  My family all enjoyed our vacation at Sand Pebble Vista in August of 2012.The beach house is in an excellent location with a short walking distance to the beach as well as short distance to restaurants and shopping.Surfside has great fishing in a number of areas and alot of fun at the beach.This was our second year to stay at Sand Pebble Vista.Sand Pebble Vista has plenty of room inside the beach house with an excellent view of the beach.Also a very nice and large balcony with plenty of lounge chairs and covered parking.This is a nice place to stay any time of year.My grandchildren all had alot of fun on the beach,as well as my wife and I.We never leave out fishing since we all love to fish and cook our catch.We look forward to staying at Sand Pebble Vista again next year.

  We spent the week of July 4th in Surfside and had a remarkable time at Sand Pebble Vista! It is beautifully decorated and clean. It was the perfect place for our family get-together. We had a blast playing cards on the enormous dining room table!

  What a great getaway for our multi-family reunion! We really enjoyed the privacy of separate rooms, as well as the open living/dining/kitchen area for family time and entertaining. The well-stocked kitchen was the perfect place to cook up the fresh seafood we were able to catch and purchase at a nearby grocery store. The sunrises over the beach and the morning walks on the sand and surf via the private walkway were very relaxing! The porch with the view were so pleasant in both the morning and the afternoon, and the patio furniture was comfortable for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. We were able to get away but also enjoy the convenience of cable and wiifi. This is our second year to stay here, and I recommend it to all of my friends in Dallas. Don't miss the Fourth of July Fireworks free-for-all on the north end of the beach!!!

  We really enjoyed staying at the Sand Pebble Vista because it was clean and spacious and had an unforgettable view of the beach. We could never decide our favorite time of the day.....watching the sunrise from our spacious deck? Playing on the beach with our sun during the day? Enjoying our view of the sunset with a glass of wine? It was all better than you can imagine. The home had everything we needed, more than enough bedrooms, tvs, everything. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

  This beach house does not look like the photo's!!! Beware of fire ant's brown water, ceiling falling down in hall bath, stained sheet's, missing tile on the floorr's, both futon's had sinking holes balh, blah, enter at your own risk!!!

  Owner response: The pictures on VRBO were updated in May 2012 and they are very accurate of the property today. We also have a video posted that depicts the property as the renter would see it. We have never received any indication from any other guest regarding fire ants at the property. If this was an issue, the guest should have contacted management immediately. The water in Surfside Beach is not recommended to drink and something the city has been trying to correct. In our rental agreement as well as in our list of things to bring -which we mail out to every guest- it states that we do not recommend drinking the water and guests should bring plenty for cooking and drinking. You will find this same issue with any other home in Surfside Beach. Before the Memorial Day weekend, each home was properly inspected and any repairs necessary were made to all homes. Homes are all inspected at cleaning, although guests are responsible for washing bed linens. Extra blankets can be found in one of the closets at the home and bed linens are changed often at each one of our homes. Because guests are responsible for bed linen cleaning, housekeeping does not meticulously inspect the sheets although we always recommend for guests to bring their own. The ceiling is not falling down in the hall bathroom -or anywhere else in the house-, contrary to this review. We are disappointed that a guest did not find everything satisfactory and that they took the time to post a slanderous review. We always look towards our guests on ways we can improve ourselves and encourage them to let us know.

  The location of this property is the best. I highly recommend this property to all my friends and relatives. The home was spotless, it is a home away from home. We had a great time, It is so peaceful and relaxing, my son and daughter-in-law, my cousin and my aunt spent time on the beach, collecting shells, and sitting on the deck, talking all night enjoying the breeze and tranquility that this wonderful place offers. I could not ask for more.

  The beach house was awesome! It had everything you needed and the weather turned out great after the rain. My family and I had a blast and we cannot wait to come back! Locals are very friendly.

  This house was truly amazing. It has everything you need-dishes, tv, washer and dryer, bed linens... My family and I were so comfortable, it feels like home. The decorations are great and there is a great walkway that leads to the beach. It was perfect for the little and older ones in our group. I have already recommended this property. Great service and a great house!

  Pictures do not do this place justice! More than we expected!!! We had a total of ten people in our group ranging in age from 63 down to 13 and this beachhouse was perfect. Everyone had a great time! It has a great view of the ocean (and a semi-private boardwalk to get there) SurfSide Beach is a great out of the way beach for a quiet family vacation but close enough to the "big town" if a person wants to make some noise!!! We arre planning on making Sand Pebble Vista and Surfside Beach a new summer family tradition, and who knows my wife and I might make it a new winter tradition!

  The beach house was excellent and everything was as described. There are a lot of great places to eat and I would recommend dining at the Red Snapper Inn. My family and I enjoyed the beach and the great fishing spots the locals had told us about. My family cannot wait to go back again! The owners are awesome too!
