Our home is located in a complex of 3 private apartments with their own private entrance, courtyard and private balcony on the beach. We would be delighted to have you visit us; the complex is located at the Northern East part of the island on the private beach of Baxedes, 3 kilometres away from the traditional and charming village of Oia the most famous one.
Our retreat offers a unique and private environment and is ideal for those liking tranquillity and wants to avoid big crowds and technology. We highly recommend rent a car during your stay, we can arrange it for you.
We offer one charming studio (2 other studios are also available for 4-6 persons) with sea view and sun rise and self contained with their own private entrance. It affords one close bedroom facing the East cost with clear view of the sea, one bathroom and one kitchen with sofa and all the facilities for cooking.Our home was built with respect to the traditional architecture of Santorini, local materials and earth colours were used for its construction. The studio is tastefully decorated and offers all the amenities for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Sitting lounge area for all guests
Outside in the courtyard, we offer to all our guests a private and beautiful sitting/dinning area with barbeque & charcoal facilities. In front of the house near the sea we have set a sitting area with couches, sun chairs, sofa lounge where you can enjoy the breeze of the see, the rise of the sun and the magnificent colours of the sun set.
Maid service; include in rate. We will bring you fresh towels every day and change your linen every 2-3 day.
Internet access: You have to have your own laptop otherwise there is no internet connection available.
Additional information: Our traditional apartments are 3 kilometres from the famous town of Oia, recommended restaurants, bus terminal/taxis, grocery store, bakery and wine store. Our home is located at 20 kilometres from the airport and 23 kilometres from the port. Please be advise that the month of August can be windy this side of the island.
Information about Oia
Oia occupies the best part of the island, the north-western part. The houses of Oia are dug in the volcanic lava, mainly two-storey houses with a very particular character. This is the best choice for those who wish to enjoy their holidays far from very crowded places and experience the uniqueness of Santorini. If Fira is the fancy and glamorous side of the island, Oia is the elitist part. The town hosts a cultural centre, Greek art galleries as well as the usual handicrafts, souvenir and jeweler shops. The characteristic classic view of Oia, is the bright white and blue of the church contrasting with the deep blue of the Aegean Sea in the background. Houses, paths, churches built up skillfully on the northern part of the island. All the fore mentioned exists in combination with the best golden sunset in the world.

We would like to inform you that although these problems are serious and distressing, Greece remains an extremely safe and civilized destination for tourists and travelers .Santorini and the other islands have experienced virtually no changes from these events, all businesses and services are functioning normally and thousands of people are enjoying the wonderful Greek holiday experience.

My wife and I stayed at Ramni House, Pink Studio in June 2011 - great location around 25m from the beach up on a small cliff. Our studio was on the top floor and was nicely fitted out with everything we needed for a week's stay. Rooms very clean and kept clean by the excellent daily maid service. View through the window from the bed was right out towards the island of Ios and others. Nice northerly breeze which was consistent throughout our week there kept it from getting too hot and blew in a relaxing sound of sea waves in to the bedroom - soooo relaxing! Location is great - opposite is a really good taverna - excellent choice of food and very friendly staff. Oia is only a short drive away - a unique town. We will definitely return one day to Ramni House.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
