Our cottages are located within a residential district of private lakefront homes on Crystal Drive. Our property sits on the northeast shore of Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is known as one of the ten most beautiful lakes in the world and is approximately 2 1/2 miles wide and 8 miles long.
Our beach is 50' and is ideal for water sports. We have a mooring available for your small boat. Note that you will not have to cross a street to get to the beach. Additionally, our beach is sandy (not rocky) and beautiful sunsets are hard to beat.
Walk or bike to downtown Beulah to hit the Betsie Valley Trailhead.
Steps to a park, tennis court, ice cream, and the Cherry Hut (seasonal). Perfect location to enjoy day trips to TC, Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau Peninsula (wineries), and Petoskey.

Year Purchased: 2000
Tim lives in Beulah year round, while Jill visits from Las Vegas. Tim retired from General Motors and enjoys maintaining the cottages. Jill's interests include real estate, pilates, yoga, and her boys--2 sons and husband, David.
Why the Owner Chose Beulah
The property was purchased by Tim LaSalle and his daughter, Jill, in 2000. The cottages have remained in the family and were originally bought and maintained by Tim's parents and Jill's grandparents, Betty and Paul Wienbrauck. Since 2000, Tim and Jill have updated and remodeled the cottages and continue to enjoy as much time as possible up north on beautiful Crystal Lake.

Perfect Crystal Lake Cottage

The cottage is small, but very well-appointed, air conditioned, and with a new flat screen TV. You can see the lake from the cottage and it is in a nice quiet area. Everything is included but sheets and towels which is the norm in this area. Tim and Jill keep everything in perfect shape and the cottage had been newly remodeled. We brought two kayaks. We liked it so much, we are coming back this summer and bringing our son and his wife.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband and I have been coming to this property for the last 7+ years and we look forward to our trip every year. The accomodations are always clean, nicely maintained and very comfortable. This is a great place to unwind and take in the stunning beauty of Crystal Lake. The sunsets are simply amazing! What I love most is that I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you're not one for being idle, don't worry! There are a variety of things to do - walk to downtown Beulah for some shopping or a bite to eat, walk to mini golf, bike to Frankfort, swimming, kayaking, you name it! Tip: A.Papano's pizza is literally right across the street and has some of the best pizza ever - it also happens to be next to an ice cream shop. We definitely recommend this property for a great "Up North" experience.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
