When we arrived the condo was very clean, and had a real home feel about it. The air conditioning unit had a glitch and with Easter being the following day we were without A/C for two days. However, Tina was absolutely wonderful during the whole ordeal. We usually run the entire time we are on vacation, but with everything this condo had to offer we stayed put practically the whole vacation. Very RELAXING!!! We did go to Busch Gardens one day but overall why leave? We loved the area (close distance to several different kinds of restaurants, Hershey's Ice Cream and Slyce Pizza) with everything within walking distance. I have four children ages 19, 15, 14 and 9 and everyone had a wonderful time. The kids kept wanting to make sure that we came back again next year. I would highly recommend this condo. Loved the way Tina made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. She truly makes you feel part of her family. She also has everything you need there. Thanks again for allowing us to stay.

Perfect beach vacation

Such a great spot for a vacation. We were there for a week with a 2 and 4 year old and the setup was perfect. The condo is clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved to be able to eat on the patio overlooking the ocean and to fall asleep with the sounds of the waves through the patio door in the master bedroom. The kids loved the pool. I enjoyed amazing morning jogs on the beach. The beach is perfect for walking, relaxing or hunting for seashells. We loved that it was not crowded and felt like we had our own beach. The hosts are available to help as needed and this was appreciated. Hope to go back one day !

Spring Break 2012...a family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything we were expecting through the listing was true! The property was clean and well kept with the added special touches the owner left for us! We will recommend this property to our family and friends only if they promise not to try to steel our re bookings! We found the atmosphere perfect for a laid back and relaxing week with the added bonus of being able to find the excitement of a little more active fun not too far away. The dolphins were out everyday and fun to watch from our balcony! The beach was clean at all times and the people around us were especially nice! The bird watching was wonderful as well! I cannot say enough about this place!

My family could not be happier with our choice. We planned this vacation last minute and the owner was amazing in working with us to make it come together. The condo is clean and spacious and the pictures don't do it justice. Tina is so helpful and gracious. We had everything we could need at our fingertips. The view is amazing and the pool was perfect. We could walk into town to eat or get ice cream or a short drive to Clearwater or Johns Pass. You will not be disappointed!

My husband Dave and I would like to thank Tina for sharing her condo/home with us. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of champagne (it was New Years day) party hats and a box of chocoloates. We enjoyed the nice bed linnens with an awesome soft blanket. Slept every night with our sliding glass door open in the master bedroom listening to the beautiful ocean waves outside. We used both balconies every day and the private stairs to the pool and beach(this is an awesome feature). There was a bird that came to visit everyday on the front balcony, we named him Donald Sutherland, there was a strong resemblance. The dolphins were plentiful..We also enjoyed fishing off the private dock and off the shore line in the ocean. There is a kayak for all to use at the condo as well. During our month stay the condo association made some upgrades to the landscaping out front(nicely done), while all the railings were scheduled to be replaced. The pool is salt and warm. I used the pool, but my husband is a beach kind of guy. Just steps from the condo and we were in our new beach chairs (provided by Tina) enjoying the view, sun and sand. We had our family and friends in and out and they all loved the condo. The location is perfect, you can walk, take a shuttle, call a cab or drive to Keegans, Crabby Bill's or Pj's for oysters. The inside of the condo and the layout we loved. The flat screen tv in the living room was a nice touch. Our children (24 and 25) with our grandsons had a fantastic time..Tina had everything we needed for our two grandchildren 4 months and 5 years old. Pac-n-play, height chair, games, beach toys and buckets. My in-laws which are 81 spent 10 days with us. My father-in-law has braces on his legs and walks with a cane. They were able to easily access everything, the condo,pool and beach. The location and condo was very quiet and relaxing. We met so many nice people during our stay that we are still friends with now and planning on vacationing together again in 2013. We have booked again for the month of January and we are already counting down the days. Thanks for everything Tina, we had a great time!!!! Dave and Betty

This condo is a great place to stay. My girlfriends and I have been staying at this condo for 5 years now. Tina and John always make us feel like part of their family. Always nice little surprises upon our arrival. Great area to stay for the young and old alike. Lost of places in walking distance. Also, there is the trolley. Great way to get around without the hassle of driving. I highly recommend this property to anyone I know.

