A darling two bedroom, one bathroom apartment has satellite TV, DVD players, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, and washer/dryer. It has appealing, comfortable furnishings with oversized windows for a fresh view of the town.
Hiking, fishing, and canoing are within 30 minutes of the property. The New River is very close by and the Virginia Creeper trail is only 25 minutes north!

Staying in the apartment above the Frog & Butterfly shop in Lansing was a quiet and relaxing experience! Everything you need for your stay is already at the apartment, so much better than having to pack linens and towels. You definitely get to experience the small town, relaxed environment many long for while on vacation. It's within 30 mins of most anything you could want to enjoy while in the mountains... shopping, hiking, site seeing and not far from the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock where there are lots of attractions!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: We live in the Charlotte area and have been going to the Lansing area for several years with friends and fell in love with the town of Lansing. It was like going back in time. When our building came on the market, we saw great potential for a store and a place to stay. We took a year to completely renovate the building which now houses the antique gift store and the apartments. Since then, several other businesses have moved into town.
Why the Owner Chose Lansing:
The town is quaint and the area surrounding the town is beautiful. We felt there was growing opportunity there.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
We really enjoy being in the town. Being close to the rivers and other natural areas that are nearby. We kayak and hike on the New River just a few minutes away.
