My family and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at this house and would highly recommend it. Highlights: * House was very clean, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. * Three master bedrooms made it ideal for multiple sets of adults. Each had its own connecting or adjacent bathroom. * The kids absolutely loved their rooms. We probably could have taken our 4 year old girl just to the princess room and skipped the Magic Kingdom all together. She was that excited about it. * Kitchen and living room are nicely furnished and modern. * Pool table, air hockey table, and wii were all in good condition and fun to have. There also were over 20 Disney DVDs to choose from. * Pool at the house was clean, fun and super easy to use day or night. It looked a bit small in the photos to me but was actually plenty big enough for us to enjoy. * The housing development was extremely well maintained. It was nice to go for an evening walk and we took advantage of the multiple playgrounds and large resort-style community pool. * Location is amazing. You feel like you are right next door to Disney and can be at the Disney parks in only 10 minutes (but be warned that the Magic Kingdom requires all visitors to park at a remote lot, take a tram to the ticket center, then take a boat or monorail to the main gate, so it could take you up to an hour to actually get in and to your first ride). * Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. * Cindy, the owner, was very responsive to emails. * Our only minor gripe is the pillows and bedding in a couple of the rooms isn't quite up to par with a mid-level hotel like a Hilton or SPG. It was acceptable though and I wouldn't let it stop you from booking as everything else is very nice. Overall, we thought this house was a great find and very good value for the money. Everyone from age 2 to 65 was very happy. We used to stay at Disney hotels and much preferred having the space, privacy and convenience of our own place. We would definitely stay here again next time we go to Orlando.

fabulous holiday

A family of 5 stayed in this villa for 4 weeks and we enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The villa is well maintained and both Cindy and the management company were available to help with any queiries we had during our stay. Within Windsor Hills, this villa is perfectly situated within easy walking distance to both the fantastic clubhouse and the well maintained children's playground. In addition with the pool being south facing we were able to have full use of the pool all day long. Thanks again Cindy for our rental in Jan 2013 Cairns family (Scotland)

Nice Vacation

One of our best vacations ever. The house was huge. From the spacious kitchen to the private pool and spa, the gameroom, and the princess bedroom it was more than we expected. The staff at the front gate was friendly and helpful. Our proximity to Disney and Rt 192 was such a plus. We were on Disney property in about 10 minutes. The house was very clean and the grounds well maintained. Our dealings with Cindy was great. She answered all our questions in a timely manor and was always there for us. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Disney and Orlando vacation house

The house was as advertised and more. We were 11 (6 adult and 5 children) and had plenty of room for all. The theme rooms delighted the younger children and the 'Grown-up' rooms fit the adults perfectly. We found the house well maintained and clean with adequate "start-up" supplies. The subdivision is well kept with good security. The location couldn't be better. Twenty minutes (without major traffic) from Magic Kingdom parking lot to the house driveway. Ten minutes from the highway to Orlando and Sea-World and beyond. Restaurants, grocery, etc. within 10 minutes. We would defiantly recommend this property and will stay there whenever we visit the area again. The owner was easy to contact and provided any and all information we requested in a timely fashion.

Magical Vacation Home - Absolutely Perfect!

