This was our third visit in within a year and we are planning to go back again next month. Paradise is the perfect little cabin in the woods...so quaint and cozy and the owners are awesome. We love it here and are always sad when we have to leave. Five stars plus some!

We stayed here in April of 2012 and had a wonderful weekend away from the big city. This is a rather belated review but I just realized this oversight. Although it was just our first stay here, it will not be our last. We plan to return in 2013. The cabin is accurately described and was not only beautiful but comfortable and peaceful as well. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck while watching and listening to the creek. We had recent rains while we were there and the water was rushing. The kitchen is very well stocked with almost all the cooking utensils and supplies that you could need. (Most of the non-food stuffs we bought at the store on the way out were already at the cabin.) The living areas and bedrooms are simple but warming and comfy. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed walking to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain which is right down the street and has a fantastic view. Several walking trails are nearby (just a quick drive). I recommend you bring some good steaks (or catch some fish) and cookout on the back deck. Their is a local grocery store just a few minutes away. (If I remember correctly, the Heber Springs area is dry so BYOB.) If you want to get away from it all, we very much can recommend this place. I wanted to reconnect with the great, green outdoors and was successful.

We can only echo all the wonderful reviews. This is the perfect rustic cabin in the woods. We hated having to leave and are already making plans to go back. The owners are awesome - so nice and accomodating. Thank you so much and we will be back to Paradise, not soon enough!

My husband and I spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at a most perfect spot on the Little Red River! The cabin was just what we were looking for! Cozy, quiet, clean, well appointed and great views of the river. We got to fly fish on Friday, right out the back door....but the rest of the weekend the Corp of Engineers decided to generate...o well. But we went on wonderful hikes, cooked great food at the cabin and just hung out! It was a perfect weekend. Thank you!

My wife and I spent 4 wonderful nights over the New Year's weekend, and every aspect of our rental experience from initial inquiry to security deposit refund was just perfect. The cabin itself is very comfortable, loved waking up each morning from a great night's sleep, pulling the shades up on the doors, and looking out at the beautiful Little Red River. We spent a good bit of time out on the porch reading and periodically staring at the river, even more time in the large main room with wood burning fireplace, comfortable, attractive furniture, and a big screen TV that could also be viewed from the dining table(it WAS bowl season). We had stopped at Fresh Market in Little Rock and stocked up on a lot of special deli foods, so did not do that much cooking, but the kitchen is very functional and more than adequate supplied(better supplied with kitchen utensils, etc. than one would expect in a fishing cabin rental area, but obviously less than more upscale condo rentals for intstance at the beach). It's an easy walk down the back stairs to the river, and almost every afternoon we at least walked down and enjoyed watching/listening to the fast-moving river and wildlife. Though we have fished the Little Red before with our son who was a guide for many years there, we did not fish this trip; it is, however, right on the river and very convenient to boat docks/ramps. Vaughn, the owner, was very prompt in her responses and always eager to help. When we return to the area, hopefully later this year, we will most definitely go right back to "Paradise".

We had a wonderful time in this perfect cabin........clean and well maintained, plenty of room and privacy. The owners were helpful and friendly. The cabin was absolutely as described in the listing. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends who like to fish and love the area...... Sitting on the back porch overlooking the river is an excellent way to relax......... We like the Fish House for supper and the Red Apple Inn for lunch. The Tea Room on main street has a nice lunch also......

What a great place. As others said, the pictures do not due it justice. We took our two young boys here for a long weekend of trout fishing and it was fabulous. They could go down to the river and play/fish while we hung out on the back porch. Cabin is spacious, very clean, beds are comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and dishes nicely. Wireless internet works great. There are two fridges, both with icemakers. Very nice gas grill that we grilled up quite a few Rainbow Trout on. Owner is quick to respond to emails and inquiries. Highly recommend the fishing guide services are the Red River Trout Dock right down the road - we went out with a guide and caught over 50 fish in one day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The Cabin is a perfect rental property. It is clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the personal touches in the cabin. The location was great for us. It was close to our special fishing hole where we caught over three dozen rainbow and brown trout. We saw wildlife on the property. The fireflies at night and the hummingbirds in the day were a joy. We had a quiet and peaceful stay. We hope to rent this cabin again for our next trip to Heber Springs. The owners are delightful and friendly. We felt like we were at home. Thanks for renting to us.

This place was everything and more, we can't wait to come back and stay longer. The area was nice and quiet. The view from the deck immediately took all the stress from traveling away. The place was roomy and clean and perfect for two couples, which we were, but would work well for a family too. The owners were quick to answer all of our questions and were willing to work with our unusual schedule. I would highly recommend this place to others. It was also an easy drive to the downtown area.

Four girlfriends and I retreated to this amazing cabin one winter weekend. The amenities were outstanding and we enjoyed every second at Paradise on the Little Red, especially sitting around the large round table in the dining area laughing and playing games. I'd post pictures, but as they say, "What happens in Heber, stays in Heber." We cannot wait to return!

Every year at this time we take an annual fly fishing trip to unwind after christmas. I had never fished the little red river and decided to stay at this cabin for our trip. The cabin definetly met our expectations. I knew that the dam was not generating much and we would have low water oportunities for wade fishing. The property is located on a great part of the river for wade fishing. We also ventured out to other access points and found a few more honey holes. After a long day fishing it was very nice to come back to this comfortable cabin and relax by a warm fire. The cabin has everything you need to make for a comfortable stay. I have saved this cabin as one of my favorites and plan on returning again.

My wife and I took our two children (one is an adult the other is mid-teens) and one of their friends and had an excellent time indeed. The accommodations were very new and clean, though it still had a very rustic feel with pine floor, walls and ceilings. The loft bedroom and bath was excellent for the "girls" to have their own space, while the main area with its wall mounted flat screen, great dining area and well-equipped kitchen served all of us very well. Can't wait to get back to this slice of paradise....thanks for sharing this wonderful property with others...especially us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was our first time vacationing on the Red River. My husband was thrilled with the location as the area in front of the cabin was conducive to fly fishing. Local fishermen who had ridden in their boats close to our cabin volunteered advice and reported catching (and releasing) forty in the area right in front of the cabin. The cabin is new with a clean fresh feeling. Though we never met, the owners were responsive to emails and questions, wanting to make sure we enjoyed our stay. My favorite part was the setting. It was so peaceful. When the dam was opened and the water began to rise, I enjoyed just sitting by the river and reading. The cool air from the rushing water more than made up for the heat outside.

This cabin is one of the best I have rented with VRBO. The place is spotless and the location is better than advertised. Loft bedroom and bath was breat for the kids, plenty of room for 4-6 people. You need to bring only food and bev as everything else is provided including spices, storage bags... all the things you forget to bring or buy. I would highly recommend the cabin and the owner is very easy to do business with. 5 stars!

We had a lovely stay at this cabin that is so aptly named "Paradise." The photos really don't do it justice! There is one bedroom on the main floor along with a family room, dining room and kitchen with another bedroom and bathroom on the loft upstairs. The back porch has an awesome view of the river and the front porch has a ceiling fan which made it very comfortable. Both porches have rocking chairs, which were very relaxing. My family was very pleased and we would definitely stay again!
