Chalet Le Wapiti is an incredible vacation stay to enjoy. It is 1800 meters high in Les Collons, a small village near Sion. (170 km from Geneva). It has an exquisite view of the Swiss Alps from every room.
The chalet is truly amazing as it is fully furnished and decorated. It is available for family and friends for holiday rental for an extraordinary experience in any season.
In the winter, you can enjoy 425 km ski runs and enjoy the various nice mountain restaurants. The area is snow sure. The small village offers a Delifrance, 2 supermarkets, some restaurants , ski school and ski and snowboard shops, which rents any attire and such needed.
This amazing chalet is not only available in the winter time. When all the snow has cleared, it reveals a wonderfully grassy mountain. The temperatures are fantastic, as there is a lot of sun and a lovely cool breeze. The mountain offers a variety of sports. There is hiking, golf, city trips, mountain biking and much more. There is an endless number of things to do. A great tip for the family is tree top climbing - a great experience especially for kids.

Everything about our stay at the Wapiti Chalet was perfect. The children had a tremendous time on the absolutely fabulous ski slopes that surround Les Colons and coming back to the chalet, which is decorated with so much taste, care and warmth made our afternoons and evenings really enjoyable. The kitchen is very well appointed and the rooms are cosy yet roomy and the living area has the perfect atmosphere with a lovely fire place and stunning views of the Matahorn – cant wait to stay there for a summer holiday. The location is perfect and as described - it is useful to have a car just to explore the area. Jan 2012Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
