We close our beach house for the real winter months of January, February, and March. We usually open the house for the season in late March or whenever we get our first request.
Directly on Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunkport, Maine the most spectacular feature of our home is it's location. Situated at the northeast end of Goose Rocks Beach the home has views of Timber Island, the Cape Porpoise Islands, most of Goose Rocks Beach itself, and open Atlantic Ocean. There are beach steps in the front yard leading down to our own stretch of beach.
The first floor of the house has three bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed, oceanfront sliding door leading to small ground floor deck, and en suite bath with soaker tub and separate stall shower. The first of the two smaller bedrooms also has an oceanfront sliding door leading to a ground floor deck and is furnished with two twin beds. The second smaller bedroom has windows on the yard and is also furnished with two twin beds. The two bedrooms share a bath with a tub and shower combo.
The entryway is open to the second floor and has stairs leading to the second floor. The view of the ocean, islands, and beach from the second floor is stunning. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are open concept. The dining room table is set into it's own bay window providing unlimited ocean views. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and microwave and also has our unlimited view. The living room is comfortable and has cable television and internet access if you bring your own laptop. There is a 1/2 bath tucked into a corner of the second floor for convenience. Both the living area and kitchen have sliding doors opening onto the second floor deck well equipped with table and chairs.
Goose Rocks Beach is a charming traditional New England beach community enjoyed by families for generations. There is a small community organization with tennis courts right at the beach and golf courses in Kennebunkport seven miles away. Kennebunkport has historic buildings from the 1700 and 1800's and dozens of unique stores and restaurants.

Exceptional location, wonderful accomodations and absolute responsive, attentive property managers. The photos can not possibly capture the beauty, serenity and wonderful people of Goose Rocks Beach. The property is exceptionally maintained and the owners are completely accomodating. I would absolutely recommend this property to not only friends, but close family and anyone who loves a beautiful, peaceful setting.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were in heaven and that was just on the first floor! When we got up to the second floor where the kitchen and living room space was, our jaws dropped. There are sweeping, breathtaking views of the ocean and islands in every direction and a gorgeous deck that spans the length of the house. We had rented a house on the other end of Goose Rocks Beach in previous years and found this section to be much more private and less crowded (not that Goose Rocks Beach is really crowded). The house is equipped with everything you could ask for and Bruce makes you feel like you are walking into a 5 star hotel with beautiful flowers, wonderful music playing, and towels perfectly laid out on the beds. The bedroom set up is perfect as well as there are three bedrooms downstairs with two full baths. Once we got there, we didn't want to leave. We did venture out to Kennebunkport Center which is just a short drive away but we found ourselves just wanting to return to the house to enjoy the spectacular views and comfort that this house offers. We did discover a restaurant close by that offers their full menu as take out so we would stop in for a drink at the bar and take our food home and eat dinner on the deck and then we would walk the pristine beach, when at low tide, seems you can walk forever on the soft white sand. This June will be our fouth year returning to this property and it is something my husband and I look forward to all year long! You will NOT be disappointed!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were greeted with classical music and bouquets of lilies on the kitchen and dining tables. Beautiful, immaculate home right ON the beach with spectacular views. We never wanted to leave the view so we prepared most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Spectacular views from upper level as well as from the lower level bedrooms of the beach and Timber Island. Best location on Goose Rocks Beach!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

For Summer Rentals between June 29th and Labor Day,2013 we rent weekly starting Saturday at 2pm ending the following Saturday at 10am.Summer rentals @ $3200/week. We close the house in January and February and usually open the house in late March with the rate of $250/night/three night minimum or $1250/week until June 1st, 2013. June 1st to June 29th, 2013 $250.00/night/three night minimum or $1750/week. For Fall 2013 starting September 3rd, 2013 the rate is $250/night/ three night minimum or $1400/week. October 19th, 2013 through December 16th, 2013 $250.00/night/three night minimum or $1250/week