This home is absolutely amazing – a perfect & magical vacation home. The house was impeccably pristine and a lot of care and thought went into the furnishings and amenities to cater to families (adults and kids). The bedrooms are elegantly furnished for the adults and the kids themed rooms were a true delight – the Disney Princess room was the clear favorite (our daughter LOVED her room!). Every aspect of this room is perfect for a little princess – princess murals on the wall, twin beds, princess bedding, and even the pink lamp and fixtures. We also loved the Mickey & Friends room and of course Star Wars. The mattress and pillows were comfortable - we all had a good night sleep. Each bedroom also had nice extras like a flat screen TV (and there were a lot of kids Disney movie DVDs available in the ‘theater’ room). The master bath on the second floor was so spacious – we loved having a separate shower and bath! There was another master bedroom and bath on the first floor which is a great convenience if guests prefer to stay on the first floor. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware. It was nice to have the option to eat in the kitchen or in the main dining room. There was also wireless access available so we were able to check email. The pool was nice size with several patio chairs for lounging and safety fence (very important feature for us). Unfortunately by the time we chose to use the pool (the day before we were leaving), we didn’t know how to verify if the pool heat was working. The water temperature was a bit cold although I think it was heated. We’ll definitely check with Cindy for the next time. This house is in the Windsor Resorts which is a gated community and offers a relaxing, safe and secure environment. The clubhouse and the pool is perfect for families with kids. We enjoyed the live band/music that was playing that weekend. It was also super easy to get to the Magic Kingdom from the house (it takes less than 10 minutes). We highly recommend this home and hope we'll be able to book again soon. If you're looking for luxury, quality, convenience, relaxation, fun, kid-friendly, this is IT!!! It really is a THE PERFECT vacation home. Thank you Cindy!!!

When booking a home on-line, you are never sure if the pictures you see are accurate, so we were delighted to see when we arrived that the pictures did not do justice to the actual home. Mickeys Mansion is a fantastic place to take a family when visiting the Orlando area, it was clean and very well maintained, it was just minutes aways from the Disney Parks, and lots of restaurants, coffee shops etc. Winsor Homes gated community offers everything needed to have a wonderful vacation.The community pool, convenience store and fitness centre was amazing.The staff on the main gate were so helpful, mailing our postcards and giving us directions, when needed. We loved having our own pool, the children were estatic wiwth their theme rooms, and the games room was outstanding. We especially liked the special touches, i.e strollers. This home has it all.3 large master suites, three childrens theme rooms with twin beds in each. We will definitely be staying again next year. The children wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Fun For All

We were an extended family of 9, ranging in ages from 4 to 88. Everyone enjoyed the house. The two girls, ages 4 and 6 absolutely loved their princess room. It was just great having 4 bathrooms, so each family could have their own. This saved lots of time getting ready in the morning. It is very nice to be able to eat our breakfast and pack our lunch for the day. We are early risers, so we were off to the parks for opening. We came back to the house around 2 and swam in the wonderful pool, and spa. It helped us cool down and relax. We then had a nice dinner at the house, and set off back to the parks for the evening. So much better then staying in a hotel with no emenities, even if it would be on the Disney properties. Windsor Hills is 5 minutes away from the Magic Kingdom, and we never ran into traffic, and we were there the busiest week of the year July 4th. Our best comparison for calculations is that we saved about $4,000.00 from not staying at the park, at the hotels or cabins on site at Disney. I am including the cost of the 2 rental cars too. We've stayed on property several times, this was way better. We all loved the house. The pool table was fun, the pool was great, the house was roomy, if you wanted a little down time. It had it all. We checked out the community pool, but never made it there to swim. We loved staying at the house. Coming home at 11:00 PM, and taking a 10 minute swim, was just what we needed after a long hot day. My 6 year old granddaughter, wanted to know how we were going to get her new princess bedroom on the plane to take home! We all would have been happy just staying at the house for a little R&R. You won't regret renting this property. Cathy

Fantastic Disney House Rental for Families!!

Fantastic house for large parties and young families. Our group of 6 adults and 4 young children lived together in extreme comfort in this wonderful 5-bedroom house within 5 minutes of the Disney property. The three themed bedrooms thrilled the children, while the pool and hot tub entertained and relaxed the group after long days at the parks. The development's main pool was also a big hit on non-touring days. The full-sized washer and dryer worked wonders on our heavy stream of dirty laundry. Extremely well appointed, very clean, superbly located close to the parks. Ownership extremely easy to work with. We will be staying here when we return for more Disney fun in the future.

