The Villa, masterfully run by Maria and her sons and equipped with all the comforts for a holiday in which peace and tranquility are top of the list.
The swimming pool, the great 'outdoor' space, the ample bedrooms with the amazing view of the Isola dei Galli guarantee the excellence of the Villa.
It wouldn't be unusual for guests to hear a knock on the door and find maria with a basket of lemons, tomatoes or fresh rocket to make a delicious salad, everything rigorously hand picked from the gardens adjacent to the villa or to end a magical day dining with maria and her sons.

Our stay in Positano with my family of four at Vito's place was fantastic! The location is beautiful with a view from several of the rooms to the Mediterranean. The poll was a nice place to cool off after the warm days. Vito and family were very hospitable and helpful. I felt they went the extra mile every time we had a question or needed something. It is clear that they very much enjoy having guests at their place. During our stay we enjoyed many attractions in the area, including several of the nearby cities, boating, incredible food and shopping. I hope I get to stay there again soon. Our experience with this property is "Outstanding". The property is well kept and clean. Everything was in good working order. The view from all levels of the house is wonderful. Great for early morning coffee and late day wine drinking. The location is great for a family week holiday. A food store deliver the food for free at home. The best experience during our stay was the owner of the property, Maria and the rest of her family. He was there upon our arrival to help us get adjusted to the house and answer any and all of our questions about where to find things and what to see while there. Any thing we needed during our stay, he was there to make sure we got it. We can not express how great he was during our stay. The best of the villa is the outdoor spaces and the pool. This stay in this property was one of the best vacations we have every experienced. We would love to return some day to Positano. If we do, we will definitely stay here again. We had an amazing time staying at this Villa. Vito and the whole family was wonderful which made our family's trip to Italy for my sister's wedding a magical one. Beautiful views, warm people, garden grown vegetables, homemade wine/limoncello all provided by gracious hosts. It made an Italian family from Chicago feel like home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The location was fantastic and accuratly reported in the listing as well as the photos although they cannot begin to describe the true beauty of this location. The property was vast, clean and well maintained. The owner was more than helpfull answering all of our questions. I would certainly highly recommend this property to a friend or relative. As for activities we are recommending: we loved going to Pompei, Sorrento and Capri.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

Gorgeous views, spacious villa, great location, what more could you want? Vito, Maria and Franco took great care of us while we stayed for a week on our honeymoon. We had a blast and wouldn't have changed a thing! Maria's meatballs and wine are the best!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family of four (including two teenagers) stayed in one of the apartments during our vacation in June. We fell in love not only with Positano, but with Maria, Vito and family. The location and views are spectacular, and Vito was so incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the vacation - helping me with car reservations and planning of day trips. When we arrived, they gave us a cup of coffee after we settled in and recommended a grocery store that delivered and put our groceries away while we were in town. They gave us a bottle of their homemade wine, fresh eggs for breakfast, and delicious desserts from Vito's birthday party (which we were invited to :) It is just outside of town, which we absolutely loved - could go be in town when you wanted to be, and enjoy the quiet of the house as well. Everything was perfect - the pool, the location, and the people. We can only hope we are lucky enough to go back there someday! Thank you Maria, Vito and family for your hospitality - we had an unforgettable vacation!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

If you are looking for a Villa in Positano with a spectacular view of the mountains and the ocean, this is it. This Villa is on a cliff with no other houses near by .The closest is the 5 star AGAVI Hotel .the owners will provide you with anything you need including car service . Its a family run Villa. I have returned to this Villa 4 times in the past 6 years. I also sent a few of our friends and all were inpressed .You will not go wrong Call and ask for Vito . he speaks very good English Joseph from CanadaRecommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Why Positano:
I think that Positano is very hard to explain.
When people arrive here, they often did't really know what this place represent. John Steinbeck used a very short sentece to explain Positano: 'Positano bites deep'.
In the surrounding area some of the most important archeological site, places , monument and towns (Amalfi, Ravello, Pompei, Capri). A place full of myth, history and more: good food, charming people. So: WHY NOT? See you here!
