  I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. Our second visit felt like we were going home. Great location spectacular views and just all around fabulous. The view from the kitchen even makes me want to cook!!! For sure we will be back. Owner and property manager are easy to deal with Eric was there for anything we needed. Thanks Eric! Pure Vida

  Our stay at Casa Colinas was spectacular! The house was beautiful. We like to cook and found the kitchen very well equipped. Dennis told us where to get fresh seafood in town and it was great. The views from the balcony and the infinity pool were unbelievable. We had white faced monkeys and iguanas visit us by the pool often. The nearby national parks provided great hiking and wildlife. We definitely plan to return next year! Thank you for all your team did! Bret

  My family (husband, 17 yr. old son, 15 yr. old daughter) and I enjoyed our stay in this clean, beautiful, well maintained home in Playa Hermosa. The owner was easy to communicate/work with right from the start. Prior to our vacation, we asked advise from Dennis (property mgr. in Costa Rica), who was very knowledgable about who see for anything we wanted to do, and were to go for food and fun. Eric (caretaker of home) was just a wonderful guy. He helped us out with a couple of unexpected issues that arose, and he was always a phone call away if we had questions about anything. Some of our favorite dinners were; Mario's Cuisine (close to Hermosa Beach), Ginger's, and Asia Tica (in Coco). Rented 4 wheelers through Charlie's Adventures, which was super fun. Frequented Hermosa beach because it was close, and had it to ourselves. Saw Howler monkeys in the trees, and beautiful rare birds there also. Mostly shopped in Coco where all but a few of the shops had the same stuff. Upon our arrival we shopped a grocery store in Coco. It was called Super Compro, and it was sooooo bad. No running water, and rotten meat smell. I suggest the little grocery store right in Hermosa. I think that was called SuperMercado, and they had everything you'd need. Nice and clean with friendly staff. Next door to that is a great little souvenir shop. I found it to have some unique jewelry, and other gift items. Rented a car through Dollar Rental because we wanted to be able to come and go from our place at all times. Pretty reasonable, it was a decent SUV with 4 wheel drive, and deisel fuel. The driving was not as bad as we thought it would be, just interesting. Walking from our place would have been a challenge because the roads are steep, windy, and skinny. Plus, in the heat you would roast. So all in all, I would go back in a second and this would be my first choice. Very relaxing, safe, and just what we were looking for in a vacation. Loved Costa Rica!!

  I am writing this review from the lower patio overlooking the vanishing edge pool and panoramic ocean view. This place is so beautiful it is a delight to just sit and relax here. Casa Colinas is very spacious and bright and we have more than ample room for our family of four. We were delighted to see a band of monkeys climb through the trees and jump off the edge of the pool in addition to the numerous iguanas that sun themselves near the pool. Play Hermosa is a lovely beach, very accessible, and not so commercialized. We also enjoyed short excursions to Tamarindo and Monteverde. We have a rental car and recommend a car for others who stay here for the flexibility this affords (getting groceries, exploring, etc.). We highly recommend Casa Colinas!

  This a a very nice home with a beautiful view and very comfortable set up. It is very close to everything you need from groceries to touring. We were able to return our rental car and just let our tour guide pick us up daily for adventures all over. Four star is because of a little problem with air conditioner in living area I am sure that will not be a problem everytime. Very good customer care. Would defintley recommend Casa Colinas for a vacation rental!

  Our family of 5 just returned from this beautiful villa. All the comforts of home in the most glorious setting. The views are unreal, the house is immaculate and the area is just so peaceful. We made the perfect choice. Hope to visit again soon. Cannot reccomend enough.

  This was our first time renting in a foreign country, but have used VRBO before so had some sense of security. The property was better than the pictures show. We took our 3 kids (11, 9 & 7) who made use of the pool every day and night. We also discovered a cool hiking trail behind the house to check out and explore some of nature. The property manager was very responsive and addressed any concern or need promptly. Thanks Dennis! He even stocked the fridge with some items for our kids as we got in quite late at night. Playa Hermosa is a quaint town with great places to eat and a nice, but quiet beach. Loved the resident monkeys. We took some video and lots of photos of Playa Hermosa. We are already planning next years return and the house is large enough for some friends to come along.

  We chose those home after much searching. The owners made themselves available to answer our many questions as well as offer helpful hints to help us enoy our stay in the area. Driving in the area and from the airport was easy. Felt safe and secure in the guarded community. Views to die for...and the secluded pool was beautiful. We plan to return.
