  The house had more than ample space and privacy for our group of eight! Keith was awesome to work with and I really appreciated his checking in on us making sure we found everything ok upon arrival. The location and the private beach were a huge plus along with the beautiful house! All of the gate attendants were helpful and nice. I really cannot say enough.... We will rent Lighthouse again hopefully sooner than later! Thanks again!!

  We had 25 family members from 5 states ranging in age from 84 years to 6 months get together for a family vacation in Destin.The first property we rented was a gulf front home in Destiny-By-the-Sea, but had so many people plan to attend that we needed to rent a second property as well. Keith could not have been more accomodating. He was easily accessible by phone and promptly answered any questions we had. The Sandcastle was beautiful and easily accomodated our extra guests. The beachy decor and cheerful colors allowed us to start our R & R as soon as we walked through the door! The pool was actually much larger than the one included with the gulf front home and had more hours of sunlight for the snowbirds in our crew to work on their tans. The teens and twenty somethings in our group enjoyed the parasailing available a few steps down the beach and all of us enjoyed being able to spend time with folks we don't get to see very often in a clean, comfortable home. The emailing and texting to plan the next vacation began in the cars as we left Destin. We appreciate Keith sharing his home with us and look forward to returning.

  I have stayed in Destiny by the Sea for spring break during the last five years - and have stayed in a number of different houses. This neighborhood is without question the best choice for discerning vacationers. The Destiny's Lighthouse house was extremely clean (cleanest I have ever seen for a rental home) and ideally located for access to pool and ocean. I would highly recommend this home to any interested parties.

  Thanks Keith for sharing your home. We were amazed at the size of the bedrooms, so much space and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The house is very well maintained. The entire family enjoyed the private pool as well as visiting the community pool where our little ones were able to meet and make new friends. The golf cart is an added bonus as it gives hours of entertaining the little ones as well. The walk to the beach is minimal. The beaches were clean and all the upgrades Destin has made to its city are wonderful. It truly is a vacation paradise! The community of Destiny-by-the-Sea is a wonderful place; everyone is friendly and helpful and the surroundings are beautiful. Our nightly "run" to Shakes for ice cream has all ready been missed. Your house felt like home and we all agreed this vacation was one of the best! Thanks again!

  We stayed at the Lighthouse May 15-22, 2010 and had a great time! We had 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 5 children and had privacy for each family. The bottom floor has one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and another bedroom with a queen size bed. This took care of all our children except for infant who slept with parents in master suite on 3rd floor. The pool was an added attraction to all the kids! It was the perfect solution for children early in the a.m. and late at night when adults just wanted to relax. Overall, it was a great place to stay close to beach and large swimming pool in area as well. We enjoyed all the nearby restaurants, shopping, attractions, golfing, etc. We all enjoyed it and just wish we could be back now! Looking forward to next year!

  We stayed at Destiny's Lighthouse over Spring Break and had a fabulous time. The house was amazing and booking with the owner was a treat! The architectural detail and the bright tasteful decorating made me feel like I was sitting in a South Beach Mansion. The personal touches and eclectic art provide a warm comfortable feel. The house is very large and easily accommodated my party of 9 with plenty of private separate space on the 3 floors. The beach is a very short walk and the golf cart was very nice to carry chairs and beach stuff. The private pool was a great place to relax and sit in the evening or read a book in the day. The pool lights at night reflect off the glass block walls and give an amazing effect. The quiet gated neighborhood and private beach make this an awesome getaway with all Destin has to offer right outside the gates. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great house at the beach in Destin! Thank you for a great week. We will be back!!!
