The location is excellent. Easy access to wonderful bakery, small grocery store, restaurants, metro, the Seine, the Louvre. We were met upon our arrival by Connie, who showed us around and explained how to work the various appliances. Washer/dryer is a combination unit so it takes a long time to wash or dry (they have drying lines in the bathroom that they suggest that we use. I wouldn't want to use the washer for heavy items like jeans just because of the time involved, but it worked well for underclothes and socks and other light items. The ceiling over the shower is only about 5 ft 9 or 10 inches, so my tall husband had to sit in the bathtub to take a shower, but it worked and he didn't complain. We didn't have trouble with running out of hot water, but we also didn't run the water before the shower (the hot water was there within seconds) and we didn't use the water full force. We mainly used the kitchen for breakfasts. The kitchen had everything we needed, except for flour which I wanted to use a little of for thickening. The floor and the stairs squeaked so very light sleepers might find it difficult but after full days of walking around Paris, we had no difficulty sleeping. I would definitely consider staying here again and for a longer time. We had a wonderful time and part of our enjoyment was because we stayed in such a homey place.

My husband and I have rented apartments in Paris many times, but this is our favorite. Absolutely centrally located, it is has a much higher level of style than most - really nice prints on the wall, comfortable furniture, extremely well-equipped kitchen. The description and photos are appealing and accurate, and we found everything to be as described. The loft area has an extremely low ceiling, but this was not a problem for us - the living room, kitchen and bedroom provided plenty of space for two people. The apartment is three stories up - but the stairs are broad, well-lit, and not a problem for us, though we are old (ish). The location is wonderful - easy access to everything, and it was a pleasure to just slip downstairs in the morning to buy our breakfast at the boulangerie on the ground floor! I would certainly recommend this apartment, and hope to return myself.

I cannot say enough about our visit or about Connie!! The location was awesome!! We utilized the Metro stations, the bakery and grocery downstairs, the nearby restaurants, everything!! The Louvre is 2 blocks away!! The apartment was anything you need, and more. During our first night I was awakened to someone in the apartments singing opera which was like a dream - in the best way!!! I loved this apartment, and just hope for the opportunity to stay again. Connie can do anything you need and more! What an asset. I chose this apartment at the last minute because it was the only one available, but I would chose it again and again!!! Yes you have to drag bags up that beautiful, antique staircase, and yes that loft is really only good for kids or short people, but you are in Paris and it is all worth it!!!

My booking went relatively easy and straightforward and Connie the housekeeper arranged for pickup from Beauvais (which is not so bad actually). we arrived just before midnight and of course had to drag all our suitcases the 3 flight of stairs...unfortunately, we don't travel light..so my advise...pack as little as possible..don't be like us! The apartment was wonderful and warm! Very charming and full of character. The kitchen is full of spices and whatever you need to cook..either for a simple meal or a grand one!the apartment is very, very clean and I think Connie takes pride in that..There were 4 of us. My sister and I slept in the bedroom and our boys on the sofabed on the mezzanine. The stairs to the mezzanine was a bit precarious but OK for the boys. My only complaint was the probably the size of the hot water tank. The hot water was just enough for 2 people and the other two had to take freezing cold shower. We quickly learned to ration the hot water so everybody will have comfortable hot showers :) Anyways, the apartment is really central and very near Rue Montorgueil and other shopping areas in Paris...the apartment is really popular so book early!

This is a very nice and quiet apartment with a perfect location. The rooms look exactly as depicted. Not modern but rather romantic. The heating system is more than enough to warm it up in the winter. The main bed is really comfortable. The sofa upstairs is not so good - but will be OK for children or young couples (some ladder climbing is needed to reach the mezzanine). The kitchen is stuffed with different cooking appliances. Maps of Paris and brochures from many museums are available, including the program of the National Opera. A lot of stores, small shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The people who arrange the stay are really likable and friendly. Please expect that you will have to lift your bags upstairs to the third floor.

It was wonderful to come back to a cool, quiet apartment each evening, put up our feet and relax. We loved the kitchen and all the cookware. We enjoyed many meals in the apartment, as well as out. The shower was good, loved the washer/dryer combo. The living area was comfy. Loved the free calling to land lines. The bedroom was roomy but had trouble locking the door. We will recommend this apartment to friends and family. Great location! Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

The assistance and hospitality was 2nd to none. A wonderful arrival and the help in orienting myself and my mom was fantastic. The flat has been great to stay in. Comfortable, central to all the places we wanted to see. A fantastic finish to our trip. Thank you for that. Have no hesitation in recommending to friends and certainly will use again ( if available ) next time.
