  This is a nice cottage within walking distance of all South Congress has to offer. The house has all the needed amenities to assure a very comfortable stay. The owner lives across the street and is available should you need assistance with anything.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

  A very well put together little bungalow. It is clean, everything that is needed is there and it is obvious that Nathaniel (the owner) is very diligent about the accommodations. The location is excellent, a very short walk to a diverse collection of dining options in the area (I recommend the Whip In for basic groceries, cuisine & assortment of beer). It is a very charming and relaxing house and location to spend time.

  Perfect place to stay. Neighborhood is quiet, pretty, residential. Great location - easy to get downtown or anywhere else by car. House is exactly as described - very comfortable. Fully-equipped. Nice fenced-in backyard. And Nathaniel is a great host, relaxed - provided everything we needed without having to ask.

  In the heart of 78704, this two bedroom house is in the perfect location - a 5 minute walk to South Congress. The house is very comfortable-linens, furniture, and bed. There is a nice little kitchen equipped with all of the essentials. Water pressure and a/c unit were impressive, The 37inch TV is great for moving watching (we watched Giant on our Texas trip). Only suggestion: stepping stones from driveway to sidewalk/door would be nice. The owner is a pleasure to work with, he gives you your privacy, but is still very accessible. We will definitely be back!!

  Visited Austin for the first time with a couple of friends for my 30th birthday soiree! The house was PERFECT. A quick 5 min walk to Soco and all it's glorious food trucks and little shops. The house was very clean and the linens were very nice and cozy! Perfect size for a couple of friends. Nathaniel was very accommodating, and even brought me a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday. Can't get much sweeter than that! In all, I give this place 4 stars. Would definitely rent again and spread the word to anyone traveling to Austin.

  Had a great stay at the house. It was clean, very charming and stocked with anything you would need. Great location- few blocks to South Congress on cute residental street. Owner is very easy to work with and accomodating. Would definetely stay there again!

  This Travis Heights home was in the ideal location. It was a 5 minute walk to all the great South Congress action, and only a bit further to Lady Bird Lake. The house was was accurately described, super-clean, and very comfortable for our family of 4. I would not hesitate to stay again!

  My husband and I loved this house for ACL! We rented bikes right on Congress for riding to the festival, and we walked to all the restaurants on Congress by the house. The location is so great, and the rental process was so super easy. We rode the bus into downtown from the airport and actually walked to the house from the first stop on Congress (about a 1.7 mile walk, we could have cabbed it, but we are adventurous.) The house is adorable, and we felt right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

  My husband, daughter and I stayed for two weeks while our remodel was being finished. We love the neighborhood and the house itself was quite comfortable. I would recommend this house to my out of town friends.

  My family attended a wedding in Austin and this rental fit 3 adults and my 2 yr old comfortably. We enjoyed the short walk to Soco to shop and to Little Stacy park for my son to enjoy the jungle gym and play with Travis Heights kids. Nathaniel anticipates every need with refreshments, coffee, shampoo, soaps, and even laundry detergent! The place is clean and linens nice quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental and would gladly stay here again! If you have a car, visit Cafe 290 for a great meal!
