What a treat. This unit was exactly as described. It has an old Hawaiian feel, yet has all the conveniences of a very modern unit. The "openness" was wonderful. We ate every meal on the veranda. The kitchen was very well equipped, easy to use and the nearby grill worked great. The pool is very nice and there is a comfortable feeling about the entire complex. We especially enjoyed hearing the crashing waves at night and the beautiful ocean views during the day. Liana, the manager, was very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. We really liked the nearby Kumu Farm for produce and the Farm Market on Saturday am. Other activites we enjoyed were the Kalaupapa Mule Ride and Tour, snorkeling with Molokai Fish and Dive, the Halawa Valley Tour, and the golf at Ironwood. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. This was a fine vacation and we plan to come back to Molokai!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This condo in Molokai is a perfect getaway with spacious living. With all the windows open including the screened in porch there are cool breezes that pass through the house 24/7. It feels like we are living outside close to the turkeys that come around to eat the falling mangos. It is located on the corner of the building, so we hardly saw any other visitors. The condo has a private feeling and is steps from a white sand beach. We would definately come back to this condo. Thank you for having such a homely, clean and spacious condo!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

When you walk into this incredible space, at once you're overwhelmed by the view of the ocean. Everything you want in an oceanfront property is here. The plantation doors completely open allowing the trade winds to transcend you to "heaven". The first floor has a beautiful open living room which spills onto the lanai. We had dinner by candlelight on the lanai, listening to the surf. We were able to get fresh Mahi-Mahi from a local as well as papaya, mango, bananas and of course pineapple. Kumu Farms is highly recommended as a source for organic produce. This condo is appointed with every single thing you could ask for; any type of cooking item, quality linens, beach towels and beach chairs; a washer and dryer; the list goes on and on. A car is necessary on Molokai and this condo is on the western side of the island. Buy groceries in town before you get to the condo since it is about 20 minutes away. The "Friendly" grocery store has everything you need. There is a lovely community pool and gas grill which came in handy for the mahi-mahi. And then there are the sunsets...neighbors gather with wine, and snacks and watch the incredible sunsets. What a place! We can't wait to go back!Did you find this review helpful? My wife and I spent five weeks in this clean, lovely home beginning February, 2012. It is comfortably decorated, about 150 yards from the beach, and possibly the best ocean front unit on the western side of Molokai. It has everything you need, plus more. It’s nice to pretend you’re rich! Liana, the property manager, is very easy to work with, and extremely knowledgeable about the island. She makes things happen. Be sure to purchase fresh fish from her husband. The screened-in porch, and upstairs balcony, are places you’ll spend a lot of time. We rented the owner’s car, a Volkswagen Passat. It’s cheaper then the local car rentals. Plus the car rental agencies, run out of cars quickly – reserve ahead. If you enjoy solitude and a “back to old Hawaii” feeling, you’ll enjoy Molokai. Tourists are scarce and things are very quiet. Flip flops and a bathing suit are all you need. I believe there’s more deer then people. The Molokai Mule ride to Kalaupapa (Leper colony) is a must, but you should reserve a mule weeks in advance. Do so from home, before you travel. The mule ride is on many “bucket lists” and in demand. It is both exhilarating and terrifying, at the same time. Save up your money, it cost $190 per person, but well worth it. You must take your camera. Finally, if you need to unwind and recharge the old battery, or just “kick back”, rent this beautiful condo. John & Marion Rusenko West Chester, PennsylvaniaDid you find this review helpful? I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away from it all. From the moment we landed we knew this was the place for us.We were apprehensive about renting a vacation home on-line but as soon as we opened the doors, our fears were laid to rest. The condo was exactly what they said it was. They had everything we needed for our stay - from coolers for the beach to a washer and dryer. They even have a car that we rented and it was waiting for us at the airport. The property was very clean and well-maintained. I can't tell you how amazing it is to be able to watch the sunset, snorkel and swim right outside our accommodations! There was an amazing farm close by that had the most wonderful fresh fruits and veggies and I highly recommend taking advantage of it. There is also a great pool. We will definitely be back and will recommend this to our friends and family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What you see is what you get!! The photos show a beautiful place and that is exaclty what you get. We were so happy to arrive at the place we choose and not to something completely different! The moment we walked in it took our breath away because we were staring at the ocean and it was truly paradise! The place was clean, well-maintained and everytihng we hoped for. We are a family of four; my husnand, myself and two boys (13 & 10). The condo had plently of supplies for every day trip we took. We went to all the beaches we could and we were able to pack picnics, bring boogie boards, etc. The condo had ice-chests, ice-packs, towels, boogie boards, even sunscreen if we ran out of our own! The lanai is incredilbe! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner out there whenever we could! We loved the livingroom area; it had everything a family could need. Awesome flat screen TV, tons of movies, games, and a huge couch for relaxation.....and the sound of the ocean to sooth us the entire time! It was great having a washer and dryer. Every room had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking tools you need and the view made cooking even better! I would and HAVE recommended this condo to everyone and anyone! It's the perfect honeymoon spot, family vacation spot or even a place for a few couples to get away and relax! We will be back. Thank you for opening up your home to our family. It was the best vacation ever!! Sincerely, Joe, Jill, Jo Jo and Lucciano CaliforniaRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
