Aloe Woods Gardens was like our own private home in Aruba. The gated setting just a few miles from the beach and both the Low Rise and High Rise Hotel districts gave us privacy when we wanted it and easy access to all the activities the island has to offer. The condo was a little tight in the living room but the bedrooms, baths, kitchen and dining area were ample size for our party of 4 adults. Could use some oven and microwave cookware but all other kitchen ware was more than sufficient. Alex and Albert were very responsive to a couple of minor inconveniences and were pleasant to deal with.Recommended for: Age 55+.

My wife and parents stayed here for a week and loved it. You are 10-15 minutes from the high rise beaches or Oranjestad. There is a grocery store about 2 minutes away and they have everything you need to cook or grill. The place is big, clean and has a wonderful area to sit on the porch or over by the pool. Our only problem was with the keys to the place. They gave us the wrong keys at check-in and when we returned the first night and found out our keys didn't work we were a little frustrated. Once corrected, everything else was perfect. Would have given it 5 stars but that was a real pain the first night trying to get into our own place to go to bed. Thank goodness someone was staying at the house on the location willing to lend me their phone. Overall, great place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
