Punta Blanca is located on the NE shore just sixteen miles from Roatan’s International airport in the friendly ex-pat neighborhood of Punta Blanca. The one-bedroom casita is surrounded by beautiful gardens, creating a private, quiet, tranquil and serene setting where you can truly relax. Peeks of the ocean can be seen from the casita and pool. You are just a short walk to the beach or the historic Garifuna Community of Punta Gorda. At the casita you can slow down and just relax, read a book or enjoy a siesta. On the other hand, if you really want action then snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, golf and many other activities are readily available. Outdoor living is at its best on the screened back deck with cooling ceiling fans where you can kick back with a good book, have a cerveca, rum or soft drink and listen to the sound of tropical birds and the rustling of the trees and flowers in the breeze. Use our FREE Wi-Fi Internet access to stay connected during your getaway (if you want to). A refreshing dip in the swimming pool might be just the ticket to end your day. Start your day with a walk on the beach to watch sea birds and enjoy the scenic ocean and the reef from the dock. Punta Blanca has one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. You can swim and snorkel to the reef from several docks in the neighborhood. The Crow's Nest restaurant at Marble Hill Farms is a short jalopy jaunt away, where you can have a yummy pizza or a delectable dinner. Local residents frequent here and often can offer friendly advice about the island, give directions or just engage in pleasant conversation. Tropical Island Divers who are a full service dive shop are based at Marble Hill Farms. As the only dive shop in the area they have almost exclusive access to seldom visited dive sites, many within a 15 minute boat ride. Tropical Island Divers, at Marble Hill Farms offers special dive rates to our guests. Dive Dolphin’s Den, Pinnacles, Mongoose, Punta Blanca Wall, Gretchen’s Shell and Diamond Rock! There are many wonderful destinations on the East side of the island: Camp Bay Beach, B.J.’s Backyard in scenic Oakridge, the quiet fishing village of Jonesville and a water taxi ride into the mangroves. Car rentals are available at the airport from many car agencies and have a wide range of prices from budget to luxury.
