This place was excellent for our stay on a boys getaway. Had some good moments and a great memory. Elaine provided everything we needed and then some. All the amenities including wireless access. All the dishes, pots and pans we needed to fix the groceries we bought for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best part about the two day hiatus was nobody bothered us and the owner was available through a phone call. We didnt experience any problems and I only had to call once just to find out about recycling. Would definitely repeat, as this is a place where anyone can relax and take a scroll down to the lake and sit for hours if needed or sit out on the deck up top or down below. Neighbors were there but couldnt really tell they were. Seemed like a friendly place to be. We enjoyed our stay at this place and thank the owners for making it feel just like a home away from home.Owner response: Thanks so much for the review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you visiting again. You all were wonderful guests and we thank you for taking the time to recycle.

Our stay at this cottage was a great experience. I would recommend it for anyone. Pros: - Plenty of room for the dogs - Clean, well-stocked environs - The cottage was much larger than we envisioned. There were only four of us, but it could have easily been eight. - Great area - Beautiful lake just a short walk away - Short drive to both Brimfield Antique Fair (10-15 min) and Sturbridge (10-15 min). - Refrigerators on both main floors! (No walking upstairs for drinks!) Cons (If I'm being really picky): - Slight odor to the home. Couldn't quite place it, but it wasn't necessarily unpleasant nor something you couldn't get used to - No outdoor fire pit (This would have been a big plus in our eyes. The night's were so beautiful, it would have a reason to be outside more) - The walk down to the beach is a little steep and rough. It seems they recently might have had the hillside give out. We made it. And so did the little kids next door. - The tiny beach and great dock are shared by the owner's other property. So you may not be alone at the lake.Owner response: Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. Outdoor fire pit, a great idea, it definitly will receive consideration. Thanks and hope you return next year. Elaine

We had a great time at this cottage. It really reminded me of the cottage we had as a family growing up. Elaine was great about getting back to me with any questions I had, and we loved the little beach area we had access to. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed or wanted. Had a great time - thanks Elaine! Andrea, Josh, Aiden and Adam.Owner response: Thanks so very much for sharing your experience with us. It is great to know you enjoyed your stay. Hope you will consider visiting in the future. Thanks, Elaine
