  Wow, what an awesome house! We spent 2 nights here with our 6yo daughter and enjoyed the house and the setting so much. The woodwork and views are gorgeous and house was well equipped for cooking. SUPER clean house with lots of towels/basic supplies, good instructions on how to utilize house, hot tub wonderful - private yet with huge view as pictured online, property has no traffic or neighborhood noises, and is close enough to town to run to grocery, shops. We had lunch out twice - both times at Cask and Schooner. It was just about the only place open in March for lunch, but we didn't mind as it was excellent (not the fish and chips place I recall from 10+ years ago) with local products and great menu/service. Very relaxing stay - we will return! Thank you Jenni for sharing this home with others. We enjoyed reading how you renovated it. It is a gem.

  We loved the Round House and can't wait to get back! The views are spectacular and the open floor plan lets you enjoy it from all angles. Outdoor speakers are a great touch for enjoying a relaxing evening in the hot tub...private location, close enough to town and more. Everything was perfect and would highly recommend the Round House, you'll love it!

  The pictures on the website do not do this house/location justice, it is simply beautiful. The house is warm and inviting, loved the wood burning fireplace and the kitchen is awesome. Very quiet spot, very private. We ran the Orcas 25K run and you can imagine how nice the hot tub was that evening complete with a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend staying her.

  A gorgeous setting, with a marvelous variety of birds (loons, harlequin ducks, eagles, buffleheads, to name a few) and an otter to entertain you. The house is beautiful and interesting, the grounds are lovely, with flowers and madrone trees. It's comfortable and way too easy to simply stay onsite, enjoying the little cove and wildlife (had to force ourselves out for walks). Possibly the most peaceful spot we have ever stayed - we eagerly look forward to a return visit.

  My husband and I spent 3 nights at the round house in early December to celebrate his birthday - and it was just the right spot! The house was in a great location, close to town, but not too close, and with a really fabulous 180+ degree view. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and the perfect peaceful place to hole up for a few days with some good food, good wine, and good company. The owner was very responsive, and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend a stay if you're visiting the San Juan Islands.

  We had an incredible time at the Round House and plan to return. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed every minute of our days, as the 180 degree views allowed us to enjoy the scenery from the warmth of the home. The special features inside from the Direct TV, Wi-Fi, Surround and full kitchen kept us so entertained and comfortable that there was no cabin fever for us! We loved being inside and can only imagine how wonderful it is in the summer when the weather is more agreeable. We were so pleasantly surprised by all the amenities - this was not the "bare minimum" vacation home we're used to staying at. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and some staple slupplies we needed for a cooking a week's worth of meals, including a full Thankgsiving dinner! Our visit at Round House was fantastic and we're already plotting a return. Thank you for sharing your amazing vacation home with us. It was perfect in every way and we will always have very, very fond memories of our time there.

  My husband and I came to the Round House for our anniversary weekend and have enjoyed every minute! We've enjoyed a fall storm and some sun, with a great view from inside the house and out on the deck. We even got to see a Bald Eagle and a seal! The house is clean and comfortable, not to mention beautiful. The kitchen is a dream, and the rain shower is to die for! We loved the privacy and the convenience of being so close to Friday Harbor and some great resturants. The owners were easy to work with and made our stay very enjoyable!

  I spent a month at the Round House in July 2010. It was great. Comfortable home, great location, fabulous views, and right around the corner from the golf course. I highly recommend this location.

  The Round House was absolutely perfect for our family of six. The house is right on top of the water, it's quiet and private, but only a few miles from Friday Harbor. The house seems to be recently remodeled- the design, floors, furniture, entertainment system, hot-tub, appliances, even the china and glassware are fine and make the house that much more enjoyable. We saw seals and bald eagles every day from the house. It was a nice run from the house to town and we could drive to the whale-watching park in minutes. The owner was very gracious and made our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to come back.

  The Round house was comfortably furnished, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the deck which had spectacular views and we also appreciated the private setting. The owner was very easy to work with and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful retreat.
