I'm a little reluctant to praise this listing, because if I do, it just might not be available next time! As a last minute plan, our family of 3 was very fortunate to reserve this great condo. Fantastic views (we even saw dolphins from our balcony), sounds of the surf from the bedroom, nice and clean ammenities, much better than (and cheaper than) a hotel, comfortable bed, stocked kitchen w/ washer and dryer . . . pretty much everything you could ask for. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk on the boardwalk, so we were up every morning and ended every night with a walk on the beach. It was nice having the pool so close, but I was a bit worried that being so close would be a hassle too. It was great, not noisy or distracting at all (and it was almost always occupied). Brian (Prop Mngr) was great to work with too, very accommodating. Plan to be back with more family the next time! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT GET AWAY!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family of 4 stay there for spring Break 2011. We had a great time! The condo is perfect for children. We loved watching the kids in the pool from the balcony. Great Location! Price was unbeatable!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We loved this oceanfront condo on Amelia Island. The views were stunning throughout. The condo is well represented by the photos on the web site. We enjoyed long walks on the beach each morning and late afternoon, followed by hours of reading on the patio. We spent some time each day exploring this charming Island and particularly enjoyed Fernandina where we had lunch on the pier, attended an oral history presentation at the museum and shopped on the main street. Other highlights were our visit to Fort Clinch and to the Art Gallery in Fernandina. We look forward to returning for a longer holiday.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities.

We simply love this condo! It has beautiful views and was very clean with nice appliances and everything in tip-top working order. We will definately come back to stay again! The management company was EXCELLENT to deal with and the place is perfect! No complaints here!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Bare essentials!!! Clean, well maintained, stocked and neat. Very "Golden Girls" looking decor. Nothing, and I mean nothing fancy. Nice new Burber carpet. Where do I start? How about 3 light fixtures not working, dusty windows, 1 tv, dated appliances, iron not working, dirty patio furniture, blinds missing panels and wands and a VCR. No VHS library. This unit is equivalent to one's first apartment. Not ideal for families, for there is only one television and a VCR, can u believe that? Owner was available, try Loops pizza very Good!Owner response: The property was cleaned and reviewed prior to arrival . Light bulbs blow out during storms and power surges never received a phone call re a problem other than the hurricane shutter coming down . Its automated and the button was likely pressed by one of there young children . There were bulbs in the unit ,but we were never given an opportunity to go to the unit and rectify any issue . Patio windows and furniture were clean prior to arrival. As indicated the owner was available however not called. When i did visit the condo after the departure there were wet and dirty towels thrown in the middle of the foyer and throughout the condo. Food was thrown over the DR table and on the great room floor . I don't understand the concern with the appliances they never used them . There were 3 days of dirty dishes and greasy pans in the sink and the perfectly operating dishwasher was never turned on. The amenities in the condo were clearly outlined in the listing and i was never asked any specific ? prior to arrival
