Our home is a bungalow with cathedral ceilings. It is spacious and sparkling clean. Our home is #655 at Venture Out Resort on Cudjoe Key. (A 24-hour gated community).
We have a light and bright two bedroom, one bath cottage which is a tropical paradise. We have wood floors and tropical decor. The roomy living room has a TV with expanded cable, DVD, comfy couch (which can also sleep 2 people), a Pier 1 parasan chair & a comfy rattan chair. Each room is light and bright and always sparkling clean. Our home is obviously equipped with central air to keep you comfortable & cool. We just added WIFI in our home so you can remain 'connected' to the world while enjoying paradise!
Adjacent to the living room is the large eat in kitchen which we have just completely redone with new cabinets, counters and updated appliances. There is an adjacent dining room table. People always end up in the kitchen! There's lots of light and new larger windows so it's a great place to be! Fully stocked with everything you'd be looking for on vacation including dishes, wine glasses, all the pots and pans you need, coffee maker, blender, toaster and MORE.
The master bedroom has a KING size bed with new comforter, lots of storage space and cable TV.
We're provided lots of fluffy new cotton towels in the bathroom.
The second bedroom has a twin trundle, when the two twin beds are side by side it's like another King Size Bed and cable TV which is video game ready (currently has PS2 connected with about 10 games including Guitar Hero)!
We have a new grill in our backyard along with cement patio furniture for you to enjoy the beautiful keys weather. The front porch as a cute table for two so you can enjoy the sunrise and your morning coffee!
Feel free to bring your boat, we don't personally have a dock but the marina is just a minute away and you can put your boat in the water and store it overnight in the parking lot! A little less convenient but this way you benefit from the lower cost NEW Owner Special!!!
PETS are allowed. An nonrefundable pet fee of $50 will be charged to cover the additional cleaning costs. Our home is always sparkling clean!
OUR HOME IS NO SMOKING. Smoking outside is obviously permitted.
The GATED COMMUNITY we own in is AWESOME & a very friendly place to stay & enjoy. There's an Olympic sized heated swimming pool plus kiddie pool. We have a marina which gas, (no ethanol at this time) for your boat which is the least expensive in the Keys. We have a store on-site at the marina for necessities like milk and eggs open 7 a.m. till 5:30 daily. We have lighted tennis courts, basketball court, kiddie playground, bocce ball court, lending library, ping pong tables, open water tiki picnic area, and even a doggie walk at our fence line! During season there are Pancake Breakfasts every Saturday morning for only $3.00 - all you can eat! Fridays offer fun events and happy hours. And you will enjoy all of the friendly people who live and visit here.
We're only 19 miles from Key West, but do not think you HAVE to go anywhere - lay by the HUGE POOL right on the OPEN WATER and watch the elegant seagulls float overhead as the palms sway. Sun yourself and read a good book and simply relax! Plunge into the BIG JACUZZI and soak your troubles away. Or spend some time with someone you love - holding hands and watching the herons fishing along the waterside! And you do not even have to get in your car to do any of these!

We just wanted to thank you for sharing your home. The space was large for the six of us. We loved your decorations and paint colors. The beach chairs were great to use. We also enjoyed all the facilities . From arrival to departure, our stay was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Everything we could need was provided, the property was clean and ready to allow us to sit back and enjoy vacation. The neighbors and others in the Venture Out community were very nice and helpful! This is just a short drive to Key West, but we found plenty to do near by as well. Highly recommended!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Stayed over NewYear holiday... Great location between BH state park and KY...Clean, lots of room, everything worked. Just like home but in the keys.... House had extras to use and take to beach +++.... Resort was quiet and had lots of extras.... Very safe and secure....Cant ask for more than that..... We stayed in KW last year but this was so much more comfortable and less expensive... was able to park and walk in KW with no problem. Grocery shopping and restaurants were close too.... pack light...enjoy, HAKUNA MATATARecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great place to stay. It's very clean and has everything you need. Loved the pol/jacuzzi. It was nice to be able to put our boat in there and go out to Looe Key for some diving. I did not want to leave! this is such a cute and adorable place to stay. it had just the perfect amount of room for us to use. i would definitely recommend it to others. it's in an awesome location. close to all the amenities in the resort. the only con is that the bedrooms get a bit hot during the day but it feels great once the sun starts to set.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This bungalow is the perfect rental. It has everything you need. It is close enough to Key West to drive in for the day and then go back for sunset. It is also close to great places like Bahia Honda. The community is well kept and has a nice pool and hot tub. There is even a store to pick up any thing you may have forgotten or don't feel like driving to get. The unit was neat and clean and we loved staying there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Overall, we had a good experience for the price. We have used vacation homes a lot and as far as having everything in the home you could possibly need, this home has it. The few draw backs were one, the NOISE. Oh my gosh. For such a small island, starting at 5 am the cars and trucks that rumbled by was a bit much! I know this is not the owners fault, but if you are light sleeper be aware. Also, the community rules were a bit much. The "dog friendly" part is a bit of a hassle as well as you are not allowed to walk your dog in the park other than to get it out of the park. The dog must use the bathroom outside the gate, and there is very little space to do that. Even though the list of rules was long, I will say that i didn't see anyone being hassled about them. Again, these are not the owners issues, but I found it to be a bit of an inconvenience! The place it self is adorable and the little extra touches were very cool!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have some great places close by to eat, The Square Grouper, The Wharf Grill, Bookdocks, Mangrove Mama's....most look like holes in the wall that you'd never enter at home but they're great. It's all part of the unique beauty of the Keys!
