Sweet, clean cottage
Sweet, clean cottage
We just returned from a weekend trip to Northeast. Our stay was great--the house was tiny but cozy and clean. The property is neatly kept and the view of Lake Erie from the yard is spectacular. The inviting scent from the vineyard across the street makes you want to visit the local wineries. The town is small but unspoiled. The restaurants, shops, and produce market were great and the employees friendly and helpful. Lovely part of the state to visit.

When booking on-line you sometimes end up very disappointed but this was a fantastic find. It was everything wonderful that I had imagined. The owners were very wonderful and kind. The place is better in person. Very clean and well equipped. Tastefully done. My daughter loved playing in the yard. I, my husband and daughter really like the owners. Fantastic hospitality!!!! We will be back for another stay! PS. The town of North East is adorable!!!

We found this property on VRBO, having never been to the area, so it felt like a crap shoot. But everything went perfectly. The owner Leonidas, provided excellent service before and after our stay. The cottage is as its represented, clean, airy, nicely furnished...even better in person. Spotless, and with lovely bathroom amenities. The view of Lake Erie sunsets on the property were breathtaking. It's right across the street from one of the many vineyards in the area. The town of North East nearby has lots of good places to eat, shop, and grab a cup of coffee. We took a day trip to the Chautauqua Institute, which was wonderful, then we were glad to return to the lovely cottage. We'd stay there again, and highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic rental for my husband and I. The location is great for visiting wineries and the Lake. The owners are very friendly and provide lots of great advice. The unit is clean and the perfect size for 2-4. The grounds are gorgeous a very well-maintained. We hope to return again.

This was the best vacation my husband & I had. The cottage was clean and cozy. The photos show the cottage just the way it is. The owners went out of their way to make sure our vacation was perfect. We were there during the wine festival and that was great. I would recommend this cottage to everyone. Plenty activities and attractions. We were so pleased we booked the cottage for next year. The sunsets were awesome and sitting on the deck was so relaxing.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: Myself Leonidas and Richard, the other owner of the property, are hard working people in big cities that found the town of North East and fell in love with its nature and beauty.
Why the Owner Chose North East:
We bought this property in order to enjoy the views of water and nature. We fixed it and decorated it and we are happy seeing our guests discovering the beauties we discovered earlier. If you look at the water from your deck , you have to know it is a lake , otherwise you think the ocean is in front of you
The Unique Benefits at this House:
North East is a small town, quiet and with the most beautiful and polite people you can find. Still you are close to big cities , like Erie, Pittsburgh or Buffalo. Within minutes or the most 2 hours you can be in this beauty of North East and all you can desire. Water activities, biking, wineries, casino. If you are a writer, a poet or a painter, we are sure you you can get inspired. If you just want to get away, come and stay in this house, enjoy sunsets and grill great seafood. If you want theater, concerts just take a drive to Lake Chautauqua (15 minutes away).
