My husband and I stayed one month at this Dawn Condo. It was very bright and clean and close to all amenities. The owner, Teri, was very gracious and accommodating and answered all inquiries immediately. The grounds and pools were well maintained. Weather was a bit cool , but mainly sunny for the whole month. Everyone we met throughout the Galveston area was very friendly and helpful, especially in the service industries.

My husband and I stayed here with our 16 month old granddaughter and this condo was perfect. It was great being on the first floor so carrying groceries, luggage and her was simplified. There are a few stairs between the parking lot and the front door but these weren't a problem for us. The condo itself was clean, well-maintained and very well equipped. Our mattress was very comfortable. The linens were very nice and there were plenty of towels . The bedroom was large enough for the pack and play crib we brought along. It was great having access to a grassy area for the baby to play in when we weren't out being tourists. One pool in particular( the one further away from the condo)had lots of very shallow area for the baby to toddle around in. The owner even left some menus and other tourism info for us - very hospitable. I would recommend this condo again to my friends and hope to come back soon! On a side note, I would recommend hopping the Bolivar ferry and driving to Crystal Beach - the ride is fun and the sand is better than at the pocket beaches in town. Our favorite meal was at Shrimp n Stuff. We also enjoyed Moody Gardens - we liked the Aquarium more than the Rainforest but that might be because our grandbaby loved the seals and penguins so much. Also, don't miss the tree sculptures in the historic district and LaKing Candy and Ice Cream Shop on the Strand.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. We have rented a condo in the area and this was superior by far. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We only brought our clothes. The view was wonderful and enjoyed relaxing watching the waves. It was a perfect condo for our small dog. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

Teri: During our vacation, Oct 1 to Oct 31 of 2011 we really enjoyed our stay at your galveston unit. Everything was as we expected it and better in most cases. The unit was very clean, tidy and well epuiped. We enjoyed the sunsets on the ocean and the walks on the long, long beach. Walmart is across the street, but we did most of our shopping at Krogers Market (great grocery store). We felt very seccure in the building. The parking lot and grounds are well maintained.

The condo is absolutely great. Feels much bigger than it is. The layout contributes to that. I was actually working the entire time I was there (about 8 weeks) and I set up the dining room table so that I looked out over the ocean all day every day. You cannot do this in Kansas!!! I was on the internet all day every day with my office and the system worked flawlessly. The listing description is truly accurate; the photo's accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. Terri (owner) was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. I would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends and would stay there again myself. It is so close to everything. It was also amazingly quiet -- both of outside noise (it is very close to a busy street) and to the noise of other condos. I know people were in the other units because I saw them but I never heard them. My only complaint was that it was very cloudy and foggy while I was there. But Texas really needed the rain to get out of the drought and I assume that is why it was so cloudy/foggy. I would give it another chance during January/February to make sure it is sunny during that time but I seriously considered buying property there I liked it so much! Oh, and I took my 2 cats and they had a great time too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We stayed for 33 night. It is very comfortable and very easy access anytime of the day. It needs nothing but to walk in and enjoy.It is easy to walk to walmart and there are a number of service stations within a mile of the complex including a varlero and walmart gas. It is very clean and the view of the surf from the patio door is spectacular. The owner responded almost immediately to every inquiry. Except for hooking up the internet all the information I needed was in the lease agreement had I remembered it was there but she cheerfully told me what I needed again. Terri, We loved the condo! We had a wonderful vacation. Condo is very clean and perfect size for a small family and dog. The condo complex and pools are beautiful and well kept. Condo is located close to everything resturants, gas, grocery and attractions. I would definately recommend the Dawn and hope to visit again soon.

Great condo, great location and perfect for having a pet along with you. The comlpex and condo was very beautiful, clean and very well maintained. Would recommend this condo for anyone and already checking our calander to see when we can return. Can't say enough about Teri, what a wonderful, caring person she is and a true delight to deal with. You will leave as we did, having had a great time and completely satisfied.
