Well maintained cottages in a gated resort at Sandbridge Beach, just south of the Boardwalk Area of Virginia Beach. Wide pristine beaches, fishing pier, nature refuge. You can choose to sit on the cottage's deck and read or walk across the street to the beach or sit by one of two pools and so much more.
Lhasa Sunset is a cozy family cottage in Outdoor Resorts of Sandbridge Beach, just south of Virginia Beach's boardwalk area. Lhasa Sunset features 2 bedrooms, queen and double beds. Living,, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
I named this cottage Lhasa Sunset because of the enjoyment of relaxing on the large covered deck and watching the beautiful sunsets over Back Bay. The deck has a large table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a gas grill for outdoor grilling.
The resort has two pools, hot tub, exercise room, laundry rooms and more. Walk to the beach, Little Island park and fishing pier or walk the 1.5 mile paved road around the resort.
You will need to bring your linens and towels, stop on the way for food. EZ driving directions are provided by owner.
New this year are electric low speed vehicles that are rented in Sandbridge. These LSV are legal for driving on the streets of Sandbridge. Leave your car at the cottage, and drive the LSV to ZEST restaurant, Back Bay Refuge, Little Island Park, Sandbridge Market and the wonderful beach stores of Sandbridge.
The owner of Lhasa Cottages lives in the resort and is available to guests for information, help, or just to talk.

Year Purchased: 2000
About the owner: The owner, Beverley, has been vacationing in Sandbridge since the 1970's when the area was a secluded camping Mecca. This was before any development had taken place. First piece of property was bought in 1998 as a place to vacation in our motor home. We fell in love with the resort concept, folks of Sandbridge community. We added other properties over the next 5 years. We have enjoyed renovating each cottage on a 3 year cycle. Keeping everything new and fresh. We sold our motor home in 2009. Now we have out own cottage. Beverley was a member of the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad for years; a member of Sandbridge Civic Association, served on the Mayor's council for Senior Citizens, and is an active participant with the Neptune Festival. Beverley choose to purchase a cottage in Sandbridge to enable families to enjoy nature and its beauty in a safe environment. The owner is a retired science teacher who loves to educate guests on the exciting history of the area as well as the amazing geology and ecological concerns of Back Bay.

By staying at Lhasa Cottages, you are in an individual cottage. No more banging doors of hotel rooms, people noise through walls. Very private and quiet. Guests only have to bring linens, bed and towels, themselves, and food and clothing. Guests enjoy walking around the resort in the evening, watching the magnificent Sunset over Back Bay, sitting, on the boat launch and listening to live music from Baja.