Dear John and Tina - just wanted you to know that our family had a wonderful stay at your condo the 2nd week of May, 2011! The weather was perfect and the location ideal - we love being in a quiet area, but not too far away from Clearwater or St Pete. The condo is as pictured and was clean and homey and John and Tina couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. And having all the baby things there was so convenient! We have been telling our friends and family about it, so, Tina, you may be getting some calls! Also, we highly recommend the Lighthouse Donut shop not far from the condo - try the Key Lime filled donuts - AWESOME! And Keegan's Seafood Grille (a Diners, Drive-ins and Dive pick) was a wonderful choice for lunch or dinner. We hope to be back next year!

Third Year at Footprints

April 2011 was our third stay at Footprints but our first time staying for two weeks. Wonderful, relaxing vacation at a place that feels like home. We love the location - short drive from the airport, great views from either balcony, fun restaurant/bars within walking distance, a pool and quiet beach right out the back door. Our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter joined us for the second week. The condo easily accommodates our family and allows for all of us to have our own space. Our granddaughter's favorite thing to do that week was to play in the pool. Thanks, Tina and John, for surprising her with an Easter basket. She loves Tootsie Rolls! And if you ordered up that perfect beach weather, thanks for that as well! It was a fun and memorable time, making it hard to be back at work.

Our 2nd stay in 2011!

What a great time and a great property! We've stayed at several properties in this area and this place has it all! Our spring break here with our 2 teens was perfect! Hard to leave! We loved the front & rear balconies and their views, lot's of room for us all to have our space and be comfortable. Our weather in late March was ideal every day, mid 80's, no rain, cloudless skies, light gulf breezes and lots of sunshine! We love the beautiful, quiet, uncrowded beach and proximity to great local seafood restaurants. We loved the private fishing pier (I actually caught a fish!), the beautiful sunset views and when our beach days were done, the unit felt like home! I almost cried when my 15 year old daughter and I were watching the "super moon" rise over the inter-coastal and she turned to me and said "Daddy, I love this place!" O.K., I did cry, just a little! Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us for (3) three weeks starting with Feb 19 to March 12, 2011. Thanks for all the things you did for us before and during our stay in yourwonderful condo. Enjoyed the room of your 3 bedroom and well supplied Kitchen. I enjoyed watching the sun raise and set from different balconies in the condo. We had perfect while in Florida that was arranged by Tina. Also checking to make sure everything was A-ok. Wow...super views...plus watching the Dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. It was great getting away from the Wisconsin winter. Barbara & Tom Wisconsin

Had a very nice time , the weather was great, the kids loved the pool . everything u needed was in the condo and the condo was very clean Tina and John ( the owners) were there when we arrived and helped with the lugage,Tina explained everything about the condo . The rooms are very nice the beds are comfortable the area has some nice places to eat or drink ,pjs has great ribs and shrimp, good oysters ang very reasonable prices. all in all its a great place!

Best Vacation in Indian Rocks Beach so far!

