We had a terrific time in Galena. The villa we stayed in is 2 thumbs up! Homey, very clean, kitchen fully equipped, all rooms are roomy and updated. Flat screen, DVD selections perfect for us and free wifi. We also love the 2 skylights. We would definitely come back.

Our long weekend getaway was wonderful. Our stay at Art & Kathy's townhouse was like home away from home. Art & Kathy meet us at the townhouse and were very friendly and informative. Their home is very clean, cozy and loved how quiet it was. Our first time in Galena was wonderful and we look forward to returning soon.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a lovely time at Art and Kathy's townhome. They met us when we arrived and walked us through all instructions. The townhouse was immaculate and extremely well-maintained. It was so peaceful, and we considered it a perfect getaway. We look forward to returning each year! Thanks Art and Kathy!!

Nice little condo near Eagle Ridge resort and the General Store. Sits on a quit street with views of a forest and the gold course in the distance. I would highly recommend!

A Fabulous Getaway!

We rented this townhouse for three nights this week! The owners, Kathy and Art, met us at the location and explained everything we needed to know. The rental is incredible with everything you may need for a stay away from home. The kitchen was stocked with every type of appliance, cookware and supplies you would ever need! Much better than my own home! The pictures are excellent of the interior, and master bedroom and bath great! Alos loved the two skyklights where you can watch the stars at night. Nice deck and firewood was provided. Kathy and Art left two small loaves of banana and pumpkin bread as a welcome gift. We felt at home with the touches they add as owner managers of this property. We would absolutely book this again, and hope to in the future. Thank you, again, Kathy and Art! Natalie, Georgine, Joy & Al

Wonderful Fall weekend. Really enjoyed the fireplace and peaceful ambiance. Thought a fire pit would have been nice, but not really practical. Will definitely come back. First time usingt VRBO - easy to use.

Everything was great. Its in the Galena Territories which offers lots to do. Its very near Galena and Dubuque, IA which worked out very well for us. We were very pleased and plan on returning.

My son, two nieces and I spent this past weekend there and loved it. We had more than enough room and with two bathrooms and a full kitchen you can't go wrong! One of the swimming pools is located across the parking lot - with an 8-year old in the mix - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. Thank you to the owners for providing everything you need while staying there!

Thanks to Kathy and Art for a wonderful vacation in their home. The place was great - wonderfully stocked, clean and spacious. Special thanks for the use of the beach towels, pool toys and stool for our 3 year old! My husband, I and our 2 girls had a great time. Use of both the owners club pool and the private Walnut Hill pool was great too. Thanks again!

We just spent the weekend here, and it could not have been nicer. Kathy and Art are the perfect hosts, met us at the townhouse to explain everything, and gave us a bottle of nice wine for our enjoyment during our stay. The home is immaculate, well stocked with everything that you would need, and the pictures accurately represent what you get. It was amazingly quiet, and very relaxing. We will definitely be back for another stay. In fact, because of our experience, we are considering buying a place in Galena Territories.

The location was wonderful. The option of two very different pools was great on these 100 plus days. Art gave us great instructions and welcomed us personally. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with and they both worked with our requests on check-in. My daughter and I enjoyed the comfortable feelings in their very clean townhouse. The kitchen utensils and dinnerware were so clean that I didn't wash everything in the dishwasher first (normally it is the first thing I do in a new place). I would return with a few girlfriends or with my daughter again.

Our small Villa was clean and properly maintained. We had no problems with anything there, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The bottle of wine was a welcome sight upon arrival :) Nice touch to welcome us to the Territory. The pool was very handy and also very clean. The new owners club is amazing. The guide to the Territory and Galena compiled by the owners was very thorough & helpful. Stonedrift Spa was amazing. Spike's has great food, and our favorites in town were Fried Green Tomatoes and Vinny Vanucchi's! The only slight glitch was that Starbuck's in the Lodge was rearely open :( Overall, a great little place to stay in beautiful country. The price was very reasonable!

What an absolutely wonderful experience we had here.. The owners, Kathy and Art, could not have been more helpful and hospitable to us upon our arrival. This villa is immaculate and they have truly thought of everything here you could ask for. Quiet, modern, clean, well maintained and use of owners new pools were great! Our 3 year old loved the toddler slide! Thanks so much Kathy and Art for allowing us into your home - we will be calling on you again!

