Me an my family spent about two weeks at the Pont Vasco Da Gama apartment; it really felt like home! What we liked was the way the rooms are organised in the apartment, and they way it was decorated. Also all of the necessary appliances that we use at home were present and readily available; dishwasher, washing machine, shaker, toaster, nespresso coffee machine and much more. For the rainy days there was the DVD-player, audio set, a big flatscreen and a television receiver with lots of channels. For the good weather days a bus stop is only a 5 minute walk or you can walk through a nice maintained park towards expo 98 city centre (20 minute walk, huge shopping center, metro, train, aquarium, musea, casino, modern art etc.). The best thing was the service of the owner; very helpful (he helped us with some baby assets that we needed so that we didn't have to carry that with us from home), fresh coffee and lots of information.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