Absolutely as Advertised

We stayed in this lovely home for a week in April. We were a large group - 8 adults and 7 children. Our little girls had been looking at the Princess Room pictures on the internet and were absolutely enthralled when we arrived. Cindy was able to have one of the twin rooms configured to a king for us, which accomodated the extra couple. Her accessibility and quick responses to questions made this a stress-free transaction. The home is beautiful, well appointed and the location is excellent. In addition, the resort offers anything you could need or want. The pool at the house is perfect - the fence keeps the little ones safe, the screen helps keep bugs out and the hot tub was relaxing. Will definitely stay again if our travels take us back to Orlando. Just wish we could have stayed longer

Disney Vacation plans changed

We were originally going to check in on Saturday, We had a death in our family and was not going to be able to make it on Saturday. I called Cindy and was able to change our check in day until Sunday and picked up a day on the end of the week. Cindy, Thank you for helping us. We had a great stay. While we may not stay in Orlando again ( Enough Disney ). We will definitley stay at some of your other rentals . ( las Vegas ).

This was the first time we had rented a house for our family vacation. It was absolutely a pleasant experience. The house was perfect and the pictures on the internet were exactly how the house was decorated. We loved it. The convenience to Disney World was great. We could come back home for dinner and head back to the parks. We would do this again on our next big family trip to Orlando. It was great being able to talk directly to the owner Cindy. She was very helpful and made us feel comfortable with renting a vacation home for the first time. JL

Great Vacation Home for a Large Family

Stayed with eight adults and six children and had plenty of room. The house was clean and well appointed, close to everything we wanted to see or visit. The complex is terrific as well - with a superb community pool, basketball courts and tennis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and a few questions about the property were quickly and pleasantly handled to our satisfaction by Cindy. Despite it being the holiday week, she was responsive and focused our our enjoyment of the property. We will be return customers. One caveat - make sure the grill is adequate for your needs. Cindy arranged rental of a larger grill and took care of the delivery and pickup. We didn't have to lift a finger!

PERFECT SETTING FOR A LARGE GROUP

We had a family gathering for a week to enjoy Disney and Orlando. This was a perfect location. The actual experience matched the description of the property. It is less than 20 minutes from front door to any of the Disney parks. At the same time, it allows the family to get away from Disney by enjoying the amenities of the house, especially the pool, as well as the WIndsor Hills Resort community. Also convenient to the many restaurants, stores, etc on Hwy 192. We would certainly stay again with a large group and, if we only needed 3 or 4 bedrooms, would make WIndsor Hills community our first choice.

This is the PERFECT Vacation Home

I gave myself a pat on the back for having picked the most ideal place for this trip. We had a family of 14 staying in this house and everyvody liked it, the house is clean and spacious, the rooms are of generous sizes, there were plenty of towels, plates and utensils etc. The themed bedrooms were a hit even for the adults, and the princess room is even more spacious and prettier than the pictures. The house is very close to the theme parks, especially Disney which makes this locaiton preferable. Last but not least, Cindy was an absolute pleasure to deal with, she is friendly, efficient and professional, she always answered my questions promptly, during enquiry, before and even after the stay.

