This condo is accurately described and highly recommended for the equipped amenities. It is well maintained with modern conveniences of home and centrally located to visit the Tahoe, Reno or surrounding areas. We rented for a ski week that was awesome with perfect weather. Close driving distance that allowed easy access to most of the area ski resorts. The owner was efficient with all necessary communications and very accommodating. I would recommend this rental; hope we get to return and stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great place! I stayed here for three days with my husband and our 2 month old baby and the place was perfect for us. It's a nice and clean apartment and it has all the amenities you need (at least what we needed): internet, parking, TV, fully equipped kitchen, good bathrooms, comfortable beds and a cozy fireplace. It's a 15 minute walk down to the lake/beach and a short drive to Kings beach or Tahoe Vista. A beautiful location!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

Loved it! Quiet location, near King's Beach on North Shore. Easy to get to local commercial areas and surrounding destinations [beaches, bike trails, and road to South Shore or Truckee]. Clean, well furnished, and a GREAT VALUE. Just perfect for 2-3 family members. I'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed in other townhouses at Carnelian Woods in the past and this one is, by far, the nicest! The unit was very clean and comfortable for myself and my two young children during our 9 day ski trip. The kitchen was well equipped and the unit was fully stocked with household supplies. This did not seem like a typical, run down rental unit - rather, it seemed like someone's well-kept vacation home. There were two brand new flat-screen TVs with Dish Network & DVR and an awesome, thermostatically controlled fireplace. The internet worked great. The beds were comfy and all of the towels and linens were high quality. The bathrooms seemed like they were recently renovated. The condo was amazingly quiet and had nice views of the lake and lovely trees. It snowed while were there and the HOA kept the roads clear for our morning drive to the slopes. The location is ideal for its proximity to all of the great North & West Shore ski resorts. Craig, the owner, was very easy to deal with and I look forward to coming back to this unit next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
