Q: I've been to Punta Can but never heard of Cap Cana, where is it?
A: Cap Cana is a luxury/upscale private, gated community consisting of 30,000 acres. In Cap Cana you will find luxury condos (Aquamarina among them), boutique hotels, fine dinning , largest inland marina, Punta Espada golf course (one of the best in the Caribbean)
Q: Is condo on the beach? How far is the beach and pool
A: No, condo faces the marina (marina front), main beach and pools are only a short 3 minute walk,
Q: How far are the restaurants from unit?
A: There are 4 fine dinning restaurants within a short 5 minute walk, they include Italian, Seafood, Mediterranean and Asian. Other restaurants at the Santuary hotels (3 minutes by shuttle or car), they include Japanese, Steak house, seafood and Italian. If you wish, you can have pizza or Mexican food delivered to unit.
Q: How far is the grocery store/supermarket?
A: Tere is a small grocery store within a 5 minute walk (for basic supplies) and a larger supermarket within by car, you can also find wines and liquor at this location.
Q: How far is the airport?
A: Punta Cana airport is only a short 10 minute car ride from condo
Q: Do I need to rent a car?
A: It is highly recommended you rent a car in order to go site seeing, grocery shopping etc. The average rental for the week is approximately $275

A: Yes, you can get a full time/ part time maid services during your stay in addition, she can cook local dishes upon your request. Please inquire on pricing and option. This is important and cost effective for larger groups or families with children.

A: Spanish is the local language, however some establishments may speak and understand English, for your conv, our concierge/property manager is very fluent in English

A: Beaches have very small waves and there is a children pool that is very shallow, both very safe.

A: condos beach and 2 pools are large for the complex and always uncrowded, you will only se a handful of guest at these location at any given time, vendors are prohibited from selling anything at these common areas, this makes it more enjoyable and more private

A: Yes, there are 2 additional beaches in area and within a short free shuttle ride, Juanillo beach(free)and Club Caleton beach club (fee applies) .Both excellent beaches and have restaurants at beach

A: Yes, you can bring your fishing gear and fish at several locations within walking distance of condo, if you like going out to sea, you can charter a boat equipped with captain and fishing gear for 1/2 day or full day.

My family and I enjoyed a memorable vacation over New Years at this incredible Aquamarina Condo in Cap Cana. I chose this particular condo because I believed it was spacious(huge bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, and patio) well equipped(gourmet kitchen with all appliances), great view(expansive marina view surrounded by varied architectural buildings) and good value(wireless internet, international calling, bikes, shuttle to golf and shopping, full time concierge, and daily maid service). The result? A vacation that my husband, children and I all agree was great and well worth it. The owner, Roger, spent a great deal of time explaining the area and things to do. Francisco, the concierge greeted us upon arrival at the Aquamarina Lobby, escorted us to the condo and filled us in on the shops, restaurants and activities in the area. Francisco introduced us to Lidia, our maid for the week. Lidia turned out to be an incredible cook and my family was able to have some delicious meals without the hassle of preparing, cooking and cleaning up(What a treat! First time I had my own personal chef) I had reserved a car so we could explore the area, but the car rental company over-booked during the New Year Holiday and we were promised a car on the second day. However, as soon as Roger and Francisco heard about our predicament, they both had some personal contacts to help us book a car. But our car rental company did come through on day 2 and Francisco actually drove my husband back to the airport to pick up the rental car rather than taking a cab. Personal service and attention to detail; how could we not have a great vacation? The beach is a short walk and you could either stroll along the marina or meander along a flower covered pergola path. There are a couple of restaurants, shops, spa, health club, and even a pizzeria that also serves gelato within walking distance. There are 2 hot tubs and 2 infinity pools overlooking the white sand, palm lined beach. My son went fishing at a few places that Francisco had pointed out. My daughter and I rode bikes around the community. We went to dinner at the Blue Marlin Restaurant overlooking the ocean and the food was very good and worth mentioning. We drove to Bavaro and shopped a bit. And we went to the Hard Rock Casino for an evening out. I highly recommend this condo. Convenient apartment located in the Cap Cana Marina. It has two large and comfortable bedrooms each with a private bath. The community is very pleasant, safe and well mantained. I'll highly recommend renting a vehicle so you can easily buy groceries, go to the beach etc. The cost of the car with gas for a week is only $270. The restaurants @ capcana are not cheap but the food and the attention you received is top class. Especial thanks to Jerry the owner it made this experience very smooth.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My wife, college age daughter and I spent Christmas 2010 here and it was fantastic. The listing describes it perfectly and the apartment and its furnishings are in white glove condition. We can be "picky" travelers and everything was great. While you can easily walk to the pool, beach, restaurants, bars and shops, you probably want to have a rental car to get around to other spots. The Secrets Resort has some nice places to eat too, but be sure to make dinner reservations (and get then name of who you make them with). If you are a golfer, Punta Espada is a world class course and you are next door to two great courses in the Punta Cana Resort. The owner - Jerry - could not have been more helpful to deal with and gave us great hints and pointers about our first visit to Punta Cana. He was especially helpful when the blizzard in NYC caused our flight home to be canceled - twice! We would go back in a heartbeat and could not recommend it more highly.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I rented this property with my family and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was very well located in the Marina with an amazing view to the dock and sea. We would very much recommend for anyone looking for a great vacation at a superb location and at a very good price. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Stayed with my husband and my 2 kids over a weekend June 2010. The property has everything needed, it is simple, yet complete. The location is great, right in the marina, with an outstanding view. Rented a Golf Cart, went to the beach, pool, restaurants, the kids were excited! The apartment has everything we needed, and the people that were in charge were just great. Highly recommend it for the price.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
