  We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights in April 2013. The photos on the website reflect exactly what you are getting. The apartment was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The towels were thick and luxurious. The kitchen was well-equipped. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay there. It was walking distance to the Castro and public transportation. We would not hesitate to re-book here.

  We arrived very late (our flight was delayed) but Andrew was still there to welcome us. The apartment is located in a great area, Castro. Everything is close by. The apartment is very cosy, comfortable and practical. I wish it would have been the summer to have the time to enjoy the beautiful courtyard. ' I will certainly recommend everybody to rent that place for 2 or a couple with a small child. Go for it!! Annika

  Das Appartment war genauso wie auf den Fotos abgebildet und in der Beschreibung angegeben. Es war sehr sauber und es hatte alles was für unseren Urlaub benötigten. Steffi hat uns immer geholfen und hat uns wertvolle Tipps schon lange vor unsere Anreise gegeben. ( Alcatraz Tickets). wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Sollten wir mal wieder nach SFO kommen , dann bleiben wir bei Steffi und Andrew. Vielen Dank Steffi und Andrew für den tollen Aufenthalt und eure Hilfe !!! Liebe Grüsse Petra mit Familie

  We had a great stay in San Francisco using this apartment as our base for a week. It is spacious and spotlessly clean, with a great kitchen area and enough outside space to relax and take in the rays reclining with a glass of wine in hand. We didn't have a car, but its proximity to public transport was good - and also to a variety of restaurants and bars after a long day of sight-seeing. Help was on hand to point us to the nearest supermarket and hardware store (adapter for UK appliances not a problem), but never intrusive. I will recommend it to friends visiting San Francisco.

  My wife and I stayed for five days this past June at Andrew and Steffi's place. This was our first time staying in a vacation rental. Not only did it exceed our expectations as far as what we got for the money but we discovered the day-to-day experience of living in (The Castro neighborhood) in San Francisco. The owners were attentive and provided us with tips about getting around (on packed cable cars too), they have a map made just for their guest of local things to-do, but beyond that they left us to ourselves. The apartment is very spacious and the garden and patio are key for direct access to greenery and fresh air. There's a full kitchen that is great for cooking. The bedroom was great too with a king-sized bed. The place looks like the pictures, also a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed the place and it made San Francisco, San Francisco :)

  We stayed at this apartment for a week in October. It was lovely, clean, located in a very nice neighborhood, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Our experience was exceptional. We have family in San Francisco so we will look forward to renting this apartment again when we return.

  A friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying in Steph and Andrew's fabulous garden apartment. It is in a very quiet area of the Castro and best of all, has the most amazingingly comfortable bed! The apartment was beautifully clean and the kitchen is huge! The photos really don't do this lovely little place justice. Steph and Andrew are the warmest of people and the most fantastic hosts and NOTHING was too much trouble for them. We really appreciated the use of the bathroom scales to make sure our luggage wasn't overweight! I would most certainly stay here again without hesitation. We loved it!

  We had the great pleasure of staying in both of Andrew and Steffi's holiday apartments (the studio and the one bedroom) and found both of them to be homes away from home. They were the most gracious of hosts...there when you needed help (and maps!) but invisible when you wanted to be alone. The apartments are both extremely comfortable with comfy beds, sofas, tvs...everything you'd expect and all of a high quality. We had stayed in a different part of SF the week prior but enjoyed the Castro so much more. The area is filled with cafes and places to eat, as well as a great supermarket in walking distance. I highly recommend Harveys for the buffalo wings and Spikes for great coffee while chatting with the locals. Delores Park is a beautiful place to spend a lazy afternoon, with an amazing view of the city and is only a short walk from the apartment down a street lined with gorgeous San Francisco houses. The cable car is a short walk as well and is a direct route from the Castro, through Union Square out to the Pier....so easy access to all tourist hot spots. We stayed over a week, but wish it could have been more. I can't say enough about the area except that is the perfect place to stay when visiting SF, if you want to feel more like a local and less like a tourist. Thanks again Andrew and Steffi for all your kindness, hope to have the chance to come and stay again soon.

  Die Beschreibung und Bilder der Wohnung wurden vor Ort voll erfüllt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Sie ist komplett eingerichtet, so dass man im Urlaub nichts vermisst. Stefanie und Andrew sind sehr aufmerksame Vermieter, die den Gästen immer mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge zur Seite stehen und helfen, wenn etwas fehlen sollte. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, können es für einen Aufenthalt in S. F. durch die Lage (man ist schnell in der City) und auch von den Unternehmungen mit Auto (wir konnten die Garage mitbenutzen) sehr empfehlen. Wir können uns weitere Urlaube bei Stefanie und Andrew gut vorstellen und wünschen den beiden viel Erfolg bei der Vermietung ihrer Ferienwohnungen.

  Immaculate, charming, spacious, with many special touches, this peaceful apartment is moments from the heart of vibrant Castro. Feel like a local in this vibrant neighbourhood - far superior to downtown which may be a tad gritty for some. Easy mass transit to typical tourist locations. You won't need a car. Reasonably fit walkers can stroll to any number of nearby neighbourhoods - all of which seemed worth visiting to us. Onsite, helpful unobtrusive owners make everything easy. Andrew and Steffi are a class act. Best of many apartments we've stayed in across the US. San Francisco is a great city in for food, culture and architecture. Go there and stay here. BTW - have coffee at Spikes, cocktails at Twin Peaks and carnitas at Chilango. All within an easy walk. Thank me later.
