Our vacation home is located right on the beach on South Padre Island. You can relax and have a panoramic view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room and the balcony. There is a second balcony off the Master bedroom that offers views of the town. The condo has a heated pool so it is usable all year long. There are plenty of chairs for lying out in the sun. There are only 14 units in this building, so you are sharing this area with only a few others.
Living Room is spacious and very comfortable. Just right for reading, relaxing, television or just watching the ocean.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities. Plus we have also supplied a George Foreman grill for your grilling pleasure. The kitchen is an open concept and opens into the dining and living room.
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, television, large closet, and chest of drawers. There is a large balcony off the Master Bedroom that over looks the town, great for early morning coffee or evening cocktail to watch the sunset.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet, and chest of drawers. Each bedroom has it’s own private bathroom.
Additional sleeping space is provided in the sofa bed, which is memory foam queen size.
There is a washer and dryer conveniently located on the same floor as our condo.
We love South Padre Island and our Home by the Sea. We hope that you will too. Please come for a visit and return as often as you like.

We stayed at LuAnn's condo for a week in March 2012. It was perfect; a beautiful view of the gulf and easy access to miles of sand and water. The condo was clean and looked just like the pictures. The keyless entry was nice, with five of us we didn't have to worry abouts keys. The deposit was returned very quickly. Thank you LuAnn.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your condo. We had an amazing time and the views cannot be beat. Being able to eat breakfast on the balcony with the sunrise over the water...what a great vacation. The place is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. My 16 year old niece Becca had never seen the ocean....so it had to be a great experience and right on the sand! I could not have picked a better condo, just steps from the water -- we spent hours building castles, collecting shells and body surfing the waves. The condo is beautifully decorated, the pics don't do it justice, very warm and cozy. The kitchen was equippded wonderfully with everything from a toaster to a blender! The beds were very comfortable too. We also felt very safe with security of the Florence II since we were two women traveling alone, even the beach access had a gate with a security code. Thank you Luann for making our trip so special - Becca has her shell collection in that amazing origami box you gave us! PS Don't forget to try the ceviche at the Wanna Wanna Grill just blocks down the beach!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We just stayed here and had a wonderful time. The place is right on the beach, feet away from the sand and water. The building was quite and the other tenets were very nice. Owner is very responsive and very friendly. We will be coming back soon!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Fantastic view of the Gulf! The pictures shown are completely accurate on the views and the condo. The condo was clean and well supplied with all the normal wares needed. Nice touch was a personal note from the owner when we arrived, really cool. The interior furnishings and color scheme were great for a beach condo. All correspondance with the owner was excellent. All questions were answered very quickly. I would recommend this property to family or friends. Two good informational books provided by owner, one on the condo, the other on "things to do" relating to activities and restaurants. We would recommend "Daddy's Cajun and Creole" for the obvious, aslo "Tom and Jerry's Bar & Grill" for a great burger. Some things we did were veg on the beach, dolphin watch tour and fireworks on Friday night and lastly parasailing. Thanks for everything LuAnn!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

My husband and two children stayed at this property in May 2010. The unit was clean and comfortable and the location and view were fabulous. We enjoyed the private pool on the property and the balcony was a great way to people watch and unwind at the end of the day. We would recommend this property to friends and family without hesitation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We are native Texans and SPI has the best beaches in Texas. We love the beauty of the water and the clean sand. We think South Padre Island is a hidden treasure.

There are many things to do on the Island. Our third story unit offers great views up and down the beach. For us when we are there we love long walks on the beach, which is usually after a nice long day of improving the condo.
