  My wife and I rented this cottage for the week during our vacation to Maine. We have 3 children ages 9, 8 and 6. This cottage was the perfect size for our family. My wife and I had our own room with 1/2 bath. My daughter had her own room with a double bed, and my two boys slept in the room with two twin beds. Everything that you needed for the week was in the cottage, from plates, glasses & corkscrews (for the evenings of wine and games on the front porch) to boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. There is a grill to make steaks outside, and a large lobster pot to cook lobsters inside. The location was great. It was a short drive to either Nubble Light or Short Sands, and it was very quiet at night. My wife and I sat outside on the patio to watch the Perseid Meteor shower as it was dark enough to see the view. If you have a small family like ours, and are looking for an affordable place to spend a week, this place comes highly recommended by my family. My kids are already asking me if we can rent again next year and we just got back 2 days ago.

  This is the second time my family has stayed at this adorable Nubble cottage for 2 weeks. It has everything that you will need for a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation . We love that it is only a very short walk to the Nubble light house and about 10-15 minute walk to short or long sands beaches and town .. It really is very central to everything and that is why my 2 teenagers love it. You will not be disappointed with your stay here .. Beds are comfy and air conditioning is a plus for those hot and humid days . Kitchen is perfect for the nights you want to eat in .It is very clean and well cared for . Owners are very responsive and do everything to make sure that you are happy with your stay.. We love it and can't wait to go back

  We had the perfect vacation at the Nubble Cottage. It was clean, comfy and in such a great location. Very quiet neighborhood and the perfect distance to walk to to the beach and get in a good workout in the morning! There really is only room for two cars so if you bring two like I did and you want to have a guest come visit for a day you need to plan ahead for that. Other than that we can't wait to book again next year!

  This charming cottage was just perfect for our relaxing vacation. The location was out of the way and yet very convenient to do some sightseeing. It was a wonderful "home base" to return to each evening. The owners obviously take great pride in their little cottage and it was very well maintained and clean. And I don't know how they managed but they arranged for the most beautiful weather during our stay - I'd think they are magicians!

  Upon entering this adorable cottage, we truly felt like we were on vacation. The entire property (house and yard) was very clean and well maintained and stocked with all amenities you need. The owners were accomodating and made the entire experience (and trip) stress free. Our children (4,2,1) loved the beaches and the playground by Short Sands Beach. The property is located within walking distance to both beaches. About a 15 minute walk to Short Sands and 10 mintues to Long Sands. Walking back took longer, but we were pushing a double stroller and beach cart. We also walked to Nubble Lighthouse several times, not a bad trek. Lots to see in the York area. We also did several day trips to Oguinquit and Kennebunk. Loved our trip and are ready to visit Maine again!
