  We had the pleasure of renting this condo in the Spring and it was exactly as pictured. My husband and I are both golfers and having a great course right across the road was a bonus! Bike rentals to explore the island are just up the road, and shopping malls are within a short driving distance. The unit was large and very clean, with everything you would need for your stay. The balconies overlooked the pool and ocean. We couldn't have asked for a better view! It was so relaxing, to sit on the balcony in the evening, having a glass of wine and deciding which one of the many restaurants to go to. We would definitely return. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, and was a pleasure to do business with. Our only complaint was that our vacation wasn't long enough. Hilton Head is a beautiful island and if you have never been there, as we hadn't, you will be pleasantly surprised at how pretty it is.

  We recently stayed in this condo with my family of 5, and had a very nice week in Hilton Head. The listing is accurate in its description, and the pictures correctly portray what you will actually see. The trim level of this condo is above average, with nice furnishings, Corian countertops, very nice tiled floors, good cookware and cutlery. Even the patio furniture is very nice, not the cheap plastic stuff you find at those big discount stores. We had no mechanical failures at all. Everything from the internet access on down worked just perfectly, which we appreciate. We observed Dolphins swimming on a couple of mornings, sometimes as many as five or six at a time. They were really fun to watch. Villamare is a really nice condo complex. We stayed at Captains Cove in 2010, and Villamare is definitely a step up. It has a much larger pool, an indoor pool, an exercise facility, beautiful grounds with natural ponds, covered parking (keeps your car much cooler) when it's hot. Villamare is very close walking distance to the local Bike shop where you can rent bikes (which we did for 3 days and it was fun), and also close to the Palmetto Dunes General Store. My only "wish" for Villamare is that it could have gas grills to cook on instead of charcoal, only from an ease-of-use perspective. Beach and Pool access from this condo is very convenient. If you stay further back in the Villamare buildings you won't get the ocean view and easy access, which was important to us because we have 3 children. The beach in front of Villamare is very nice, large, and well maintained. I think the ocean was about 80 degrees the week we were in Hilton Head, so very comfortable and refreshing. I know some fear the Atlantic Ocean that the water is cold and rough, but we found the ocean to be warm and calm most of the time. Our four year old had no problem going in the water and jumping in the waves. In short, I heartily recommend this property. The owners are easy to deal with, and the condo is one of the nicest we have stayed in when you factor in the trim level, the view, the complex itself, and the easy access.

  You are VERY FORTUNATE to have landed on this site! If you were considering any other villas -- FORGET THEM This is the very best unit that Villamare has to offer on the Island of Hilton Head! The photographs shown are like it is. Amenities abound. My favorite is the indoor heated pool and health club. Neeless to say: "The ocean view is outstanding!" There are so many activities to engage you. After which you can chill in the scenic setting of your villa. A very well-maintained comfortable atmosphere. Do it now! Book while the dates are still available. You won't regret it. T
