knowledgeable representative. Our quality control director takes pride in the condition of all of our properties and ensures that our thorough cleanliness standards are met. We have a full maintenance department that does its best to address any maintenance concerns quickly. We strive to provide guests with all the creature comforts of home. Why the Owner Chose San Carlos:
I chose to buy a vacation rental house in Gulf Shores for a variety of reasons....the people are absolutely fantastic! Southern hospitality doesn't even begin to tell the entire story. From the waitresses with constant smiles on their faces, to the deep sea fishing boat captains with endless stories to tell, coastal Alabama can't be beat!
The beaches are the best in the world. Period. The finest white sand and the bluest turquoise waters await each and every guest. Need I say more?
World class golf is available in spades. Try your luck at Kiva Dunes, a perennial top 10 in the state of Alabama and ranked in Golf Digest's 'places to play' for an unforgettable links experience on the Gulf of Mexico. If you have a more traditional American layout in mind, the Peninsula Golf Club, with its 27 manicured holes and GPS loaded carts is terrific.
Anyone say 'fresh seafood?' You can't go wrong at any of our restaurants. Try 'Bahama Bobs' for the fresh catch of the day. The lunch specials are to die for. Its hard not to enjoy a meal when the majestic waters of the Gulf can be seen from your table!