Disney Dreams Really Do Come True

We chose this property for our first-ever family trip to WDW/Universal. My husband and I had stayed at a condo in the resort before. Our 3 grandsons are HUGE Star Wars fans and I only wish every one could have seen their faces when they saw the Star Wars bedroom! They immediately set up a schedule rotating between the Disney Friends room and the Star Wars rooms. The home itself was wonderful. It offers enough room so that when traveling with more than 1 family as we were, everyone can find a little time for themselves. There were 8 of us, my husband and I, our oldest son and his 3 boys and our youngest son and daughter-in-law. The gameroom was a huge hit and an incentive for the kids to get up and get ready in the mornings after long days at the parks the day before. The pool was clean and sparkling, the hot tub was wonderful to sink into at the end of those long days and the beds are so comfortable. We all awoke every morning refreshed and ready for another day of Disney or Universal. It took us about 15 minutes to get into the Disney parks or about 25 minutes to get to Universal. It takes more time to get out of the resort than to get to Magic Kingdom. There are a number of chain restaurants, a Wal-Mart and Target within easy driving distance of the house. Cindy, the owner, was so easy and pleasant to work with. Everything was handled in a timely and professional fashion. Even when we had a problem with our refund check getting lost in the mail, she promptly mailed out a replacement to us. She was very gracious in acknowledging any questions or suggestions that we had. If you are looking for a property to make your Disney vacation absolutely perfect, this is it. The biggest problem our family had with this house was that due to a scheduling conflict on our side, we didn't have enough time to just spend a couple of days hanging out by the pool or to take full advantage of the resort amenities. We are planning another trip with new family members and this home will be where we stay. Only this time, we are making sure there are extra days built into our schedule to be able to fully enjoy this beautiful home and resort! Even if you are not doing Disney/Universal on your trip to the Orlando area, this house would be perfect for your stay. Take our word for it!!

Not as advertised

We were very disappointed with this house. Much worse than others we have stayed at in the same community. The furniture was run down. The "grill" was a small George Foreman. Biting red ants were everywhere around the pool, in the princess room, in the bathrooms and in the game room such that our kids could not sit on the rugs or around the pool without getting bitten. There were cigarette butts on the patio. The power in the kitchen and family room would blow when we used the grill. The A/C was set in a way that it frequently turned off or went to a hot temperature unless we continuously monitored it. The owner said she would refund us for one night when the power continuously went out every few minutes (requiring us to reset the fuse each time), but she never sent us the refund. I had to proactively ask for my deposit back weeks after we came home, and the owner's response to my request made me think that she had no intention of returing it to me if I hadn't asked. Very disappointing. I wish someone had warned us before we booked this house - makes me question the other reviews because our experience was nothing like what was written in them.

Owner response: Every story has two sides. Here is our story from the vacation owner side: The house is a brand new house (less than 1 year old, still under warranty from the builder Pulte Home). We just had a 11 month construction walk through by Pulte Home company the week before he arrived. We were very surprised that there is a problem in the house. When the guest called us, he immediately demanded a refund for his stay. The guest did not tell us about plugging the electric grill into the wrong outlet and cause the circuit repeatedly cut off. He told us that all he did was turning the lights on. We then sent our electrician to the home and did a check up the very next morning. Pulte Home builder also sent electrician to the home. It turned out that the guest plugged the grill in the wrong outlet. The manager also discovered that the guests are trying to set the temperature to 65F inside the house. During the staff visits, the guest did not mention the ant problems or the furniture "run down" the pool problems because the house is in very good order. The pool is maintained every week. Our staff paid three visits to this one guest during his one week stay in order to take care of his needs. After the renter check out. We did an inventory check and found out that there are a few things missing from the house including computer game disks. We tried to replace the items and try to verify from our manager that they truly could not find the missing items inside the house. Despite the problems we had we promptly returned the 100% deposit back to them. We do not feel that we should refund him more money for the problems caused by him. The rest of the story is anyone's guess. After two months, this guest decided to take a revenge on us and wrote this horrible review to scare off all our guests because he knows that we are venerable. We just want to present the truth.

This home was ideal for our family of 11. The grandkids loved the Disney themed rooms and the older boy - the game room and games. We liked the fact that we were ACTUALLY close to all the Parks. We've had prior rentals that stated closeness but were actually quite a drive to the parks. This home is well maintained and the area is very quiet. The pool was clean and fenced so we felt safe with the younger grandkids. Cindy was very prompt with answers to our questions via e-mail. This all made for a GREAT trip!

Wonderful family vacation

My grandchildren loved every moment of the time we had at the rental and couldn't wait to get back for a dip in the pool at the end of a busy day. They were very impressed with their decorated rooms. We had been hoping for a family vacation for some time and definitely picked the right place to stay. The pool at the home is so convenient. The pool at the club was beautiful, big with a huge slide. Hopefully, our family vacation will be remembered with fondness forever. The development was very quiet, friendly and safe.

