Hawaii Sheffield House consists of a of a Garden Suite and the Ginger Studio. The Ginger Studio has Secret Garden. Each room has a queen size bed. The suite also has a queen futon bed. Rented together both can sleep a total of 4 people in beds. The Garden Suite has an additional queen futon bed. The Ginger Studio can have a single bed added to the room.

It's great weather on Kailua Beach . Watch the Kite Surfers zip across Kailua Bay or perhaps try it yourselves.

Sheffield House is located in a neighborhood only a short walk from secluded Kailua Beach - one of the best kept secrets on Oahu. Sunbathe or swim in the cool water or just walk on the white sandy beach. On breezy days watch the windsurfers, or look for sea turtles between Flat Island and Kailua Beach Park.

Take advantage of waking up early from the time zone change and walk down to the beach to watch the sun rise out of the ocean over the Mokulua Islands. Or once a month check out the full moon rise out of the ocean. Bird watching is superior over the canal at Kailua Beach park or in Kawainui Marsh. See stilts, herons, or iwa birds.

The Garden Suite entry area has a split rail barrel with a turtle fountain that bubbles away. The Garden suite features a water color print of a Hawaiian monk seal. It has a wicker and rattan furniture, queen bed and queen futon couch. It rents from $145-165 per night for a party of two. $20 extra per person charge.

Both bedrooms features Mexican tile floors and a queen sized beds. Hawaiian applique quilts are on the beds. Both bedrooms also feature a private bath with a large showers.

The kitchenette in the Garden Suite has a refrigerator, hot plate, toaster, microwave and coffeemaker. It has an outdoor garden area with umbrella table and 4 chairs . The living area has a queen futon sofa.

The attached Ginger Studio can be rented separately and has a view of a bank of areca palms, a private entrance and a private bath that has a huge walk-in shower which is wheelchair accessible. The fountain outside bubbles merrily away in is an antique Chinese steamer pot. A breakfast bar with toaster oven and coffeemaker and under counter refrigerator is provided in the room. It rents for $125 per night.

Two bedroom Two Bath unit for rent is the garden suite rented together with the guest room, thus making a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. For a party of four $270-310.

It has off street parking, phone, tv, and wifi. A complimentary breakfast of sweetbread, juice, fruit and coffee or tea, is provide for your first morning. Please note we are a non-smoking facility. Upon arrival you will meet Paul or Rachel Sheffield or one of their teens.

Check in is 3 p.m. and check out is at 10 a.m. Late check out can be arranged with a 50% room fee. + Tax of total. We accept, cash, travelers checks and Visa and Master card (on a US bank.) $20 per person extra person charge. A 50% deposit is required for a reservation. No refund of deposit will be given except for health reasons. Due to our residential area we have a quiet time between 10 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

  • We are located between Kailua Beach and Kailua Town. There are tennis courts, basketball gym and outdoor courts and an Olympic sized pool (with a lifeguard) at the park only 13 houses toward Kailua town. Beautiful sandy Kailua beach is 10 houses in the other direction.
