You can't beat the location of this beautiful 4 bedroom home overlooking a mountain pond, the ski slopes and along the Red River. Enjoy coffee or a sunset on one of two master suites with balconies and breathtaking views or take a stroll around the corner for shopping, dining and entertainment on historic Main Street. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated with gorgeous southwest art, alpine inspired furnishings and great mattresses.
The large living room is great for family gatherings with a wood burning fireplace and a huge stone hearth for warming up after a day on the mountain. (all wood is provided) You can also enjoy a large flat screen television, DVD player, games and a large selection of books including Red River history.
The open dining room has a large beautiful wood table for family meals and is open to a completely stocked kitchen.
Kitchen:
The owners have furnished everything you could possibly need for the kitchen w/ new quart countertops and breakfast bar. From an Espresso maker to a waffle iron, you are sure to have everything you need and plenty of space to prepare and serve great family meals. Features of the kitchen include a breakfast bar, tiled floors, new stainless steel appliances, pantry, great pots/pans, plenty of dishes and back door that opens to a court yard that extends to the Red River with BBQ grills, picnic tables and views of the ski area.
The first floor has a pretty tiled bathroom with a walk in shower and a bedroom for guests that don't want to climb stairs. (We have a stool for elderly or tired guests. ) The bedroom has recently been painted and boasts a television,large closet, new full and twin beds and great views of the slopes.
Two Master Suites w/ Balconies:
The second level of the home boasts another three bedrooms, including two master suites and a washer and dryer. The first Master Suite has a television, large dresser and closet, vaulted ceilings, a beautiful queen log bed with nice linens and a great mattress. The master suite also boasts roomy full size bathroom and french doors that open to a private balcony with table and chairs and great sunset views.
The second Master Suite features a king size log bed with new pillow top mattress, vaulted ceiling, cable t.v., a private bathroom and a covered balcony with spectacular views of the ski area.
The fourth bedroom has a new queen bed, a twin bed and a big full bathroom.
Location and Amenities:
Claim Jumper Townhouse #22 offers guests a stocked pond directly next to the townhouse, a picnic area, swings along the Red River, plenty of river frontage for fishing or just relaxing and a courtyard with BBQ grills for outdoor entertainment. The townhouse is nestled between the Red River and the Red River fishing pond in addition to being convenient to town activities, event, shopping and restaurants.

We have been going to Red River for a few years now and have stayed at multiple places but this by far was the best place to stay. The condo was spacious and the location was perfect. We normally would have to pack up all of our skies, drive to the slope, unpack, and still walk. This condo was a 5 minute walk to ski and we were able to easily run back for lunch and then head back out to the slopes. I highly recommend this location and we will be back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This was our first visit to Red River and the best part about it was convenience. We have 3 children and getting everyone to the slopes can be a challenge. This condo has a ski lift that takes you high up on the mountain and it is located about 20 steps out the back door. Great location if your children can already ski. If you need to go to the ski school, bunny hill, or ski rental place, it is about a 100 yard walk...still very do-able (or you can drive the 100 yards). Also, the main street through town is right out your back door, so no need to pile everyone in a car to go to dinner...just walk down the street until you find something you like. Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful time Staying in this cabin right across from the mountain. We are so excited to have found a spot that we can continue to spend many more vacations. It was so clean and in a great location. This huge home boasts one of the best locations available slope side in Red River, New Mexico. It sits right next to the new Platinum chair lift and the famous Torchlight Parade. Take a break while skiing and hang out, have lunch or just relax in this beautiful home. It is also located along the Red River and the Red River fishing pond.