A lovely anniversary getaway

We had a lovely few days in the Galena area. When we arrived, Art and Kathy met us at the rental and showed us around. What lovely people! They have a very comfortable townhouse and it looked just like it did in the listing. The unit was very clean. We brought breakfast fixings and some things to grill and we found the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck and used the grill several times while we were there. It was a relaxing time to just chill out and enjoy the area. The town of Galena is only about 10-15 minutes away, so we had the best of both worlds. We would definitely return.

What a wonderful villa to stay at. The owners were wonderful, they met us as we checked in and were very informative. Their villa was well maintained. A nice secluded quiet setting. The unit was just as described and as pictured in the photos. A nice escape for a couple or girls get away.

We couldn't have asked for a more accomodating home for a girls weekend get-away. Working with Kathy and Art (the owners) was wonderful and everything described about their home was accurate and well-maintained. The house was very clean and we appreciated all of the information that was provided to us upon arriving. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed evenings on the deck and walks throughout the territory. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends looking for a quaint rental home in the Eagle Ridge territory.

My husband, 13-month old and I wanted to spend a long weekend in Galena. We were excited about this golf villa for it's location, size and price. The villa looked exactly like the photos - it was clean, well-maintained and we were pleasantly surprised to learn the bedroom and master bathroom are on a separate floor from the living space and second bathroom. The kitchen is fully appointed with everything you'd need to make a meal at home. When we booked the villa, the owner was very responsive to all my questions and provided detailed directions to their property. She provided cell phone numbers for both herself and her husband. And, as a bonus, the owners live in the area, met us to let us in and were available should we have needed anything during our stay. They also put together a nice folder of things to do and places to eat in the area and provided a detailed list of contact information in case of emergency. During our stay, we could not hear anyone in neighboring villas, which was a huge plus. It was the perfect space that made for a really wonderful visit to Galena. And, one of the sofas pulls out to a bed, which means as our son grows into a bed, he will have a place to sleep, too! When we return to Galena, we will definitely come back to this golf villa again!

This was a great place to stay. I would recommend it. The place was clean, organized, and comfortable. The pool was refreshing and there is so much to do and see in Galena. We were concerned that our 2 year old wouldn't have anything to do but the pool was right there when you pulled into the villa's parking lot. Also aquarium in Dubuque was nice and not far away. The villa was well-maintained and very clean. It was also peaceful and very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your villa with us.

We visit Galena often and have stayed in a number of different villas, condos etc. This condo is extremely well maintained, very clean, well stocked -with everything you may need and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to go back...couldn't ask for more!!

We enjoyed our three day weekend at Galena Territory. Your unit is clean and well maintained and we wanted for nothing. We are frequent visitors to the area and we will definitely consider renting your unit again in the future. At least until we purchase our own property in the Territory!

Galena is a great town to visit, charming, pretty, good shopping and not too pricey. The condo is a few miles from town, but an easy drive in a beautiful setting. Worth being out of town for it's secluded feeling, quiet setting and peaceful surroundings. The resort store is less than 1 mile away and has a good selection of necessities and crafts. The condo itself was very clean and well-appointed. We weren't in need of anything! We had 4 people sleep there with no problems. So much better than a hotel - kitchen had everything we needed, 2 bathrooms which is great, and even washer/dryer if you needed to do laundry. The owners were very friendly and keep a binder with information on the area and also they give you good recommendations on restaurants in the area. Very nice trip!

We stayed at the golf villa for a weekend last August. It was our first time in Galena, and we loved it. The villa was in a great location, we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine out on the balcony, swam in the pool right outside the front door, biked around the Galena Territory, and enjoyed downtown Galena. And, by the end of the weekend, we were engaged! It was a memorable weekend, and we'd love to come back and stay at the villa again.

My wife and I were able to relax with our two year old for a few days and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of this wonderful home. Galena offers many attractions but not many for young children. We had a great time none the less. I would recommend staying here, it is very peaceful.

Thanks for sharing your home with us! The villa is in a perfect location - close to everything especially the pool. Very clean, quiet and had absolutely all of the comforts of home but in beautiful Eagle Ridge. Thanks for recommending dinner at Flying Horse - food and atmosphere were great. Also had an awesome lunch at Spike's! We'll definitely consider your villa again for another getaway when our kids are away!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a great time in this very private unit with a nice deck that backs to a nature area. We enjoyed golfing and our dinner at the lodge. Had great time and it was an excellent value!
