Coco-Nut's of Anna Maria Island is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home steps from the pristine white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Just walk 60 feet and you are on the beach.
Coco-Nuts in located in the prestigious north end of the island within walking distance to public transportation, shopping & restaurants on Pine Avenue, and access to the fishing piers.There is also a free trolley system on the island.
The master suite is extra large and includes a king bed, a queen size sofa/bed, flat screen TV and a master bathroom suite. Cots are available for additional sleeping. The other bedrooms are equipped with a queen and two twin beds. Both rooms also include TV's and share a hall bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances that you would ever need. (The owner loves to cook and entertain!)
There is ample family room space for large families with a brand new 52' flat screen TV. This house is an open floor plan with the kitchen opening to the breakfast area, family room, and formal dining area.
There is also a courtyard in back that contains a gas grill and a charcoal grill with patio tables and chairs. There is also an outdoor shower.
This rental is for the upstairs unit. The first floor unit can also be rented. It is a smaller separate residence great for in-laws or additional guests that may want some privacy. Please call for more details.

Holiday Rates ( Thanksgicing, Xmas, New Years, Easter, July 4th ) are winter season rate. Cleaning Fees for Monthly Rental Rates are $200 per month. Check in time 4:00PM; check out - 10:00PM. No exceptions. Time is needed to clean from check out at 10AM and 4PM Occupancy over will be charge additionally.Maximum 8 people.
Instructions for entry into unit will be sent via VRBO the week before arrival date. Notebook with information pertaining to use of rental, restaurant suggestions, etc. will be inside the unit.
20% of Total Rental Fee Due w rental contract if > 60 days arrival date. Remainder due at 60 days prior to arrival date, along with Security/Rental Damage or proof of payment for rental insurance. < 60 days payment due in full

Coconuts is located at the southern tip of Tampa Bay and is accessible by bridge from the city of Bradenton, Florida. It is one hour from Tampa and less than thirty minutes to Sarasota, twenty minutes to Longboat Key and St. Armands Circle, a great island shopping point. St. Armands Circle provides a bit of heaven to the shopaholic, great restaurants to the food-aholic, and quaint areas to people watch with a glass of wine or sangria from the famous Columbia restaurant.
Sarasota is the home of the Ringling Museum of Fine Arts and John Ringling's home, which is open to the public. Wenzel Music Hall offers an array of concerts by musical artists and groups from all over the world. Arboretum, former home of , offers a paradise to botanical lovers.
Visitors to the small island (6 miles in length) find 3 towns...Bradenton Beach is the southermost,...more "touristy" with one main commercial area which dead ends into its city pier. The pier will have a new restaurant in January, a fourth Anna Maria Oyster Bar. It also has a nice little jewelry shop and a crepery - perfect for late morning brunch Holmes Beach, the middle township, has three little shopping areas, the first of which houses a Publix, CVS & Walgreens, a hardware store, and several eateries and a Subway. Further out on the island on Marina, there is the Holmes Beach Shopping Center anchored by a hardware center, several gift shops, a resort ware shop Irene's( which we recommend). Off from there is a Mimi's cafe, a favorite among the locals) and a beer and wine shop around the corner bend. Further down North Gulf drive, you will find the Beach Bistro, which is excellent, but pricey and noisy.
The White Egret and Egret in Anna Maria is a decorator's dream. On down to the northern tip and Anna Maria. One main shopping street..Pine Ave. Salon Salon is great for your beauty needs., several boutiques, and six or more eateries... We recommend you try them all....the kids love Two Scoops and the Donut Shop. Adults love the Sand Bar, Ginny and Janies, Slims, and the Waterfront(pricey).
Pine Ave. dead ends into the City Pier..great fishing and a little restaurant up top for various fish specialties...medium price range.
Take a right and go to the dead end. You end up at Gallati's Marina...Walk among the docks and the Yachts. Eat sushi at the Marina.
Take a left at the dead end of Pine. Hand a right onto North Bay Blvd. You will come to Rotten Ralph's Restaurant and City Pier. Again good fishing and a great medium priced breakfast, lunch, & dining experience...everyone has to go at least once....and its walking distance from Coconuts as is all of Pine Ave. North Shore is the last street north before the Gulf....quiet and most sought after....join us for that "It's five o'clock somewhere" time....you will relax and soak in all that Florida used to be!

Why Anna Maria:
This property was built and owned by a famous local sports commentator, who did many of his sports fishing news off the local Rod & Reel Pier. Its unique design is probably influenced by his son, who is a well-known Tampa architect. It is a corner lot and the beach access and beach is just across the road. There are also 3 other beach accesses within a short walking distance - two being directly onto the Bean Point area. Our beach access leads to a wide white sandy beach. The Bean Point accesses are much smaller beaches in terms of width but good if you don't like to walk through sand .
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Since the owner also uses this property as often as time allows, Coco-nuts is constantly being up graded and maintained. Hurricane impact windows have been installed and appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves are the newer models. Ceiling fans are throughout the house. Both a gas grill and charcoal grill are provided on the back patio. Location is right across from a beach access plus within walking distance of 3 other beach accesses. It is in the most private area of Anna Maria on the last expanse of the western Gulf Beach. Walk around the corner and you can be on Tampa Bay. This is the best area to fish from the shore, see the manatees, watch the dolphins swim by. It is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants on Anna Maria. You can catch the free trolley from 7AM to 11PM and go anywhere on the island!