We decided to upgrade to a larger condo this year as we now need three bedrooms. We were hesitant as we had stayed at another small complex for the last 5 years and were very happy with that one. From our first conversation with Tina we were very comfortable with the change. When we arrived we were met by Tina and John...what can I say other than they immediately made us feel so welcome! When we opened the door we immediately realized the pictures did not do the unit justice, it was much more than we were expecting. My mother-in-law's first comment was, "I could live here." Need I say any more with a comment like that. The unit has plenty of room and you do not feel croweded like some units. Back to Tina and John who have to be the most wonderful hosts...they took time out of their busy day to simply talk with us and make sure everything was just right for us. We were pleasantly surprised with a great welcome basket for the adults and kids which was a first for us. Just goes to show Tina and John truly care more about the personal aspects of their guests more than any other host we have had. The two balconies were to die for! We used both the entire stay, watched boats with the kids on the intercoastal and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the Gulf balcony. My wife loved having private access to the pool via our balcony. This is so nice as you go directly from the balcony to the pool without having to use elevator. The pool was never crowded even though we were there on holiday weekend. The beach was great and uncrowded as usual. If you are condidering this condo for rental, book it now as you will not regret it. This unit is great for families with kids and for the first time we did not have to pack up tons of beach and pool toys to take with us...these were all provided as well as lots of great board games and puzzles. To sum this review up...thank you Tina and John for sharing your wonderful condo with us and treating us like we were part of your family. You made this the best vacation we have enjoyed in Indian Rocks Beach so far...thank you and God bless you and your family!

Tina & John, Thanks for letting us stay in your great condo. The weather was nice and what beautiful sunsets! The condo was very roomy and comfortable for 6 people. We all enjoyed the great beach (especially the granddaughter.) Walking down the beach in the morning and at sunset was a popular activity. Your home was as you described it and the pictures were right on. The condo was clean and very inviting. We really appreciated the parking being so close to the elevator also. Thanks for all your friendly help Tina and we would love to come down and put our Footprints in the Sand again!!

Dear Tina, Just a note to say how very much we enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. Truly a perfect space to relax and unwind from the routine of life. Each day after returning from our outings, Lucy would say "home" as we stepped off the elevator and into the entry. We certainly did feel at home. Each of us will treasure the memories of Lucy's first time on the beach (I think we heard the word, "water," at least 100 times that week). She loved playing with bubbles on the balcony, and running back and forth between the kitchen and the living room. She slept peacefully each night in the blue bedroom with her new monkey. We took her to the zoo in Tampa and the aquarium in Clearwater. She was the star of the show one night as she danced to the live music at My Place on the Beach. As for the rest of us, Emily and I loved running on the beach in the morning. Luke got in an afternoon of golf. Jim and Luke saw a manatee in the gulf. Each couple enjoyed a "date night," Jim and I ate at Guppy's and Emily and Luke ate at the Pub. We loved playing cards on the balcony. Luke and I were victorious! IT WAS A PERFECT VACATION, MANY "PRICELESS" MOMENTS. We are definitely thinking of a return visit. Thank you for opening your home to us. Warmly, Carol

This is our second time staying at Footprints and we plan on returning each year! It is a wonderful layout for our family and we enjoy the cleanliness of the place, location, and size of West Coast Vista. Tina, the owner, is a pleasure to work with-always making sure we are taken care of and checks on us periodically throughout the week. We have four children and it is so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and watch them at the pool and on the beach. The pictures definately do not do justice to this unit. Being able to sit on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset while listening and watching the waves crash is a must! Whether you make meals in the kitchen or eat out at many of the local restaurants-many within walking distance-you will definately enjoy staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Footprints and will be returning each year!

Tina, John and Family Once again I had such a blessed and wonderful time at your condo. The month went by way to fast!! It is such a relaxing home away from home, and the month I had with my father, and sister and the time I had when my son and brother joined us are beyond precious. I saw a total of 83 dolphins while we were there and the last one was just as exciting as seeing the first one. This was our second visit to your place and I look forward to seeing you again in July 2009 for another month of luxury and complete relaxation. We cannot put into words the beauty and peace that surrounds you in this vacation hideaway. We chose the name Footprints Vacation Hideway because that is exactly what it is. Each day promises a new experience. Not only the beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water, but the magnificent sunsets and sealife which are seen from both balconies are unbelievable! Last time we were there we saw a manatee - every time we are there we see dolphins both on the gulf and the intracoastal. We truly love our home away from home and extend a warm welcome to all our guests. We try our best to make it feel like home away from home and many of our guests return year after year. We would love to answer any questions you may have about our condo. It is truly our dream beach home and a tremendous blessing which we would like to share with others.
