Location: Saint Augustine Beach, Atlantic Ocean, adjacent to historic Saint Augustine, (10 minutes),the nations oldest city, and just two hours from Orlando and Disney World. Located on a wide unspoiled beach eight miles long. From this top floor unit there is a spectacular view of the ocean. You can relax on the large balcony and enjoy ocean breezes hearing the sounds of the surf.
Accommodations: Non-Smoking Condo two bedrooms and two baths, master with queen, living room, kitchen, second bedroom with twin beds.
We bought this condominium for our own use and liked the area so much we live here. Our condominium overlooks the pools and the Atlantic Ocean (About 50 yards away),with direct access to the beach. You can walk miles both north and south on the beach. If you walk north about two miles you will come to a fishing pier. The white sandy beach is wide and slopes gradually to the Atlantic Ocean. Your view is from the fourth floor. (Elevators provided.)
One of our favorite pastimes is reading and watching the ocean from the dining room, master bedroom, and balcony. (You can see the sea from the master bed.) At night you can hear the sound of the waves. The balcony is accessed by sliding glass doors in the living room and master bedroom.
Every month is a good month at St. Augustine Beach. You can swim all year round. (Note only northerners do this.) But in November and December, the ocean is still warm. The Christmas lights in Saint Augustine in December are awsome.
If you tire of reading, walking, hiking, and watching, adjacent St. Augustine is filled with activity. A city of only 12,000, it is a delight to walk and observe. There is always something to do. It includes a one of the oldest complete forts, (Castillo De San Marcos), famous St. George Street, Potter's Wax Museum, Alligator Farm, Fountain of Youth, (for the elderly), Lightner Museum, San Sebastian Winery, sightseeing tours, including horse-drawn carriages, etc. and a variety of beautiful parks.
If you tire of sightseeing, you can eat at a different restaurant a day for months from the expensive to the fast foods such as Longhorn and Outback. Local shopping is within a mile. But if you desire serious shopping, visit over l00 discount stores in the area.
There are numerous 18 hole golf courses. Golfers will like World Golf Village with two 18 hole courses. If you want expensive, you can visit Sawgrass, about 35 minutes away, with its famous 17th hole. Local tennis courts are available and free.
So whatever you are here for, a week, a month or longer, be our guest and we hope you have a store of happy memories to take home!
