What a wonderful experience our family and friends had at this house in Whistler. Old, rustic character combined with new, beautiful renovations and modern amenities made this a perfect choice for our group. It was perfect for our family with 3 young children - a large yard to play in, a large trampoline to jump in for hours, a huge hot tub and lots of deck space. It is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, perfectly situated by many playgrounds and tennis courts. Matt, the owner, was an excellent host, greeting us upon arrival with a full tour; very friendly, flexible and professional. The house is meticulously maintained, extremely clean which is an important thing in what we look for when renting. We would definitely stay again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our group of 9 stayed for three nights. The home was equipped with everything we needed. Close to playgrounds, athletic fields, 15 minute walk to the village. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What a beautiful home. My jaw dropped when I walked into this place. We had a group of 8 staying at Matt's Whistler home, and it easily could have slept 3 more people. The master bedroom of this place is massive, and it comes with a loft that yours truly slept in for the duration of my trip. The washrooms are to die for - modern style, heated tiles, a Japanese "Washlet" toilet on the main floor... Truly a 5 star experience. Our group spent majority of the time in the large hot tub - this hot tub can easily accommodate 8 people. We had planned to go out to check out some bars while in Whistler, but we could not escape the comfort of staying in and hanging out in front of the fireplace. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone needing a vacation away from the hustle-bustle. It has everything you need - including a fantastic host. Matt was incredibly flexible with our group and I felt very welcome. Thank you for such an incredible experience - you are making the right choice by staying at Matt's Whistler Getaway!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time staying here, the place is gorgeous. We visited Whistler for the first time as a group of 6 (3 couples) and this place was perfect with 3 double rooms as well as plenty of extra space for any additional guests. Matt has done a fantastic job renovating it. The bathrooms are especially great with the downstairs one having a wet room and both have underfloor heating. We really enjoyed the hot tub, it's very comfortable and could easily stay in for hours. Matt was great at communicating with us before our visit and was a brilliant host! I am going to return again for sure and would highly recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay in Whistler. Thank YouRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our party of 11 stayed in this great cottage for the Thanksgiving weekend in cozy comfort. We had many cooks preparing the feast and the modern kitchen had lots of room for us all. Although we did bring a big roaster, pretty much everything else we needed was found in the cupboards. Lots of dishes and glasses, etc. As we were a large group we were anticipating that we would not all be comfortable for sleeping but this was not the case. The master bedroom has a small loft, which tucked in two young ones easily. Both upstairs bedrooms can easily sleep 3-4 and there is a relatively comfortable hide-a-way couch in the living room. Plus there were enough linens, pillows and comforters for all that and more. The two bathrooms are gorgeous, lots of water pressure for great showers and the heated floors are a great bonus. We never used the barbeque but the back deck is lovely and the hot tub is huge and set apart from rest of the deck, making it nice and private. On top of everything, the cottage was exceptionally clean! We certainly hope to go back again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I recently rented this home in the month of February for our first trip to Whistler. The home was very easy to find and in a Beautiful neighborhood. We stayed for 4 nights and had plenty to do. The house is very conveniently located close to the Whistler Village, was just about a 10-15min walk. The house itself was beautiful, had everything we needed for our stay i.e.- all kitchen-ware, dishes, soap, towels and all linens were provided and very clean. Their were five people in our party that fit comfortably in the house, could definitely fit more if needed. The Hot tub was a great amenity, we used it every night, was clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend this house for your Vacation stay. If we are up in Whistler again- we will be sure to return to this home. :-) Recommended for: 21+Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We stayed here for a friends birthday early in 2011. The home is beautifully renovated as of 2010 and the friendly owner Matt keeps it in spotless condition. There were plenty of towels, beddings, dishes and everything else required for a wonderful stay. The owner met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the place and already had the hot tub heated for us. We enjoyed a wonderful three days in Whistler full of lots of skiing and wandering the village. The house is within minutes driving distance of the village or an ~$8 taxi. The master bedroom is on the first floor, making it a better choice for people with disabilities. There are stairs leading up the porch, however, which may pose a problem. I am trying to book these place in another few weeks because we were so happy with our stay. Would recommend it to you.... after I've made my booking.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Some friends and I stayed in this beautiful cabin for a weekend and we were thrilled by it's character and comfort. Large rooms with plenty of sleeping space, fully functional kitchen, wonderful log burning fireplace, and a large, relaxing hot tub out back. It is set back from the road, offering the perfect amount of privacy and somewhat rustic atmosphere. Walking distance from Whistler village, however, may be difficult while toting a lot of gear. We will definitely be booking here for future getaways!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Just came back from an amazing weekend with friends. Matt had everything organized for us, kept in touch, and greeted us personally at the cabin. We were a large group, but had plenty of space. The cabin was set up with everything that we needed (fully stocked kitchen, towels, etc). We loved the great design and comfortable feel of the cabin. Will definitely be coming back again next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Matt came to personally greet our 2 families and ensure if there was anything we needed just let him know. The place is spacious enough to sleep 7 comfortably and the hot tub is perfect after a day of skiing. The renovations on the place are well done and especially like the heated floor in the bathrooms.Recommended for: Families with young children

We stayed for 3 nights at this chalet in Whistler and had a wonderful time. We were a bit concerned that there would not be enough room for our large group (6 adults and 4 children) but we were very comfortable with the spacious design and large bedrooms. We were especially impressed with the renovated kitchen and bathrooms, they really gave it a luxurious feel. Everything we could need was provided (even laundry detergent!) and we found the accommodation meticulously clean when we arrived. The jacuzzi and trampoline were an added bonus that made the trip memorable for adults and kids alike.Recommended for: Families with young children

We recently rented this property for a mountain bike vacation we had been planning to Whistler BC. I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with the property and surrounding community. The house came complete with everything our group of 6 would ever need for our stay. The interior maintained a rugged feel while at the same time providing modern comforts and design elements. One of the highlights for our group was kicking back in the hot tub and grilling out on the back deck after a long day mountain biking. The community and it's proximity to Whistler Village was incredible, only a few minutes to reach the center of Whistler Mountain. I would recommend this property and owner to anyone looking to visit Whistler in the near future. I know I'll be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We travelled with a group of seven.6 adults and a little kid. We stayed there for 3 nights and all of us enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are spacious and the two bathrooms are newly renovated and very modern. Especially the japanese toilet :)! The living room and patio are very compfy and the hot tube is perfect for relexation. The kitchen is the best equipped vacation rental kitchen we ever saw. Every tool is new & clean. The house is in walking distance to the village and the hiking-running trails start behind the house. We loved it and we think it's a perfect gateway for a Whistler vacation. Matt was very friendly and very uncomplicated and made our stay in Whistler even more pleasant. We recommend this place a 100%.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