Our family of 11 just stayed at this 6 bedroom home. It was extremely spacious and had all the ammenities we needed. The home was exactly as advertised and the owner was extremely easy to work with. Our questions were always answered immediately. We recommend this home to all who are looking for a relaxing place to stay while in the Orlando area. It is also extremely close to Disney and located in an area that avoids I-4 to get to Disney properties thus avoiding high traffic.

The PERFECT Family Vacation Home

This house is perfect in every way! It's beautiful, clean and spacious! We had a family of 14 staying here and we never had any space issues. There were plenty of bathrooms, towels, dishes, etc, throughout the house. The themed bedrooms were a definate hit with the children and adults alike and they were just as exciting as they looked in the pictures. We really enjoyed the luxury of being able to choose from either a private swim in our own backyard or opting for a short stroll to enjoy all the amenities the clubhouse had to offer. We couldn't have wanted for a better location, a short distance to Disney, shopping and restaurants, this house really had it all! Everything in the listing for this property is accurate and up to date. Cindy was an absolute pleasure to deal with and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this house to anyone young or old and we plan on making more family memories here in the future!

We rented this beautiful home for a family vacation. We have a four year old and a two year old. Our kids loved the Disney themed kids rooms and were happy to nap and go to bed at night, making it a very enjoyable vacation for my husband and I. The location is extremely close to all the theme parks, but the home is a nice retreat at the end of a long day at the park. The home is also very close to the community pool and playground. Cindy was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Thanks for sharing this home for a terrific family vacation!

A Great Week at Disney!

We spent a week at this home in Florida, with kids and 5 grandchildren. There was eleven in all. This house was perfect for us. The grandkids had a blast in the pool and at the playground when we weren't at Disney. We took one day during our 7 days and spent it at the house for the kids to play in the pool. The house was roomy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The grandkids especailly loved the themed rooms. We also, appreciated getting the prompt refund of our deposit. I will stay here again on our next visit.

Halloween Spent in Disney

My family and I just spend 4 days in this home and we LOVED it! There was plenty of space, everything was clean and just as it looked in the photos. The location couldn't have been better. We were able to make it to Disney World in under 10 minutes and my children took advantage of every amenity available to them. The pool was fantastic as were all the rooms. When we come back to Disney this place will be our first choice.

BEAUTIFUL HOME!

This is the most beautiful rental we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be staying here again in the future. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and my kids loved the Disney themed rooms. There was plenty of space for our entire family and everyone had there own bathroom, which was great since my husband and 3 year old son were the only boys in the house out of the 10 people that went with us! The house was well maintained and spotless when we arrived. The pool was very nicely sized and the gate that kept the kids out was outstanding and very safe! Everything that was in the listing was accurate and up to date as well as the pictures. The owner was so helpful and she answered all the questions we had in a timely manor. We were minuets from food and shopping and Disney World was right around the corner. We couldn't have asked for a better home in a better location for the price. I have already recommended this house to all my friends at work that are planning a trip to Disney World and Orlando area.

Very close to Disney World

A big house in a very nice housing development/resort that is an easy, quick drive to all Disney World parks. House very clean and new. Cindy is very accomodating and professional to deal with. The club house pool is big with a fun slide and is a very short stroll away. Most important thing to our group was convenience to Disney and this fit the bill exactly.

My family, and some employees sepnt 11 days here as we have done in the past at other homes in the area. This home is definately the best. The location to Disney is perfect and also just a short drive to Rt4 for Sea Works and other attractions. The house is a short walk from the recreation center that is as advertised. The kids had a great time in the pool and castle. It is close to reataurant, grocery stores, pharmacies and even a Dunkin Donuts is near-by. I would definately stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. The Owner Cindy is a pleasure to work with. Have Fun!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
