We took a chance on this one since there were no prior reviews and it was being rented through a management company. (I've had better experiences directly with owners). We had a number of issues: 1. Fleas and bugs - if you rent this place, be sure it has been visited by an exterminator prior to your visit. Our legs were covered with flea bites! 2. Upstairs shared bath - tub / shower drains extremely slow. This was not fixed during our visit. 3. Air conditioning broke and leaked through the ceiling. This was quickly fixed while we were there. 4. Many stains on the carpets - dining chairs in need of replacement. 5. Weber-style grill was very rusty. 6. The king bedroom shares a bathroom with the upstairs room containing the two queens. This isn't obvious in the pictures/description. Also, there is no door between the master bedroom and the bathroom (there is a door to the shared toilet/shower). 7. There was no vacuum cleaner - the rental agency said it was being repaired and would not bring a replacement. One finally arrived the day before we were to leave however it never worked. The price was high given the condition, quality of furniture, and problems we experienced. That said the location is perfect as it is located on a quiet dead-end street near the end of the island. If these issues were addressed and rented by the owner, we would consider renting this house again next year. It's ideal for two families with kids.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.
